So, we are ready. Ready to get on the road to the Happiest Place on Earth.
I think we all - well, at least the kids and I - will have a bit of a time sleeping tonight because we are so excited.
Our bags our almost packed.
Our rain ponchos are ready to go. I even picked up a plastic rain cover for the stroller... that way Zach didn't have to sit in a wet stroller. I really don't think the rain will keep us from having a great time.
Really, I'm only worried about traveling over the Grapevine tomorrow. Supposedly, we are looking at some nasty weather for that area. High winds combined with low temps and rain could equal a messy time. I'm hoping none of that hinders us getting over...
As for the weather report... I've seen a few different forecasts. Anywhere from raining the whole time we are there... to raining on Sunday and Monday... to a few showers each day we are there. I've been checking the weather forecast on www.abc7.com - the local Los Angeles TV station... It looks like Los Angeles and Ventura Counties are expecting some bad stuff... thankfully, Disneyland is in Orange County.
::gah:: I'm obsessed, aren't I?
Anyways, we are ready. We are ready to see Mickey and Minnie. The Princesses on Tuesday for breakfast... to have dinner at the Blue Bayou, which is in the middle of the Pirate of the Caribbean ride... we are just ready to see it all decorated for Christmas...
But most of all... we are ready to spend some time away from the normal life... and to spend time together as a family.
Please wish us all the luck in the world with the weather... I can deal with some rain... showers and drizzle... but down pours will kill it all for us.
Have a fantastic weekend and week friends... We'll be bringing the computer down with us... so check back for pictures and updates!!

If the counter-clockwise low currently centered over Montana moves out, most of the really heavy stuff should (should) stay north of you guys.
Hey! It's only rain, right? Just think how short the lines will be. :)
Fun is what you make of it.
Have a fabulous time..can't wait to hear all about it and see pics!!
Hugs
Terri

Hope you're having (had?) fun! It did rain but not nearly as much as expected. Hope it was the same in the OC. Merry Christmas!
