~Oh!! Oh!! OOOOH!!!~

OMG.  I know this is my third entry in like two hours, but I so spaced on something that is Very Important!!!

Hey Jimmy... I know you probably already got the heads up on this one, but I'm not sure if everyone remembers...

One Tree Hill is back on tonight!!!
                                               The WB @ 8pm

Okay, that was your public service announcement for today.  You may return to your regular scheduled Journal Reading :)

~Mission Accomplished~

Well, that was quick.

I accomplised my mission on finding new car seats for the kiddos, thanks to Target.com.  I even passed the link on to my mom so she can by the same ones- if she wanted.

I bought two car seats per child... One for the Tahoe and one for the PT... because switching car seats out and around is a pain in the arse.

Miss Princess Rowan will probably fall in love with hers at first sight... Can you guess why??

Well, Graco makes a Disney Princess booster seat... See:
DisneyPrincessSeat.jpgSee how cute it is!?!  She is going to die when she see's it.  And it will hold her until she is 100lbs... Which I doubt she'll still sit in it... But how great is that!!

And Mr. Zachary got a "manly" one all of his own.  Actually, I had my friend Jolene send me the link of the one she bought her son Dimitri and I just got it in gray, not brown.  Personally, I think it looks very comfy and I wish I had something nice like this to sit in:
CarSeat.jpgI am sure he will enjoy it :)

The only bummer about odering two of each seat and having them delivered is the delivery charge... eek.  Almost as much as a seat!!  BUT!!  I had to order them because I have not seen the Princess seat at any Target or Babies r Us.  So, oh well.  Money well worth spending, Right Barbie?? ;)

Btw, I have been forwarding the comments about wanting to read Jolene's journal on to her.  If you have made a request in the last few days, try out the link... if you just made the request last night or today, I'll still have to foward them on.

Have a great Hump Day Friends :)

~The Double Edged Sword~

No, I'm not really talking about a real sword people.

I'm talking about antibiotics.

They are a wonderful thing, you know.  They get rid of the infection that is attacking your body and making you feel ill...

But they can also make you feel ill too!

Like my poor Zachary.  He is still on antibiotics for his ear infection and the poor boy has gone poo at least 4 times every day for the last few days!

It isn't normal poo either... Can you say Loosie Goosies??  Yeah, poor thing.  His booty is so red... I've been smacking on the diaper cream thick!

The poor thing woke up last night again with a diaper full of stinkies... But that wasn't the worst part.  He had leaked.  All up his back and on his favorite yellow silky blanket.

So at 345 this morning, I had to change his stinky diaper and change his stinky clothes.  Luckily, he had been laying on his yellow blanket, so I didn't have to change his sheets.

By the time I did all that and then fed him, I didn't get back into bed until about 415... And my eyes probably didn't stay shut until 445 or so!  So you know that 545 came way too soon for me!!!

So, point to the story... I feel bad for my little baby boy!!!  His butt is on fire ;)

Anyways, enough about my son and his loosie goosies.

Miss Rowan's dance class went well last night.  She seemed to have such a great time.  Derek and Zach went with us and we all enjoyed watching her.  She tries so hard too!

I have to admit though, I am a little disappointed with the class.  Well, not the class, but the "teachers".  I know they are young and probably teaching the class to get their classes in return, but they should be interested in teaching the little ones.

The whole time they were doing ballet, they practically had the kids goofing off.  They didn't practice their stance or their points or anything.  Most of the time was spent playing a game where they would "dance" around and then when the music stopped, they had to freeze.  They also spent a lot of time trying to get a little girl up off the floor.

This little girl did not want to get up off the floor.  She would slide around on her butt and then lay on her belly and what not.  They wouldn't begin anything until she got up off the floor!!  So they wasted a good 10 mins (total) of the class trying to get this girl up off the floor!

Can you see why I was frustrated?

Oh well.  Rowan enjoys it and if she stops seeming like she does, then I will take her out of it.  But I did get her picture before she went out.  And because I am such a dodo head, I forgot my memory card at home... So that means I can't upload the pictures to share!!

Sorry... Tomorrow, I promise!!!

I want to thank Nae for my wonderful side-bar graphic... Isn't it too cute??  You can visit her graphic J here >>> Made by Nae <<<

Well, I am off to go do some car seat shopping on line.  I need to find new ones for both Zach and Rowan.  Zach is almost 20lbs and that is the cut off for the carrier seats while Rowan just seems way too big for her seat.  Anyone have any preferences???

Have a great Wednesday people!!

~Ah Hem~

::cough cough::

Just thought I'd throw this out again...

I know you all are really going to hate me, but!

                                                Christmas is 81 days away!!!

I'm getting SO EXCITED.  You better start shopping now!  I've already picked up Rowan 4 presents :)

                                      Btw, alerts are still sucking!

Has anyone heard anything about when they are going to be fixed???  If at ALL!?!?!

I swear, this freakin' blows!!!

~I Was Kicked to the Curb~

Okay, so it wasn't the curb.

It was more like the couch...

But I was kicked out!

Kicked out of what you ask?

Well, I was kicked out of my bed!!

I swear, I live with some of the biggest bed hogs in the whole wide world!  Rowan and Derek sleep exactly the same way and that means when all three of us share a bed, I get pushed- literally- to the side!

See, last night was Rowan and Daddy night... Meaning, they were spending special time together.  Watching TV, eating popcorn and wrestling.  Well, he also didn't have the heart to kick her out of our bed so she ended up sleeping with us.

No biggie right?

Wrong.

I woke up at 230 literally hanging on to the edge of the bed.  I looked at my lovely husband and child sleeping sprawled out over the bed and because I didn't have the heart to push either with enough force to get them to move, I decided I'd head to the couch that is in our room.

Now, if you all remember a way back, I slept a lot on the couch when I was pregnant.  So I don't mind it.  In fact, our couch in our room is pretty damned comfy.

But last night was a little bit different.  See, because the weather has been so mild and cool here we have opened up our house (windows).  So, I was sleeping on the couch next to the windows that were open, letting in the breeze.  That wouldn't have been too bad hadn't the fan also been on- HIGH- and that the pool wouldn't have been running.

Ugh!

So, I was a little cold and a little distracted by the running of the spill way from our spa into our pool.  It took me a bit to fall back to sleep...

Then when I did fall asleep, guess who decided to wake up?

Mr. Zachary!!

Luckily, he just wanted a bottle.  So he got his bottle and then proceeded to poop his pants.  That poor baby.  I can't wait until he is off of his antibiotics... He has had the worst luck.  Loosie Goosie diapers at LEAST 3 times a day!  Poor thing... You know I'm slathering on the Diaper Cream too!

But at least he went to sleep right after he was done pooping:)  Made the rest of my night much easier... And he was still asleep when I left my house at 655 this morning.  I just hope he slept in a little bit longer for my mom!

Anyways, enough about my sleepless and poopy night!

I went and got my license plates yesterday.  Thank goodness I had an appointment because the wait for non-appointments was at least an hour!!  So, if you need to go to the DMV people (CAT!! I'm talking to you!!) make an appointment!  It will save you time, I swear.  I got there at 335 and my appointment was at 350... But I walked out the door at 355!  I stood at the counter longer where I was being helped than what I had to wait to be helped.  Does that make sense?  Anyways, the lady that helped me had a hard time getting my plate and doing what she had to do to register it to our Tahoe.  She later explained to me that she had retired for 9 years and just came back 2 years ago, but that her doing my plate was the first time she did one in those 2 years back... Only my luck right??  So she literally had to have someone come over to her desk and help her out not once, not twice, but three times!

She was a very nice lady... And I really didn't mind the wait... Except that I had to PEE so bad... And the DMV bathrooms are NASTY!!

But in the end, I walked out with our plates and right when I got home, Derek put them on for me.  I would have done them on my own... But he offered!

Rowan's gymnastics class went well again last night, once again.  She is truly mastering kart-wheels.  Its funny, because she does them better when there isn't someone (the instructor) helping her do them!  How funny is that?  Guess it just proves to me that she is more independent that I thought!

Tonight is dance class and I know she is excited.  Last night when she got to gymnastics, she wanted to go down the hallway to dance and when I told her no, she was a little bummed.  So I know she'll have fun tonight!

And guess who is going with me to watch her...

Her Daddy.

She told him that she wanted him to come watch her and he is.  Come on everybody, this is where you insert the "Awww..." :)  So lets hope she behaves well tonight... Which I know she will!!

Goodness.  I think I need another vacation.  Really.

I swear, by the middle of each week I am so worn out!

Time for a trip somewhere... That is what I say.

Now just where??

And how do I pay for it... lol.

Okay guys.

I need to get my rear in motion.

I hope each and every one of you have a fab Tuesday!!

::hugs::

~Are You Sure It's Monday???~

I feel like it is Monday.

Seriously.  This whole weekend I was screwed up on my days... So when my alarm went off at 5:40 this morning, I was a little out of it.

I wish it wasn't Monday.

I feel like I need more of a break.

Like I almost didn't get enough rest or a long enough break, you guys get what I mean?

This weekend was busy-busy and I only once felt like I was getting a break...

That was Saturday afternoon when I took a nap with my babies...

A TWO HOUR NAP!!!

Can I get a Woo Hoo??

Yep, after we got home from grocery shopping, a trip to Costco and getting lunch, Rowan, Zach and I took a nap while Derek did some work outside.

OMG.  I can tell you that I so needed that nap too.  All morning long (on Saturday) I felt like crap.  I was sick to my stomach and just wasn't feeling like myself.  I didn't want to eat and I didn't want to do anything!  So when the kids started to act tired, I just took them and put them in bed with me and we were out for 2 hours.

Ah, it was bliss.

That was about the only bliss that I got on Saturday :)

The rest of the day was spent chasing around two children... Rowan is the fastest 3 1/2 year old I know and Zach has mastered the army crawl so well that he has become Speedy Gonzalez!!

Chasing and caring for kids while trying to clean isn't the easiest things to do!  Especially when one of your babies isn't feeling up to par and has decided that he wants to cling to you like a baby monkey!

Yep, Zach has decided that he doesn't like to be put down and never wants to be left alone.

I guess it is the whole seperation anxiety thing that is kicking in.

But I have to say, he did a whole lot better on Sunday with his sleeping thing.

He actually fell to sleep twice on his own yesterday with no problem.  No me rocking him and no having to go back and forth and popping the binky back into his mouth!!

It was nice.

Speaking of yesterday, we had Derek's birthday party.

We just had the family over and bbq'd some tri-tip and had some yummy snack foods.  We watched some football and had cake and cupcakes and ice cream!!

A diet is so calling my name...

Anyways... I'm not going to talk about dieting because I still have birthday cake and cupcakes at home.  I'll think about that when they are gone ;)

But it was nice having everyone over and spending some time with them.  Rowan loves to play with her cousins and boy was she tired last night.  She racked out at 830pm... And she is never asleep that early.  Guess it was good that she didn't have a nap yesterday afternoon!

She was actually so tired this morning that she fell back to sleep on the couch this morning after I left for work.  Derek said he came out to get her dressed and she had crashed out.  Then when he sent her to her room to get dressed she climbed into her bed and got under the covers!

Poor thing.  I'm sure she'll be taking a good nap after she gets home from school today.

She better too because she has gymnastics tonight.  She needs to go!!  And she doesn't need to be a bear when she is there either... So Derek better make sure she takes a good nap!!

This afternoon I have to go to the DMV (eek!) to pick up my personalized plates for the Tahoe.  I have a 350pm appointment there so I hope I can get in and get out really quickly.  I am sure it will help that I have an appointment.  Now, just to get Derek to put the plates on ;)  I went FOREVER with out plates on my PT because he just didn't feel like putting them on!

Well guys, I need to get a going.

Many things to do.  I feel like a chicken with my head cut off... That or someone that is being pulled in all directions!

Have a great Monday Friends.

::Toodles::

PS.  My friend Jolene's journal went Private.  She said to let you know that if you had already stopped by and left a comment in her J that you have been added and that if you'd like to be added now, to please leave a comment in my Journal and she'll add you... Give her some time to do this, because she is very busy with her boys ;)  But I just wanted to let you all know!!

~Getting a Little Hot~

Okay. I'm getting a little Hot under the collar right now.

I don't know about anyone else, but I keep getting Lovely Comments in my journal from people trying to sell their god damned sex sites!!

What kind of BS is this??  Am I the only one??

Seriously, I had to go back into some August entries to block and delete these comments!

I had at least 20 of them!!  Ugh.

I'm fired up... What can we do to stop this?  Anyone have any ideas??

Going to run now.  Gotta clean house for D's party.
