It is totally hot here today.  I can't believe I was freaking complaining about summer not being here only a few weeks ago, because now I'm wishing it would hurry up and leave.

It is about 102 right now, and it is supposed to hit 107 before today (this evening) is over.  Can you believe that?  I don't remember it being this hot last summer, but hey, I guess its a good thing because I might have decided to uproot and move to a much cooler place...

I've got a sick heady for the 4th day in a row.  I'm in a Bummer Mood and just really wanting to sit on the couch and read my new book...

But Zachary is cranky.  Not sure why, but he has been for a few days now.  He is not running a fever and his heart is beating just fine... So, I'm not sure what it could be.  The doctor the other day told me that there was no such thing as "teething", so I'm not going to say he is.

I think he might have a Sour Belly though.  He has spit up more than once today and it just reeks!!  I'd have to say, baby spit up is so not my choice of perfume :ox

Rowan is getting stir crazy.  Its too hot for her to go outside and play until like 815pm.  But geeze, who wants to play then?  And it is so hard to enjoy the pool when its just me at home... And when the pool is freaking 86 degrees :)  lol.  Zach hasn't really taken to being in the pool... Yet.  But I'm hoping he'll start to like it because I'm so needing to be in there!!  Shoot, I'm getting stir crazy.

Derek is working again tonight.  Mom and Dad headed off to San Fran yesterday morning and they aren't expected home until this evening... So, its just me and the kiddos tonight.

I am thinking I really need a nap.  That or a tall glass of cold milk and some cookies.  Hmmm, Yes, I be thinking that is what I need.  And I'm thinking I'll try to do both.  Both kids are napping, so I am going to endugle in my sweet tooth and then possibly take a little-nappy-nap.

Sorry to bitch and complain ya'll... But it is so gosh darned HOT and it really can make you 'short' :o)

~Icky Heat, Harry Potter and Purple Hair~

Man, I wish I was "chillin" because right now, I'm seriously freakin baking!!  Its about 106 degrees outside.  You instantly start sweating as soon as you walk out the gosh-darned door and you are struck with a Sick Headache if you are outside too long!  Seriously, I would say that it is almost too hot to go outside to get into the pool.  Besides, the pool is almost too hot to get in.  Its about 86 degrees!  Thats a Mildly Warm Bath... Geeze, or a Semi Heated Hot Tub! :0

Anyways, you all get my point.  Its hot and I'm bitching and thats never fun.  So, I'll get on with it.

This morning I was able to sleep in until 8am!!  Can you say "WOO HOO"?  Yes, it was nice and it actually helped that Mr. Zachary woke up at 330 this morning to have his bottle and didn't stir until a little after 8am.  Nice huh??

Well, anyways, Rowan and I went to Borders this morning to pick up "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".  Silly me, thinking that because it was "Such A Big Day" that they'd be open at 835am.  Nah, they weren't.  They didn't open until 9!  Oh well, Rowan and I sat around and listened to Gwen Stefani's "L.A.M.B" until it was almost time to go in.

I picked up my book (Thanks Mom for pre-ordering it for me!!) and purchased a Disney Princess book for Rowan.  She was extremely happy to get it!  I never get tired of making her happy or seeing her smile.

I'm only about 4 pages into the new book, but once the kiddos go down tonight, I will be reading away... Derek thinks I will finish it in less than a week.  I'm not sure, but its not that big.  Its only 652 pages, so it wouldn't be that hard to finish in less than a week, but unless I can't find the time, then it won't happen.

Anywho, I went yesterday with my mom to get our hair done.  I decided that I'd go even funkier than before and put in a new color in my hair.  Yep, I put in PURPLE streaks :)  Yippee!!  It is soooo cute.  And yes, I will be posting pictures.  Just give me a few days, okay!

Well, Rowan is watching "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and wanting some lemondae, which does sound pretty Yummy, so, I think I'll head out.  Not to mention, Zach is mucho cranky!!

~Ramblings, Sickies and Zach Update~

I'm so happy that today is Thursday.  I am so super tired, that I'm actually wishing that I could just climb into bed and then sleep for 12 hours straight, no freaking interuptions.  But geeze, there is no reason for me to be tired, unless my brain is bored...

I was asleep by 10pm last night and was woken up to a baby cooing next to me at 530 this morning.  No worries, I'm usually up at 540 anyways.  I guess I might have slept "too hard" because I really feel like I didn't get enough sleep.  Oh well.... Life goes on and you really don't need to hear me bitching anymore!

So, my dear husband is sick.  He is such a big baby... I even asked his mother (whom I work with, remember) what she did to him to make him such a 'Baby'... lol!  He is finally going to the doctors this morning at 1145 after me basically being a Bitch to him and telling him he has to go!!  See, Derek doesn't get sick all that often, but when he does, he gets SICK.  Like full-blown-sick.  Like, lay in bed, throat swollen and coughing, sick...

"I'm dying" sick... "He's a Baby" sick... lol

So, hopefully, the doctor will give him some meds and get his body back on track, because I can't live with that butt head anymore :o)

Zachary had his Well-Baby check up yesterday afternoon.  Besides it being one million degrees outside- okay, not really- everything went pretty well.  He is now weighing 16lbs 2.5oz and is almost 26 inches long.  Gosh!  He is getting HUGE.  We didn't see his normal PCP because she is out on Maternity Leave (dumb lady that she is...) but this really awesome male doctor.  He kinda reminded me of a Big Ol' Teddy Bear... He told Zachary that he made a mistake, because he was an interesting patient.  I guess he said that because he was looking at his chart (that is about 1inch in height!!) for so long.  He was really nice and Zach seemed to like him.  He even found us some tylenol (NEW BOX!!) to give to him before he got his shots.  I'm thinking I might look into having Zach see him from now on.

He did okay with his shots though.  Not too fussy and hasn't seemed to run a "fever" yet.  He was a little warm last night, but who is to say if it was from the shots or from it being Hot.  I've just been giving him tylenol and hopefully that will help.

Zachary goes and see's his cardiologist tomorrow at 330pm.  I'm sure we'll be having fun there... He hates to sit still while they do his EKG and then have the sticky pads ripped off of him.  I've found that if I bring a bottle and feed it to him while he has it done, then it somewhat takes him mind off of it.

Oh well, he's gotta do it... Thats all that is important and that matters.  More than likely, we'll be seeing him for every month for the next 8 months and then slowly tapper off... But I'm guessing he'll have to see that doctor long into childhood.

I also get to get my hair done tomorrow morning!!  Yippee... I need a trim because my hair feels like it weighs 100lbs.  Haha.  I have so much hair and on top of that, its thick... Ugh, no fun when its 105degrees out!!  I'm going to talk to her about putting the pink back into my hair... As long as it stays this time!!  I was disappointed that it was only really visible for just about 3 days or so.  Hopefully she can figure something out where it can stay in for longer...

Because I want it in my hair for 31st...

"What is the 31st?" You say... Well, my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Amy, invited me to go with her to see Hoobastank and Uncle Cracker at the Stanislaus County Fair!!  I keep counting down the days until our next "Girls Night Out"... lol!!

Ugh!  I gotta go to Target, again, today!  When I went last week to pick up formula and what not, they only had the small 10oz cans.  Well, that would be fine and dandy if my child didn't consume 6-7 ounces of formula every 4 hours!  So, we are on the last can... Plus, Zach is needing diapers (soooo expensive for something you "piss" away) and other tolietries that they know you need, so they jack up the price!!  Oh well, guess I gotta feed and diaper my child, right??

Gotta jet ya'll... Time to actually do something at work, because I need the cash-flow!!

No, this isn't my bed.  Lol.  Mine is nothing at all like that- thank god.  But doesn't it look comfy??  See, right now, I'm willing to climb into anyones bed- an empty one that is- to get some extra sleep!!

I don't know what the deal is, but my Zach isn't sleeping in as long as he was for a while.  Last night, he was asleep by 815 last night and was Wide Awake at 450 this morning.  Yes, I know he slept a good 8 hours, but he used to sleep until at least 6am.  I'm used to my sleep now... He had me spoiled :)  Oh well.  Hopefully this is just a "growth spurt" and he needs more in his belly...

Oh yes, I have a Haha from Rowan that I want to share with you all.  No, she didn't get stuck on the potty for 30 mins like last time.  LMAO.  Last night, as I was putting her to bed, I told her that if she slept the whole night in her bed that I would buy her something.  Yes, I admit it, I was bribing her.  Well, she asks me "Like what?" and I said something to the affect of, "How about a new Build-A-Bear".  Well, she just looked at me for a moment and shakes her head, points to her hand and says, "Nooo.  A Diamond Ring!!"  OMG!!  I just started laughing... She just looked at me like "What? What did I say??"  I asked her what she said and she repeated the whole thing!  "A diamond ring Mommy!"  Goodness, my child is learning early, isn't she??

Today, Mr. Zachary has his Well Baby check-up.  Which means, he'll be getting Shots!!  Poor baby.  Last time, he was so mad that I thought he'd pass out because he seemed to holdhis cry so long!!  Derek is supposed to meet me at the doctors office, to drop him off.  I told him to make sure he gives him some tylenol before he leaves, that way he doesn't run too much a fever and has a pain reducer already in his system.

Today isn't his only doctors appointment either.  He goes to the cardiologist on Friday for another check up.  I'm sure that will be fine.  He will have to have an EKG and the doc takes his blood pressure and listens to his heart.  But that is about it.  He'll definetly up his meds, because how much he gets depends on his weight.  And the boy is a Chunko :D

Goodness, its hot!!  Its only 930am and its just about 85 degrees!!  By 1pm today, it will be 95!  Ugh... This whole week, it will be anywhere from 101-105 degrees!  Thank goodness I have a swimming pool :D

Which, I will be using today.  Amy is going to come over this afternoon after I return from Zach's appointment to swim and do laps with me.  I'm going to try for my 80, if not more.  Just as long as my shoulder doesn't blow out on me again!

Well, I'm done for now.  I am waaayyy behind on my work.  I guess I sat around with my finger up my nose too much yesterday- not literally folks!!

Gosh, I wish it was Thursday already.  I really enjoyed the short week that I had last week... I only worked 3 days and will be paid for 4- thanks to the Holiday!!  My mind is just not wanting to wrap itself around the idea of working today.  I'm so tired today.  Zach decided he would get up at 515 this morning and I couldn't get him back to sleep.  So, at 530 I rolled out of bed and got a bottle for him and that was the end of my sleeping.  I wish I could just be back home, in bed with the kiddo (Ro) and Derek (Zach doesn't like sleeping in bed for some reason). 

But alas, I can't go home.  I have too much to do here at work!!  I didn't get much done yesterday, don't know why, but I didn't.  So, I guess I'll be playing "Catch-Up" with work today.

Okay guys, I know some of you were asking to see pics from the wedding this weekend, but don't think I'm a tard or anything, because I didn't take any!!  I was so flustered and nervous - long story- about going to the wedding, that I totally forgot to take before pics and bring my camera!!  So Sorry Charlie's.

I wish I did have pictures though, because seeing "Pie-Eyed" (thank you Lisa) pics are crack-ups and I had such a good time...

I am feeling better today though.  I still have a tid-bit of a headache, but truly, I think that is from not drinking any (none-zip-zippo) water yesterday.  So, hopefully after I down a few bottles of water, I'll start to feel better...

Yesterday I had to go to the Doctors... Fun Stuff that is, I'm sure all you women can relate.  Anyways, I was happy and disappointed all at the same time when I got on the scale.  I was happy that I hadn't gained any weight, but disappointed when I saw that I haven't lost any.  Goodness, I really need to do something about it... I'm having a hard time sticking to any diet and making myself work out.  Its too damn hot to go walking and by the time I get home, I'm too tired to do anything!!

I guess I just have to slap myself around and make myself do it... Cause truthfully, I'm not happy were I am.  I want to be back to wear I was BEFORE I had Rowan... Thats a long ways away, but I'm sure if I actually stuck to what I need to do, I could eventually get there.

Anyways, enough about me and my bitching...

Miss Rowan had gymnastics last night.  It was good for her to get back into it... They didn't have it last week, because of the Holiday... She so needed to have fun with other kids- like she doesn't get enough of that at PreSchool!  She did pretty well at the class though.  She seemed a little tired and wasn't listening all that well, to me that is... But she had a good time.

After Ro's gym class, I went to my friend's house that just had a baby last Wednesday.  Well, her baby is in the NICU over at a hospital in Modesto.  He was born with the condition that every organ in his body is opposite of where it is supposed to be.  Well, because he has that condition, his Cillia (the hairs in his lungs) aren't working correctly and he has fluid built up in his lungs.  So, they are home with out him and she has been pumping.  Well, I told her not to buy a pump, because the good ones are expensive, that she can just go ahead and borrow mine.  So, I took that, a pack of diapers too small for my Chunko and an outfit (brand new and too small for Z) over to her.  I did get to see pictures of him, he is adorable. But seeing them brought so many memories back from Zach in the hospital.  I am going to try to go to the hospital today to see him... Hopefully he'll come home by next week sometime!

Okay guys... I've lolly-gaged enough and really need to get my butt into gear.  SO, I must go now...
