That definitely sucks! It's been years since we've done that. My first two cars I had the help from my brother and my mom and dad to pick them out and not get ripped off. With our truck it was just B and I, and sometimes I feel like maybe we got ripped off a bit. That day we bought his truck was such a mess. They didn't want to add him to my insurance plan, b/c he was in the military. It was a nightmare! Anyways....good luck!
I know what you mean. We bought a 2006 Chrystler Pacifica with the works, our car payment a month is $500 and our insurance is almost $200 so that is $700 a month on a friggen car. i think it is BS but... gotta do it to have a nice car and not worry about not having a car at all. They jack up those prices becaue they know it will sell, everyone needs a car! You can get my dream car if u want.... Cadillac Escalade but in black ok =)
I hope things get better, I just read what happend, I know how it feels having to look for a different car since I totalled mine a little over a month ago, I ended up getting a small loan and buying my brothers car since it would be easier. Take care Kerri

Maybe you should just go all out, blow your wad, and come home with a really nice Lexus SUV or something. :)
