Well, I looked at my pictures that I had already uploaded and this one picture kept popping up.

In fact, it does't just pop up on my computer, but also at home!  Not in picture form, mind you.  But with Rowan.

I've told this story before and posted this picture on my other J ::And One More Thing::, but Rowan is absolutely in love with this red sweater.

If you send her to her room to get herself dressed, this is more than likely what you'll see when she gets out (give or take the green skirt!):
             
She is just too darn funny!!  Never fails, I swear!!  The Red sweater always comes out!

So, its Monday and I so didn't want to get out of bed this morning!!  I slept like ca-ca last night... Up at 2am to take some pain meds- my back was killing me and so was my toe (long story!!).  Then I tossed and turned for the rest of the night.  It was horribly hot in my house... Even with the windows open and the fan on high, it was sweltering!!

Yuck Yuck...

I swear, I would have thought I was living in Florida or something with the humidity built up in my house!!  I was freaking dying :D

Hmm, I'm so not all here this morning.  I really don't feel like being at work either.

I guess because its Monday or what not...

In other news, there is no other news...

Haha...

I didn't do squat yesterday to report on... And the only other thing I can think of is that Ro has gymnastics tonight and I'm glad, because even with swimming yesterday, she was bouncing off the walls!

The kid needs more energy outlets or she is bound to drive me crazy!! :D

Gosh...

You know guys, I'm freaking sorry... But truthfully, I don't know what else to say today... Maybe later when my head isn't so foggy, I'll have more to say!!

But I'm not going to drag you all anymore through the mud, so have a great day...

Just blame my foggy head on the Monday morning...

~Stopping In~

Just stopping in to say hello.

My day has been filled with a walk, a trip to the dump,pizza lunch and then a nap.

I'm so not complaining!

We were out of the house this morning at 830am and went on a 2.5 mile walk.  It was me, the kiddos and my parents.  Derek isn't much of a walker, even though I did invite him.  He stayed in bed and was still there when we got back :)

In fact, he was still there even after my dad and I made a trip to the dump!  Yeah, we had to go drop a load of green waste and a few pieces of trash too big to fit into our garbage can... I swear, they are too small!

When we got back, Derek requested that I call and place an order at Pizza Hut because he was 'craving pizza'.  Hmm, what is he, pregnant??  (that is what my father said, not me!!) So, because I had a coupon, we got two medium pan crust pizza's for a whole $14!!  Not bad huh??

Of course, I was a tib-bit bad and enjoyed just two pieces of pizza.  Two is nothing really bad, because long ago, I'd eat maybe 4 or 5, just because.  I swear, Pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut is just as evil as chocolate to me... its all about their crust, I'm guessing.

Well, after I ate and after the kids ate, Rowan was sent to nap.  And I thought to myself, "Self, why don't YOU go take a nap too?"  So I did.  I grabbed up Little Man and walked to my room, climbed into bed, and with in minutes, we were both out!

That was somewhere around 1250pm or so.  I eventually woke up at 2pm to give him his meds and then after that, we were both back to sleep until 3!!  Goodness, I think my body was trying to tell me something.  What do you think??

I did stay up a little later than usual last night.  I just had to finish the book I was reading (started it on Tuesday, mind you!!) called, "Something Blue" by Emily Giffin.  It was the conclusion to her first book that I purchased up in Sacramento (while there with Zach) called "Something Borrowed".  Let me tell you, I'm really not into the whole 'chick' books, but they were really good.  Actually, they aren't all that "romancy-chick" stuff, so you might want to check them out!

Now I'm reading "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner (check out her link, its another webblog!!).  I'm not too far into it, but it has to do with her reading an article written by her ex-boyfriend, saying something that he was "Loving a Larger Woman" and that she was "Good in Bed" hence the title.  I'll let you all know how it is when I finish it in a few days.  I have to have it done before the new Harry Potter book comes out!!!

Okay, well, Little Man is getting restless on his PlayMat and Rowan is eating all the M&M's out of the trail mix, so I better go snag that from her!

Plus, I better check on Derek who is outside attempting to fix a broken water pipe frome the sprinklers... And I just know he is getting frustrated.  Maybe a cold one will help him out :)

~Short Friday Hi~

I just wanted to drop in and say Hello to all my J-Land friends.

Today has been a great day so far... I just love my Fridays :) 

I was able to sleep in this morning until 815!!  Woo Hoo... Well, actually, that was after waking up at 550am to feed Zach and give him his meds.  But hey, I was able to go back to sleep.

I enjoyed that part the best because I was able to snuggle up with both Rowan and Zachary!!  Let me tell you.  Zach rarely sleeps in my bed, so to have him in there with both Rowan (who slept in her room from 930pm-2am!!) and I was a nice treat...

Then this morning, my mom and I went and got our pedicures and full sets of nails.  Let me tell you, learning how to type with nails (all over again!) is pretty difficult.  I've already had to make so many "backspaces", it isn't even funny!

After our nail appointment, my mom and I went grocery shopping... And then from there, we stopped at the pre-school that Rowan will be attending... If we can ever get her signed up!!  They director wasn't there, so the girl working wasn't able to give us anything but information.  We want to sign her up and pay the deposit!!  She needs to go to pre-schol... bad :) 

And after all that, it basically brings me to here.  Rowan is napping with Derek, who had been up for 18 hours!!  And Zach is playing on his mat... So, I thought I'd drop in and make an apperance in J-Land... lol...

But as I even type this, Zach is getting frustrated at his giraffe on his mat, so I know my time is limited!!

Guess it will be another short entry for you all.. Sorry :)  Going to go brighten the smile on Zach's face and then do some reading.. I just love reading!!

Anywho...

Today at 330pm, marks the begining of my weekend.  I'm really excited about that too, because Derek is off (or semi-off) this weekend!

Tomorrow morning, my mom and I are going for pedicures and manicures.  I haven't had a pedicure since I got married (in 2003 people!!) and have not had nails since last spring!  So, I'm really stoked about that... Plus, my mom and I get to spend some "Girl Time" together.

I was hoping that Derek and I could go and do something, like another date or so.  But he is so busy with work, it isn't even funny!  I don't mind all that much, because OT means extra ca$h in our pockets, but I would like to spend some time with thim :)  He is supposed to be off tonight, but is working graves (9pm-7am)... Then tomorrow morning, he'll be serving a search warrant... So, that means when he does get home tomorrow- when ever that may be- he'll probably be spending the most of the day sleeping!!!

So, no time with him tomorrow... Maybe Saturday if I'm lucky... lol...

My mom and I went for another walk last night.  That means that we've walked between 5-6 miles in the last two days!  We are going again tonight for another one.  We've decided that we'll be walking Tuesday-Fridays, with an option of walking the weekend mornings, but that isn't required (by me!!).  So, if we do between 2-3 miles each day, that is a total of 8-12 miles of walking in a four day period!!  Pretty good, if you do ask me! 

Hopefully, with my sensible diet and walking, I'll start to see a difference in my body... either in inches or weight...

I know its going to take time, but I'll like to see something soon!! :)

Okay, so Mother Nature is still Nucking Futs... It is a whole 64 degrees and still sprinkling outside.  I just can't believe it!  I'm totally ready for hot weather... Not this muggy shite that is going on!  I swear, you could have just sat outside last night and started sweating.  I thought this was California, not some place in the South!  Geeze...

Man, my eyes have been burning so bad lately.  I don't know if it has to do with them running jalapenos at the plant or from me being tired or something... Who knows, maybe something in the air just outside is bugging me too.  But goodness, I can't take it... I wish I had drops!!

Well, I've gotta go spend some company money... Time to run checks and send them out.  oh so fun...

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday... I hope my Thursday is wonderful too... And not so boring :)

~Playing With the Camera and Ramblings~

Rowan and I were playing with the camera on Monday, before we were heading off to gymnastics.  Some of them were so cute, I thought I'd share them with you.

We were outside, watering the plants when she decided she was going to climb onto the car and be silly.  So, I took the chance and grabbed the camera.  And of course, she became the ham that I know oh-so-very-well!

this is the last picture of her on the car... I made her get off, even though she was having a good time... I didn't want the neighbors thinking I was weird for taking her pic up there :)

She is the cutest little thing... So hard to say "No" to her too.  Right now, she is just in love with the idea of the "Ice Cream Cone" (Ice Cream Man).  She has the best hearing and will literally here her (yes, a lady drives the truck) when she is about two blocks away.  And when she gets closer, she'll tell me to get my money and will literally run out the front door!!  So, you can see why it is so hard to tell her no.  She is a sweet girl... And when I do tell her no, that she can't have ice cream that night, she'll wave to the gal from our frontroom window!  Can we all say, "Awww..."  Told you. 

Once I did finally get her dressed and her hair done for gymanastics class, I was able to get her to show me her Muscles!  Yes, the little girl that she is, is cut and toned more than you think she would be.  The pictures here can give you a little idea, but truthfully, they don't do her justice.

She then decided that she wanted to turn the camera on me... I'm reluctant to share these, but hey, if you can't be truthful with who you really are... then all you are is a lie, right?

See, there is Ms. Pickle... In all her glory... Or no glory if need be... No makeup or nothing... Wow... Can't believe I'm sharing these :)  Oh well... Now you all know, the real me... haha

Oh yes.  At the doctors office yesterday, Zachary was loving on his blanket when the doctor came in.  He proclaimed that Zach looked like a prince with his blanket.  See, on one side its this really soft material and the other side is this slippery soft side.  And, it is bright yellow.  A very royal color, needless to say.
     
This blanket is his new favorite thing.  He just brightens up when it gets any where near him!  He loves to bring it to his face and put it in his mouth.  In fact, he gets it so slobbery that he has now made his face chapped!!  He loves it... And he will actually rather have that then use a binkie... But he still uses one, sorta...

Too bad this picture wasn't of his face, because he looks so peaceful when he is sleeping. 

Shoot, what else can I ramble on about this morning??  Oh!  Get this.  The weather here is just Nucking Futs I tell ya.  It is RAINING!!!  Yes, I said raining... It is around 57 degrees and pouring rain.  I can't believe it.  And this Sunday, well, get this, it is going to be close to 90 degrees!!  Holy Cow.  I think Mother Nature is drunk or something!  Haha...

Well, I'm going to run.  Nothing much else to say.  Got a month to close out and there is some stuff to do.  I hope you all have a wonderful Hump Day... lol... Hump... haha...
