~Sunshine Day~

                        PinkCarebear.jpg

The Sun is making an appearance in the Central Valley today!  Woo Hoo.  It has been a while since we've seen it actually... It is still pretty chilly, somewhere around 36 degrees!  Chilly Chilly!  But hey, at least the Sun is out.  I'm going to enjoy it while I can...

Thank you all for all the wonderful comments about my doctors appointment.  It means a lot to have people who you don't really know, care so much about what it is going on in my life... Thanks again.

Just to let you know too, Mr. Zachary has been moving around a whole lot... So, I guess it was just the positioning or what not at the time the doctor was checking his heartbeat that it made it so hard to hear... So, all is good.

Last night, I watched the first episode of "Medium" (NBC) that I had DVR'd from Monday night.  Oh goodness it was good.  I can't wait to watch the next new episode on Thursday.  If you at all like something that has to do with Special Gifts or dealing with "the other side", I'd definetly recommend watching an episode to see if you'd like it.  Patricia Arquette does an awesome job with her character... I'm definetly going to make this a show that I watch regularly.

The Hubby is off for the next few days.  He'll actually be home today and tomorrow, but will work OT Friday and Saturday night with the Gang Unit.  What ever... He feels he needs to bring in some extra cash and work, then so be it.  But I told him, we are working on both kid rooms this weekend, so he better no be cranky.  Lol.

The Hubby and Miss Rowan are going to go grocery shopping today.  You never know what they'll bring back.  I've put in my request for dinner tonight... Homemade Pizza's.  Yum Yum.  I've been wanting pizza for a few days now, so, instead of buying pizza, we are going to make it!  It should be fun for Rowan to make her own pizza though... I can only imagine.  Hmm, maybe I'll take some pics.

Well, it is really slow today.  Nothing much to report or mumble about.  Lol.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday... Its the Hump Day, so just think, only 2 more days of work after today for the weekend!

::Many Hugs::

PS. Only 17 more days of work... Woo Hoo....

~Doctors Update~

Baby_blocks.gif

Well, my doctors appointment went well this afternoon.  I didn't pay attention to how much weight I've gained, but I know I did.  I don't except not to... So, hey, its all good.

My blood pressure was good.  Something around 130/60 or so.  So, it was much better than last time.  Lol.  Or at least it wasn't so high that they wanted to do it again...  I was pretty happy about that.

The doctor measured me and everything.  I'm measuring around 32 weeks, which is just about right on since I'm in the middle of my 31st.  I was happy to hear that I'm not as big as I think I am.  Haha.  But I still won't be suprised if I balloon out again like I did with Rowan with all the extra amniotic fluid.

Zachary's heart beat was around 130... The first time the doctor found it.  Yep, thats what I said.  The doctor found his heartbeat, listened to it, and then all of the sudden he lost it.  It took him another minute (or so) to find it again!  Scared the crap out of me... Especially when he asked again, "The Baby was moving around good today?"

Yeah, pretty much freaked me out.  He was moving all day.  I've felt him since too.  But hey, when he couldn't find the heartbeat, it was the worst minute... I had all the worst possible thoughts running through my head.  He told me that Zachary could have been positioned in a way that wasn't good to hear or moving around... Mind you, I don't feel him moving all that much when I'm on my back, its better on my side or sitting... So, I couldn't really tell you if he was or not.  But as long as he found the heartbeat and I'm feeling him now... I'm not going to stress.

The doctor also told me that he'd be looking to schedule the C-Section date sometime in the next week or so... Woo Hoo.  So, hopefully by next week, I'll have someone give me a call and tell me what day my little man will be coming.  It will be nice to know too.  Especially for the Hubby's sake... With another officer taking time off of work for their baby, knowing the date will help cover Hubby's shift.

Well, its a pretty quiet night tonight.  Rowan and I are home alone... Just basically relaxing.  I even took a Kitty-Cat Nap on the couch for about 45mins while Rowan watch "Pooh".  It felt good... lol.

Dinner is over and done with... Now I'm going to go enjoy a Rasberry turnover that just came out of the oven about 20mins ago... Yum Yum.

Hope everyone has a wonderful evening...

::Many Hugs::

~One of Them Days~

                          PigletandEeore.jpg

It's one of them days today.  I have the uncontrolable feeling of wanting to go home, climb into bed and pull the covers over my head.  I'm not really in a bad mood or a dark mood (as my mom would call it), but it is a day that I rather just be in bed.

I'm also having those nesting feelings.  Like I don't have enough time to get everything done that I need to get done before the baby comes.  I feel like my house is a complete reck, even though it isn't, and that I need to get started, and NOW!  I seriously feel like my time at work is a waste of good time.  I know it isn't, because it brings home a paycheck, but I feel like I could be doing something different, more productive.  I also feel like I should be spending more time with Rowan.  So, me being at work the last few days has been hard...

I'm trying not to let this bother me.  But it is.  Maybe its because I'm more emotional then ever now, in the middle of my 31st week of pregnancy, but who knows.  So, I'm going to put a smile on my face and push myself through these last 18 days.  Just wish me luck :)

Anywho... Enough of my mumbling and grumbling...

Last night was Miss Rowan's first "Big Girl Class" at gymnastics.  At first she was kinda hesitant to go out onto the floor with out me, but she saw the other 'big girls' going out there, and she followed right behind them.  I was pleased to find that they did do the dances/stretches that she did in her other class.  I think this warmed her up to the whole new class idea, something familiar to her.  She did have a hard time with the structure of the class.  Having to wait her turn in a line and follow a 'circuit' was a very new thing... In her Tot-class, they just ran from one station to another... They did take turns, but nothing like this.  But, after the coach (a girl younger than me!) reminded her a few times that she had to stay in line, she caught on.

Unfortunetly, she did have a melt down... And she was doing soooo good too.  After the coach took the kids to the water fountain to get a drink -all lined up like a train, with their hands on the kids shoulders infront of them- they went back out onto the floor to do some more stuff.  Well, she did the next excersise (on the bars!!) just fine then all of the sudden, she moved away from the group and was just sitting on the floor, staring at me through the window!  Her face alone could break a heart of stone.

All of the sudden, she just started to cry.  Not a lot... But she did.  I didn't react to her... No running out onto the floor to get her or anything... The coach seemed to handle it well.  She went over to Ro and tried to make her laugh and tickled her... It didn't work.  I could see her calling for me, yet I stayed put.  Finally, after Rowan started to really ball, the coach walked her over to the door and let her come see me.

After finally calmed her down, by promising her a sucker after class and with a drink from the water fountain... She went back onto the floor to finish the class.  So, overall, it went well.  When I asked her if she had fun, she said she did.  And when I asked her if she wanted to go back next week, she very happily said "YEP!"  I think in time, she'll adjust and come to really enjoy the class....

So, today is the day that Amber Frey's book "Witness: For the Prosecution of Scott Peterson" comes out.  The Hubby has informed me that he is going and buying it today... I told him, "Okay".  Lol.  I'm really kinda curious what this book has to offer, what will be new from all the stuff we already know about.  I guess I'll be trying to read the book after he is finished... Key word trying, because I know I'll be busy after Zachary comes... lol.

Well, I do have to leave early today because of my doctors appointment.... So, I better be going.  I have payroll to finish and get my 2005 filing in order.  I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

~A Happy Thought~

I was just looking at the calander, to determine when I'll most likely stop working... Health and baby permitting.

Well, because I know I'll have my repeat C-Section around Feb 21-25, I'd want a good two weeks off of work before that.  So, as I was looking at the calander, I decided that Thursday, Feb 3rd will more than likely be my last day.

And as I was deciding this, I decided to count how many actual work days I have left.... Because I work Mon-Thurs, I really only have 19 days of work left before I'm off.

Can you believe that?  How excited I'm getting... Lol.

Also, I realized that there are 20 days until my Little Baby Girl turns 3!!!  A very happy and sad thought, all at the same time....

Just thought I'd share this with you all.

Oh yes, please visit Kathi and give her some love... She isn't feeling all that great!

::Smiles and Hugs To All::

Monday Blues...

StarbucksCoffee.gif I've been needing coffee all weekend.  And of course, I'm not that much of a coffee drinker to keep coffee in the house.  So, right when I got to work, I went straight into the kitchen and poured myself a big ol' mug of coffee.  It was lovely.

::thanks to Dana (July171995) of the Tag Lounge for the wonderful Starbucks graphic::

I'm really not wanting to be at work today... Guess I was just having too much of a good time relaxing and being home with Rowan and the Hubby this weekend.  I just wanna go home and lay on the couch and veg :D  Haha.  I guess I'm getting to that lazy stage...  I was in bed last night at 830pm.  Can you believe that?  I wasn't asleep that early, but I was in bed... haha.

Oh my.  Yesterday, I swear, I was a bottom-less pit.  I was stuffing my face all day long and I wasn't getting full.  I swear, I must have eaten like 5 different meals... What a pig.  Maybe it was because I was bored or maybe I was just hungry... I don't know.  But everything I saw sounded good and I felt hungry like an hour after eating.  Haha.

I bet I'll be facing the music tomorrow when I go to the doctors and weight in... lol.  I can deal with the weight gain, I just don't want my blood pressure to be high again...

Besides wanting to stuff my face, yesterday was pretty quiet.  Our TV did get delivered and of course, the Hubby was very happy.  We watched a few movies on it, just to test it out.  He really didn't want to go to work either.  I guess being off for 5 days made him get used to staying at home... haha.  Oh well, he works tonight and tomorrow, then will be off for four days straight.

He does leave for a school in Burbank next week though.  I believe he leaves on the 11th and won't return until Friday the 14th.  It is some school/conference for California Narcotics Canine Assoc.  So, its all about dogs and dope, but no dogs need to be there?  Weird.  I just hope he enjoys it, because when he gets back... There will be plenty to do around the house for him :D  Hehe.

Tonight is Rowan's first night at her new gymnastics class.  I just hope it all goes over well... Because its a little bit more structured, I'm not sure how she'll take it.  No more dancing around and you have to take turns... Hopefully she'll listen to the teacher too... I'm sure it will all be fine, but more than anything, I hope she enjoys it.

I'll make sure I keep you all updated... But wish us luck.

Well, I've gotta run.  Have a lot to do and because last week was a holiday, payroll will be a bugger... Hope you all have a wonderful Monday...

::Many Hugs::

It's Coming!!

Well, the Hubby's TV is coming today.  It should be here between 11am and 1pm.  Hopefully it will be sooner than later... But you never know with the delivery people.  Let me tell you this though, the Hubby couldn't get anymore excited!  I swear, it is almost like Christmas again in this house... lol.

Right now, the Hubby is at the range, having to qualify, but I know he'd rather be here, getting ready for the special delivery.  I do hope he is home by the time they get here though.  I really don't like to be home alone when someone I don't know is here... Especially in my house... You never know these days.  I'm not too worried about it though.  The Hubby did insist that he would be home by 11!!  And I doubt he will be late :D

It is another blustery day outside.  Actually, its not all that bad.  A breeze with the threat of rain in the sky... I'd actually love to be out there taking a walk... But I've got chores to do inside this morning.  Whoopie.  Laundry to fold (and you all know how I feel about that...) and Miss Ro's bedroom to tackle.  Now that one will be fun.

My dinner for my mom last night was really yummy.  I made spaghetti with two different types of "toppings".  I did a meat sauce with ground turkey and then veggies (mushrooms, zuchinni, and onions) sauted (sp?) in olive oil then with chopped tomatos.  Very tasty.  Especially if you mixed them both together... Oh yeah.  Then there was a salad, Ceasar of course, and some bread.  I think my whole family was delighted.  And of course, the German Chocolate Cake was a hit!

Especially if you put the cake in a bowl with milk... yum yum ::hearing the cake call my name::

Miss Rowan really enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to her YaYa.  She had been practicing all day long, the little bugger.  And of course, she had to put on her Princess dress-up clothes when they got here.  Then she went around making everyone else Princesses.  Haha.  Even my dad and brother were Princesses by the end of the night.  I don't think they minded though.

<FONTFACE="COMIC color="#0000ff" MS? Sans>Our body clocks are so messed up from staying up late the other night and then sleeping in late.  It probably didn't help that we took a nap yesterday afternoon, because I couldn't go to sleep last night.  Ugh.  I just hate that.  Luckily, we had to be up at 9am this morning.  And I sure in heck won't be taking a nap... Thats all Rowan this afternoon!

She has really taken a liking to sleeping on the couch-bed in our room.  She doesn't put up a fight and she seems to sleep so much better too.  I guess we'll just keep doing that for a while and make sure she naps in her room to not let her forget about it :D  Plus, when her brother gets here... I'm not sure if she will WANT to sleep in our room anymore.  Not with a crying baby in the middle of the night!

We'll just have to see...

Well, I do have plenty to do... So I guess I better get to it.  I hope everyone has a great last day of the weekend.

::Hugs to All::

Welcome, 2005...

First and foremost, Happy New Year to all of you in J-Land.  I do hope that 2005 bring everyone happiness, health and plenty of joy.  May you get all you deserve and wish for in this new year...

Yesterday we took down almost every bit of our Christmas decorations.  The Hubby still has to take down his Department 56 Snow Village, but that will have to wait until he has the time.  He goes back to work this evening... WOO HOO.  After 5 days home, its about time (haha...).  We also cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more.  Now our house looks bigger than we remember it being and a whole lot less cluttered.  Its funny how Christmas decorations can do that.

We had a really great night last night.  My family (mom, dad, bro and his gf) came over for a wonderful dinner made mostly by the Hubby.  We enjoyed a yummy bean dip and artichoke dip before our dinner of pot roast, mashed potatos, and veggies.

Everyone seemed to fill up :D

After dinner we played a really fun game, "Seen It".  The Hubby and I were almost going to win, but nope, the Brother and his GF beat us to it... Lol.  Oh well.  It was fun and gave us plenty of laughs.

Everyone left around 945pm.  We were all tired... And didn't think either I or Rowan would make it to mid-night.  Haha.  But that all changed when we heard this big crash.

We didn't know if it came from inside the house or outside, so of course, Hubby slipped into Cop-Mode.  After checking the inside of the house, he made his way to the back yard where he found a busted alcohol bottle.  Yep, someone threw a bottle into our back yard where it shattered into a million little pieces.  ::Thanks Jerks::

We didn't know if it was just random or that someone could have been doing it because he is a cop (he has a take home car in our garage that people can see)... So, we decided to call the Sheriff's Department and have them come out.  We knew there wasn't anything they could do, but we wanted them to know it happened and possiblypatrol the neighborhood a little more that night.

So, thankfully the bottle didn't do any damage to our house (ie broken windows), but it did give us some extra umph and we were all awake when the ball dropped at mid-night... Happy New Year!!

Tonight I'm making dinner for my Mom's birthday.  Just something simple (a pasta dinner) plus a homemade birthday cake.  German Chocolate... her fave.  It will just be my mom, dad, bro and his gf... Plus Rowan and I.  Should be really nice.

Happy Birthday Mommy... Love You!!

Well, I don't really think there is much else to say right now.  Its been pretty quiet.  Oh yes, today I start my 31st week of pregnancy.  Woo Hoo.  That means only 8 more weeks until Mr. Zachary will arrive.  That reminds me... Fixing up and cleaning bedrooms are on my list of things to do tomorrow.  Yippee.

I hope everyone had a safe New Years Eve and enjoys their first day of 2005!

::Smiles and Hugs::
