A year ago, we almost lost our son.
Just at the very tender age of 3 weeks old... Mr. Zachary Justice got very sick. We didn't know what was wrong with him for a good 2 weeks and then finally, on March 17th, 2005.... he became very sick and was put into the hospital for 12 days...

So, obviously, I'm pretty proud of how far my little man has come....
I guess you all can tell that we got home safely from Pismo as well. We had a wonderful time...
Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away yesterday afternoon. I was glad I was home and not in Pismo when it happened. My mom and dad were with him... and he went quietly.
So, if you don't see me around for a while, its probably because we are busy dealing with that...

I'm sorry about your grandfather. Having just gone through it myself a few months back, I know exactly how you feel.
I'm glad things with Zach are so much better now and that he's a healthy, happy boy!

So sorry to hear about your granddaddy passing. My heart goes out to you and your family sweety.
I remember those days with Zachary being so sick. It was scary waiting for an update from you and running to check my email every hour or so to see if you text messaged me. I was a worry wort for sure! But, look at him now!!! A far cry from those days that's for sure. Give him an extra special hug from his Auntie Lisa all the way in Connecticut. ;)

Oh Pickles, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I know this is said a million times over, but I truly believe he is in a better place and finally at peace. I hope you all find some peace in his passing as well.

The story of your Zach turning 1 and the timing of it with the passing of your grandfather just shows how life works, one generation to the next. I was so sorry to read of your loss, because I know what a wonderful family you have, and that his loss will be greatly felt by all of you. My sincerest condolences to you and your folks. I'm glad you were fortunate to be at home when the time came.
