~Seriously~
Seriously.
I don't know how the women and men deal when their loved ones are gone over seas for years at a time...
I have a hard time dealing when my husband is gone for a week... only 4 hours away...
Its crazy.

It's all relative Jenn. Being a military spouse isn't easy, but you do what you have to do. John would leave for months at a time and Casey and I would make do. You would do it to if you had to. Being that your husband is never gone, this week will feel like forever to you. Only 4 more days!!!!
The longest my husband is ever gone is a week, on business, a few times a year. Sometimes I tag along (I hate it when he's away). I think back to my mother...my dad was in the military and would be gone for months at a time and she would be alone with my brother and I. I would forget about my Dad and would cry when this strange man would come back into our house and try to hug me. I was afraid of him. I feel lucky my guy is only gone a week. Very lucky.
Before moving here to Las Vegas my husband came out here to find a job and a house for us to buy and he ended up here for 3 months, while I was back home in NJ...it was the longest 3 months of my life...it makes you appreciate what you have that's for sure.

It's tough, but he'll be home soon! :)
I hear you. My husband leaves for a Canada trip once a year for 7 days. It is hard. Good Luck!
OMG, Jenn, my days are mixed up. Duh, Anna, on my last comment. I forgot what day today is! (the 28th)
Hope he is home already, and you are doing well. :)
