So Excited!!

Okay, I know ya'll are probably getting pretty tired about me saying how excited I am to be going and do this and going and doing that...

Well, get over it 'cause I have one more new thing to be excited about... lol ;)

Today, I got an email from the HP Pavillion (it is an arena in San Jose) ticket master saying that there was a pre-sale of tickets for "Disney High School Musical: The Ice Tour".

I don't know about any one else... but my daughter loves that movie!  She has a CD with the songs... can watch the movie five times in a row (YES! She has done it!)...

I know the Ice Tour won't have the same people as the movie, but I know she'll enjoy the music and the skating...

So yes, I went online and bought tickets... We are in the VIP section, in the 6th row!!!  I'm so flippin' stoked!  I got tickets for Rowan, Derek and myself... Little Man Zach wouldn't appreciate it like Rowan would... Plus, sometimes, it is nice to do things with just one of them at a time!!

So, now I have a new countdown... lol... October 27th!!  Yeah, it is a ways away, but I know it will be fun!!

This Time Next Week....

I'll be in beautiful Pismo Beach, in a trailer on the Oceano Dunes...

Oh man...

I can't stinkin' wait!!

Until then, I'll be a busy bee with all I have to do!!

Thankfully, I'm sure the week will fly by....

Ah, Pismo, I'll see you in 7 days :)

::sigh::

I don't know what is up with me the last few days, but I'm just not feeling like myself.

I'm hesitant to say that I'm "Down in the Dumps" when sometimes I can be happier than hell, but it just seems like I just have been "sighing" a bit more than usual lately... lol

I really think that I have so much going on in my head... between our two trips, money and making sure we have enough for EVERYTHING, the kids, the house, and anything else that you can think of... I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Thankfully the kiddos are my (mostly) saving grace lately.  Zachary is blooming more and more every day.  He is coming up with new words and doing new things that make me smile daily!

The other night, Rowan and I came home from her gymnastics class and shopping and he was waiting at our storm/screen door, sitting on a stool, watching for us.  He ran outside and said, "Mommy, YAY!!" and came running up to give me a hug.  My heart just melted... and melted even more when he said, "RoRo, YAY!!".  haha.  I guess he loves his sissy too :)

Then later that night, Derek had pushed in our big bean bag (it is a huge bean bag from LoveSac) and Zach goes, "Yay! Bean Bag!" and runs and jumps onto it.  Then he proceeds to tell me - in his baby voice and words - "Dada Push. Push".  But his "Push" sound more like, um, "Puss".  LMAO!  So it sounded like he was saying, "Dada Puss" instead of "Dada Push".  haha.

And of course my Rowan is becoming such a little lady.  She is excelling by leaps and bounds in gymnastics.  It makes me so proud to watch her.

She is getting ready for kindergarten too.  We have enrolled her in the local elementary and they put on a program for their incoming kindergardners, to get them ready for school.  It is a really good program, every Thursday for 6 weeks.

The only thing I'm having a problem with her lately is her attitude.  She thinks she is going on 15 instead of being 5... ugh.  It's a bit rough... but I'm sure we'll get back to normal soon enough :)

We have 10 more days of being home and then we'll be leaving for our Pismo trip.  Next week is going to go by quickly between getting everything ready for our trip, work, Zach's 2 year check up and getting the kids' hair cuts.

I've been checking the weather every day through weather.com to see what we should be expecting weather wise down there.  So far, it looks good.  I just hope it doesn't rain... and if it does, I hope it doesn't last too long!!

I can't wait though.  I think I need a break from reality.  Ha!  Being in a trailer on the beach, 100 yards away from the ocean, with my kids and husband, a good book and the sun... Oh, I can't wait!!

Yet, secretly (guess not so secretly if I'm telling you all) I'm really wanting it to be May... I can't wait to go to Disneyland and see my kids there!!!

Okay, enough rambling... I know I need to get my butt going ::sigh::  Have a great day, ya'll.

Getting Closer...

So, we have 19 more days until we leave for Pismo for one of the two Family Vacations we have planned for this year.

I'm getting a bit excited and a bit overwhelmed with everything that I have to do to get ready for both trips...

::side note... Disneyland is 54 days away... but it will be here before we know it::

Pismo is one of the most beautiful places to go to, in my opinion.  We will be camping out in a trailer for 5 nights on the beach.  It is so peaceful - except for when people decide to ride their ATV's during the night - and the kids have a blast with the sand and the toys.

This might sound anal retentive, but I've already done a spread sheet planning out our menu and with all the groceries that we'll need to buy for the trip... not to mention a spread sheet for everything that we'll need to bring and need to pack.

Five days in a trailer can get kinda cramped... especially if it decides to rain on us... lol.  But lets hope that the weather can continue to go as it is now... ::beautiful weather in the high 70's today::

The only sucky thing is about getting ready for the trip is that Derek works the 4 days up until we leave!!  That means that I'll be doing most of the packing and what not unless he happens to get the day off before we leave... Ah, can you see why I am already planning?

As for the Disneyland trip... I've already made the reservations for our dinner the first night we get there - Rainforest Cafe - and for our Character Breakfast's (Lilo & Stich for Monday and Minnie & Friends for Wednesday) and Princess Lunch on Tuesday.  Derek wanted to eat at the ESPN Zone too... so I made the reservation for that too for the Wednesday after we are there.  I'm glad you can call so far in advance because the Princess Lunch only had two available times for that day!!  I knew it is popular, but I was a bit taken back by that.

I also have to do shopping for that trip.  I found out this weekend (when it hit 82 degrees!!) that Miss Rowan has NO summer clothes that fit her... Last summer she was in a 4/5T and this spring/summer she'll be in a 5 girls... and yes, you know there is a difference.

Thankfully I've already been doing some budgetting for the tax return money we are getting on Friday (can I get a woo hoo!) and I'll be able to take some for each of us to get new clothes... and thankfully there are stores out there like Target and Kohls that I can get good kid clothes that are pretty inexpensive... I'm sure I'll walk out of those places pretty happy.

But until the time gets closer... I'll just keep getting more excited and keep planning... 'Cause that is just the way I am... haha
