~Pismo Pictures~

     WedsunsetResized.jpg

We had a wonderful time in Pismo... the sand and shore were beautiful and thankfully the weather held out for us- well, most of the time.

The drive down there was a little longer than we were used to.  It usually takes us 3.5hrs to get there... but because we were going with another family that was hauling a Weekend Warrior with 4 quads in it, it took a bit longer due to going slower.

It was okay though... we didn't have to be anywhere... plus, we stopped twice which was nice for both us and the kids.

The first day/night we were there, the wind was horrible.  It kicked sand up underneath the trailers and into our faces.  Thankfully when the sun went down it died down... and thank goodness for our big ol' bonfires!!

As you can see from the pictures, we did get a storm in... Tuesday.  It rained for a good 4hrs and also brought in a high tide.  From the end of our trailer, the water was maybe 100 yards away.  Pretty neat... and pretty scary all at the same time.  We kept hoping there wouldn't be any out of control waves.

The kids had a wonderful time in Pismo.  Rowan loved walking in the ocean with her rain boots while collecting shells... and riding in the Rhino... which is a type of ATV.

And Zach... well, Zach liked the sand... as you will see :)

We can't wait to do the camping on the beach thing again... such a blast!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures of Pismo and the few random ones I threw in too ;)

Hugs,
~Jenn~

The sunset pictures are gorgeous Jenn!!  I love the pink hat!  Hats are awesome!!  I bet those dunes were perfect for riding that ATV!  I didn't know you could rent a camper trailer like that but imagine it's the way to go!!  What a perfect getaway!  Hugs to you and thanks for sharing those great pictures.

This looks like a lot of fun ~ the beach, the water the sand, the sand and more sand....I'm sure you found it in all kinds of places after the kids had played in it all day, but they LOVE it!
It's times like these that the kids will always remember.
Darling pictures!!

Beans, ey?  If I gave those to Autumn, she'd probably blow a hole in her crib mattress.  LOL  She is the gassiest little thing.  And independent.  She WILL NOT let me feed her at all anymore.  She has to do everything herself.

The pictures were great.  And yes...it was quite obvious Zach liked the sand.  LOL
The sunsets were amazing.  I can see why you like it there.  Seems very quiet.

Thanks for sharing!

What lovely pictures!  Zach was lovin' that sand, wasn't he?  And, all those places he found to hide?! lol

Pismo Beach?  Not sure where that is, so I will have to look it up on a map.  I should know, being as I live in Southern California... but then, you're in Central Cali, right?  AT any rate, it's sure nice living in California where you can pretty much go to the beach all year round, right?
