Today, I made a big step in Mommy-hood.

I called and made an appointment to enroll Rowan in Kindergarten!

Yes, can you believe it?

This fall, Rowan will be attending elementary school!  I can't believe it is that time already...

My baby girl is growing up!

So, on March 1st at 830am, Rowan and I will be going to HER NEW SCHOOL (omg!) to do the paperwork and have her tested and what not.

Yeah, so today is a big step!!  I just can't stinkin' believe it!!

awwww I remember when my kids started kindergarten. I cried when they got on the bus and had a great time while they were in school. LOL. It was hard. I'm just kidding. They grow up so fast.

I'm so glad I home school! We did a preschool program for Jacob and that was horrible enough leaving him for 3 hrs, much less half a day or all day (here they go all day).

Congratulations to Ro!!!   I know it's hard...I cried both days my girls started Kindergarten.  Only one more to go until Derek and I have kids of our own!

Oh my gosh, I remember taking my daughter to kindergarten!! I watched the clock the whole day until it was time to pick her up and then we would spend as much time as we could together when we got home. They grow up so fast, hang on the train pulls away faster than you know. (hugs) Indigo

Shelby will be five in May. Where did the time go?

My own Rowan would be fourteen this year...what a beautiful name that is.

So exciting, yet so sad too.  I remember Casey's first day of Kindergarten.  I cried like a baby and was trying to come up with EVERY excuse as to why she didn't need to go to school until she was 6...lol

OMG doesn't it just kill you? Just did the same for Tyler a few weeks ago. I get this funky pain in my stomach when I think about just dropping him off (once he's been through orientation next month and knows where to go, of course). The school has very limited parking and we're not supposed to take the kids all the way to the classroom.  I'll be able to see him go through the front door and then I'll just have to trust that he finds his way ok.  *sigh*  I guess it's better than watching him board a bus on his own. That would totally rip me up! Talk about scary!

I'll be sure to send you a supply of Kleenex in time for the big day. Good job, Mom!
