I'm Sooo Confused!! And Frustrated!!

Okay... I want to start putting pictures in my entry... Like SloMo or the AOL Journal Guy "By The Way".  I've tried to read the directions and find out how to do it... But the more I try and the less that I succeed... I start to get more and more frustrated!!  UGH! UGH! UGH!

Anyways... Since I can't figure out how to do it (maybe its the blonde hair)... I've put some pictures up in the other part ::boo hoo::

SO, the pictures are just some random ones that I took of Rowan today.  She decided that she wanted to try to take a nap in Daddy's new Love Sac.  If you haven't seen a Love Sac before, they are kinda like a bean bag... But made of Durafoam!  Oh, so, comfortable!  And expensive!!  Depending on the size of the sac and what kinda of cover you get... You are looking at anywhere from $115-$600!!

Well, Rowan didn't nap in the Love Sac.  But I did campture some pics of her pretending to...  She is just too funny... Always wants to see the pics after you take them... Too smart for a 2 1/2 year old!

Today wasn't a very busy day... Rowan and I had lunch with a friend here at our house... Hot Dogs and Chips... Num Num... Then it was time to fold and do laundry.  Oh! So! Fun!

Tomorrow we are off to see my Grandmother, Rowan's Great-Grandmother.  Rowan is her only great-grandchild (she is 87).  But her and my grandfather are very excited about the new one coming along.  If all goes well with them... In March of 2005, they'll be the proud Great-Grandparents of another baby!  I swear, they treat Rowan a whole lot different than they treated my brother and I... Hmm, could they be doing things different for a reason???

Well, I guess it is about time to head off!  Rowan is asking for dessert and then I'm sure it will be time for a bath!  TTFN

ps. If anyone could possibly help me with the whole picture thing... I would be SOO GREATFUL!

Happy Birthday AOL Journals...

Well, Happy Birthday AOL Journals... Its been 1 year already.... Congradulations to all that have been with AOL Journals since the beginning... You lucky people, you.

You know, I stumbled along onto AOL Journals on accident... Hmm... Could it be fate???  You know, I've found that writing in my journal helps... Plus, reading other peoples have let me into other peoples lives, beliefs, and ways... All very interesting on its own.  I'd definetly say that SloMo's journal is the one that got me started... Believe me, mine will never be as GREAT as SloMo's... But I guess I'll always try :)

SO!  Happy Birthday AOL Journals... Thanks for the GREAT YEAR!!!

So, yesterday after work, I went to work out... Gotta keep those pregnancy pounds from piling on!  Anywho... I was working out and all of the sudden the lady asked me what my heart rate was.  See, at Curves they make you stop every once in a while and do a ten second count on your heart rate... Then, what ever your number is, you look on a board and you find it in a % and color... They ask you what your color is and your respond (mind you, there are 5-10 other ladies doing this all at the same time).  Well, you usually want to stay in the Yellow and Green ranges... But I guess now, since I'm 'expecting' I have to stay between the Red and Yellow ranges (lower heart rate)... But the thing is... How am I supposed to get a good work out if I'm not in the range where I'm burning calories??? EH, I guess I'll just have to wait and talk to the doctor.

When I got home last night... Dinner was just about ready (Tri-Tip and red potatos that hunny put on the BBQ) and the Hubby had me sign up for a Fantasy Football League, for friends and family... Yeah, I guess I'm a good wife if I'm playing Fantasy Football huh?? ::lol::  After dinner, the hubby went outside to wash his patrol car, and of course, Miss Princess Rowan followed... But that didn't last long because my friend Amy and her boyfriend, 'Duck' (Ro's nickname for him, its really Nick), came over to hang out.  So, you know Miss Rowan can't leave Auntie Amy's side... She sure loves that girl too... Sooo sweet...

So, the guys hung out together and talked Shop (Nick is going to be a firefighter) and Amy and I... oh, don't forget Ro, going back and forth... watched "Amish in the City"... Hmm, yes, it was interesting!  I'm not going to make too many comments or anything... But it was different...

Well, I've still got a stack of invoices to enter... Still trying to catch up... And there isn't much of anything else to report.  Ro has gym tonight... If I can remember, I'm going to take pics and try to post them :)

TTFN... Hope all have a wonderful day!

It's ONLY Wednesday??

Are you sure it is only Wednesday??  It can't be true... No, No... I need to check the calendar again... Ah, MAN!  It needs to be Thursday... Which means that I wouldn't have to work tomorrow... But NO.  It is only Wednesday.... ::sighs::

The last few days have been pretty icky days for me.  Morning sickness is kicking my butt in the morning and staying with me for the rest of the day... Either with a headache or with nausea.  I haven't been myself.  All I want to do is sleep or eat... Lol.  Depending on my  mood.

Anywho... Off the morning sickness junk.

Princess Rowan and her Daddy had a great time at the movies yesterday!  When she woke from her nap yesterday afternoon, she told me all about 'Spidy Man' and soda and candy and popcorn!!  Daddy said Rowan was a very big girl.  I guess she sat in her own seat (they were way at the top) for about half of the movie... But I guess she got tired of the chair trying to fold up on her, so she moved to her Daddy's lap!!  ::giggles::  She did have to make 2 trips to the potty during the movie.. But who can blame her.. With a 2 year olds bladder and with a soda in it... I'm surprised she didn't go more!!

I was able to get a little kitty-kat nap in yesterday ::woo hoo::... But I did go work out... Good for me!!  I actually felt better after my workout than before.. Hmm, who would have thought... LOL.

The hubby made another delicious dinner last night.  Lemon Garlic chicken on the BBQ, twice baked potatos, and artichokes!!  Oh so good.  And on tonights menu is Tri-Tip and red potatos... I'd have to say that I'm pretty lucky with the fact that I have a WONDERFUL HUSBAND who loves to cook!!  ::Yippee for Me::

Honey did have a friend come over last night to doing some B.S.-ing with.  I'll have to say, they defiently didn't get out of control like last time ;)  Nah, not even close.  Then, we happened to be looking over the fence because a dog was walking by and saw another couple that we know.  The guy works with my Hubby, so they came in and satdown with us and talked for awhile.  Princess Rowan really likes the wife... She is very into her.

Today calls for another day of working out at Curves... Tomorrow is a break since Princess has her gym class.  And hubby might have another friend over tonight... LOL... I don't blame him for having this guy over though.  They've been friends for a couple of years, he was even in our wedding, and he is off to the military again.  Yes, I said again.  He'd been in the military for a while and got out... Then became a police officer... And now he is back to wanting to play war.  Hmm, he and his family will be missed.  Who knows... Maybe the hubby and I (plus the kiddies) will make a trip to North Carolina will be in the future...

Well, I've got some stuff to do!  TTFN....

Spider Man 2....

Princess Rowan is going to go see her first movie today... Its kinda bitter-sweet for me though.... Daddy is the one taking her.  I'm at work and they'll be watching "Spider Man 2"!!  How cute is that?

This will be Rowan's first trip to the movies... We had ment to take her to see "Shrek 2" with her cousins... But we never got around to it... So, she is off to the movies for the first time with her Daddy...

Honey called it a "Daddy-Daughter Date".  I think it is too sweet.  She always watches "Spider Man" with him... So it is pretty fitting that she goes and sees the second part to the movie with him.  She even knows that it is "Spidy Man"... As she calls it.  LOL... My kid is a crack up.

Oh well... There will be many more movies that we will all enjoy together as a family!!  Still a tid-bit jealous... But I'm glad they are doing fun stuff on his days off.  Its not all the time that a Daddy can spend the day with his baby girl... <3

Today is a pretty good day... I've been at work since 7:30 this morning... Normal is 8am... But I left the house early enough (didn't have to take the Princess to YaYa's) and I guess I got here a little early... Which means, I'll be leaving a little bit early too :)

Definetly going to go work out today... Planned on it yesterday... Something came up on my friend's side... Something about a Plumber (can't be good)... Lol.  Need to get working out though... Count down to Friday is only 4 days!!!

Well, I have to finish my stack of payables... Yippee for me!!  Guess I'll write more later... I'll share how Miss Rowan like the movies (or not??)... TTFN

Icky Day...

Oh Icky Icky days... Why do they plague me??  Lol.

First of all... Last night, I set my alarm.  I thought I had set it for 5:52am... But when I woke this morning at 6:30am, I found that I had set the alarm for 5:52PM!!!  UGH.  So, I woke with a start... Didn't get to do my ritual of hitting the Snooze button once or twice...

Then... As I was brushing my teeth... I wave of nausea came over me!! Darn Morning Sickness!  ::Yucky::  I couldn't fit it and I ended up with my face in the toliet... Gross Gross... Luckily it was clean.  ::hehe::

So, today was the first day that I actually barfed... At least I held out for 8.5 weeks before it came... LOL.

But, as some people know out there... If morning sickness hits you in the morning, it is going to be with you for the rest of the day... So, I feel very icky today :(

I've been trying to catch up on everything that I wasn't able to accomplish last week with my 1.5 days at work... lol... So, I've been up to my neck in invoices and payroll!  ::woo hoo::

Its back to working out today too... I didn't make it AT ALL last week... So, we are heading back to the gym.  I'm glad too because I'm starting to feel fat!!  Plus, we weigh in on Friday and get measured... Sooooo... Gotta work out before that day!!

Well, I NEED to get back to work!  Hope all have a wonderful weekend... TTFN

Floors and pretty much a week off....

Well!  I've been gone a while... AGAIN... Our house has been in shambles and our computer hasn't been up... I've also had a few days off of work, since someone had to be home while the floors were being done... So, I've had Journal withdrawls... Lol...

You can imagine what my inbox said when I came on... 65 New Emails... Most of which were other Journalers entries... I like to keep up on some... So I have AOL alert me when they make new entries.

So, I've posted some new pics of our house... Excuse the icky icky pictures of our house before the floor installation... But you'd have to see them to understand why were are SOOO EXCITED!  lol.

There is also a few pics of Rowan and our kitty Stinker sleeping... They decided they were going to take a nap together this evening and I couldn't resist taking a picture of them :)

Well, we have a few more things to do with the house... Bring in some more furniture and what not... Plus, need to give the Princess a bath... She spent most of the day in the pool at the In-laws for a birthday party for her Papa.

Hope all had a wonderful weekend... TTFN

Still No Floors.... :(

Well, we still don't have all of our floors down.  Bummer... The guy that is laying the floors didn't have his partner (which is his son) to help him yesterday.  So, we've only got floors done in the front room/dining room.  And then, it isn't even the whole space that is done... Bummer again...

My wonderfully sweet mother is at my house today watching Princess Rowan.  Honey had to go to training today, so someone needed to be at the house while they work on the floors... ::Thanks Mom::  I'm only working until 12pm today, that way she doesn't have to be at the house alllll daaayyyy lllllloooonnnggg... Plus, I haven't been feeling all that great (icky morning sickness)... So, it will be nice to go home and rest.

So, Daddy has been trying to tell the Princess that she's going to have a little baby sister or brother... We haven't figured out if she gets it.  We tell her there is a baby in mommy's belly and she just looks at us like we are weirdos.  Yet, if you ask her where her baby is, she points to her belly!!  And if you ask her where mommy's baby is she points to my belly... she'll even give it a kiss... lol.  I guess we've got a pretty smart 2 year old on our hands...

Daddy is trying to get her to ask for a brother... lol.  His family is desparate for a boy.  His parents had 3 boys... and out of those 3 boys, 4 GrandDAUGHTERS came along.  So, this is one of their last chances to get a boy... But I know they'll take anything that comes along... All we want is a healthy baby...

Well, I suppose I should go and do some work... Since I am leaving early :)  Have a nice day all... TTFN

What A Busy Weekend!!

Its been a few days since my last entry... I'd have to say, we've been very busy the last few days...

I'd tell you what I did on Friday, but I've truly forgotten.  Hmm, Hmm... What is wrong with me???

DO know what we did on Saturday.  Saturday was full of Birthday parties.  Honey had dog training all day, so he wasn't able to make our first party.  The first party was for a friends son who was turning 3.  They live in Washington (her hubby is in the Navy) and were down visiting family... So, they threw a little party for her son and we were able to go!  Rowan actually had a good time...

The second party was for my neice's 1st BIRTHDAY!!!  It was really nice.  There was about 30 people there (young and old) and it was Hawaiian style... Too cute!  Miss Morgan, the birthday girl, got spoiled and totally enjoyed herself!  Definetly a great 1st birthday...

Sunday was another busy day... For different reasons though.  The honey and I had to move our furniture out of the house into the garage and backyard... Because we are getting our floors done!!  ::WOO HOO::

So, we spent Sunday cleaning and moving stuff.  My mom and Dad did come over and help move some stuff that was too heavy for me to help move  ::THANKS MOM AND DAD::  Then we had dinner... Fabulous BBQ hamburgers and other goodies that go along perfectly with that :)

We were supposed to have our floors started on Sunday, but they changed the date to Monday and said that they'd be there "first thing in the morning".  HA!!  What a joke is that crap!  Those fools didn't show up to start our floors until oh, um, 12:30pm!!!  Crap Crap Crap!!!  Then, they didn't even have what they needed to do most of it and they left at 4:30pm!  UGH... I'll stop complaining now... Cause I know the floors will eventually get done!!! ::when????::

Well, I've got a bunch of junk to catch up on today... Payroll to enter and what not... Have a nice week all... TTFN

One White Tennis Shoe...

So, yesterday was a pretty exciting day...  I had a doctor's appt yesterday afternoon and the hubby and I found out some exciting news...

WE ARE EXPECTING A LITTLE BUNDLE OF JOY!!!

We are very excited... Yet, very cautious.  Our last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, so this time around we are crossing all fingers and toes.  We are still early in the pregnancy (only about 7 weeks along) so, hopefully, all will be well.  We have another doctor's appt on August 2nd for a second ultra sound... That way it can be checked and make sure all is well... ::keeping fingers crossed::

Anyways.... After our very exciting doctors appointment, I went home to change to go work out with my friend Nicole at Curves.  I got dressed and when I went to find my tennis shoes, I only found one!!  YES!!  Just one of my tennis shoes could be found.  So, the hunny and I turned our house upside down and inside out looking for the second shoe!!

In the end, we did NOT find the other shoe.  Can you believe it?  So, I had to call my friend and tell her that I couldn't go work out because I could only find one of my shoes and I only have one pair of tennis shoes!!  ::UGH::

So I was a lazy butt yesterday.  Didn't do much of nothing :)  Just hung out with the munskin and watched all my shows that I DVR'd from the night before.  I still have to finish watching "The 4400", the new show on USA.  Maybe I'll do that tonight??

Tonight the Princess has gymnastics and then we are having dinner at my parent's house.  Yummy BBQ ribs and fried rice... I love my mom's fried rice.  It is SOO good!  Plus, my brother and his girlfriend will be down from Davis to join us!  So, you know the Robonator will be in Hog-Heaven... Having her YaYa, Grandpa, Boo and Amy there all at the same time... Oh my goodness... She will be happy.

Well, I've gotta go get to working now.... TTFN

Me So Tired....

I'm so tired this morning...

Honey had some friends over last night and they didn't leave until like 1130pm!!!  ::Ugh::  Mind you... I was in bed at 9pm... But did ya think I got any sleep?  No.  How could I sleep with a bunch of "boys playing outside" in the spa??  Mind you... The spa is a whole 6 feet from our bedroom windows.  And before you ask... Yes, the windows were CLOSED!!

See, I don't mind him having his friends over at all... I happen to enjoy hanging out with him and his buds sometimes too.  But hey, on a Tuesday night? Not a problem... If the friends left at maybe 10pm or something... But when wife's are calling the house at 1045pm looking for their hubby's???  I think that is when it is time to end the party??  And especially when I have to be up at 545am to get ready for work.  ::double ugh::

Oh okay... Now that I have vented....

I do love my husband... Just to clarify :)

Our party at work yesterday was a BIG success.  So much food and so many people.  I don't know if the bosses had a great time since the plant was shut down for about an hour and a half and that means they lost production time... But like we all said in the office... "Oh well.  It was for a good cause"

I didn't work out yesterday... ::bad girl, bad::  But I will be working out today after my doctors appt.  Oh fun... So it will more than likely be working out Wed, Thurs, and Fri this week... I do need to squeeze in a nail repair though too!  Shoot.  I busted a nail yesterday opening a soda can... Just love it when I do that.

Oh!  I had weigh in at WW yesterday.  Good new and bad news... Good news is I didn't gain, the bad news is I only lost 4 ounces... ::BUMMER::  Guess I better start watching my points a little bit better :(

Well, I've gotta go... Got plenty of invoices to enter today... Hopefully I can catch up before I go to my doctors appt at 1230pm.... Have a nice day all... TTFN

It's A PARTY!!

It's A PARTY!!

We are having a party today... A BIG OL' BASH!!  Tons of yummy mexican food... Chicken fijitas, cheese enchilladas, and chili verde!!  Plus, homemaid tortillas and beans and rice... Oh so good!  Plus, we'll have some really awesome mariachi music ::lol::

My neice is here today at work with her mom.  She is helping blow up balloons and put out tables!  What a big help.  So far, she has only made one balloon explode ;)  Silly girl!

The hubby, Princess and I went to a 'Fijita Feed' last night at a local Mexican resturant!  Double the yummy food in two days... ::woo hoo::  Then it was off for a treat... To Foster Freeze for some Icey Crem (according to Rowan)... I know, I know, not on my diet... But I've been doing good other wise...

That was pretty much it for yesterday... Didn't do anything that was too much fun... I pretty much crashed when I got home.

Well, I've got somethings to do today... Plus it is Weight Watchers Day... Oh yeah... :)  But all I can think about is this yummy food that will be here soon... Yummy Yummy...

Monday, Monday....

Monday, Monday...

Today has been crazy so far!!

I can't seem to catch up on anything from last week!  I have an ever growing pile of invoices that I have to enter and then I have to enter payroll today...

And with last Monday being a Holiday, oh yes, this will be fun.  I have to make sure all employee's here over 90 days get their pay and make sure I don't pay anyone who hasn't been here 90 days... ::UGH::

I did happen to grab a very yummy BLT from the lunch truck that comes every day!  Oh man, so good... And surely not on my diet ::who is surley??::

We are having a very big party tomorrow too!  It is a retirement party for a gentleman that was with our company for 42 years!! Yes, I repeat... 42 years!!  Oh my goodness... That is a VERY long time.

So, tomorrow we are having a mexican food resturant come in and cater the lunch and even a mariachi (sp?) band!! Too funny!

Well, I gotta get back to work... Have a wonderful day all... TTFN

No Lazy Day Sunday Here...

What a day...

We were up not too early this morning... but not too late... just around 9am... from there we got ready and went to Target (out of the house by 1030!! can ya believe it?)... One of our favorite stores... Like I've mentioned previously, we can't go in there with out spending anything less than $100!

Today we had to be birthday presents for two upcoming kids' parties... One for our neice and the other for a friend's son... Our neice is turning 1 on Wednesday... Her party is on Saturday though, thought we should get it out of the way :)

We also got some stuff to put on the bottom of our furniture so it won't scratch our new floors ::woo hoo::  Honey also got one of those new car washing things by Mister Clean!  He seemed to like it... He washed both his new patrol car (see pics above) and my car... How nice ;)

From Target it was off to lunch... We were all starving... So it was to Strings... A little italian place in a local city... Yummy Yummy.  Honey had the Lasanga Pastry, which looked very tasty and I had the spaghetti... It was alright...

To continue our busy day, we went over to the Hubby's parent's house for a short visit.  They don't tend to see the munskin as much as my family (since my mom watches her), so we try to get her over there as much as we can... She had a good time hanging out with her Nana and Papa for the time we were there.

By the time we got home... we had so much to do.  The honey spent a little time playing his new Xbox game, Spider Man 2 (gotta reward all his hard work ya know)... and then it was outside to wash the cars... Miss Rowan also went outside and drove her little Power wheels gocart around... She has had that since her first birthday and still loves it... Even though she doesn't know how to stear it all that well ;) lol.

Well, that was pretty much my busy day... Honey made a great dinner... BBQ hamburgers with avacado and steak fries (so not on my diet)... But now its time for the Princess to hit the bath and then to bed for all... Hope all have a wonderful week ahead... TTFN

We are getting floors!!!

We are getting floors!!! Yippee Yippee..

Don't get me wrong... We have floors in our house, but we are getting laminated (faux hard wood) flooring put down!!  I'm so excited!!  We are going on 3 years in this house and between a kid and animals, our carpet has sure taken a beating!!

So, next Sunday, July 18th... We will be getting Mowhawk floors put in.  It will be in our livingroom/diningroom, kitchen, hallway, den and our master bedroom!  Suprisingly, its not all that expensive... Just around $6500 for floors and installation... Oh I can't wait!!  It will be so nice and new... We won't have to worry about being embarrassed about of floors when people come over... ::WOO HOO::

We didn't do much today.  Cleaned house so the guy could come over and take measurements and then had some donuts for breakfast (oh yeah, so not on my diet...)... Then the honey went to fill out the paper work for our floors while the Princess and I took a nap... Ah, what a lazy day ;)

Honey brought home lunch too!  What a guy... Yummy tri-tip sandwiches from a local resturant... Oh so good... Especially with grilled onions... To die for!  Then the Robonator and I went to my sister-in-laws house to swim... Of course the hubby was at work... Gang Detail tonight... More OT (woo hoo $$)... But we sure miss him when he is gone!!

We had a pretty good time swimming... The princess was still kinda tired, so we didn't swim all that long... But now its time for me to find something to feed her... Pancakes sure sound good ;)

Hope all have a great rest of the weekend... TTFN

Just an Average Day...

So today was a pretty average day... Of course I was off today, like I am normally on Friday's... But I wasn't able to sleep in as late as I would have liked... ::bummer::

Miss Rowan decided she had enough sleep and woke up about 7:55 this morning.  Eh, it was okay though, my alarm was actually set for 8:15am because I had to get up and be at the gym (Curves) at 9am to meet my friend Nicole to work out.

So... I was up a little earlier than I had hoped, but oh well...

My work out today wasn't as good as the other days.  My mind wasn't really in to it... But I still did it... Thats a good thing right??  ::Nodding my head yes::

Back at home, I was greated by an estatic Rowan... Running all the way down the hallway, screaming, "Mama Home... Mama Home"... That can sure bring a smile to you face :)  I also found my hubby getting ready to go to a funeral...

The funeral was for another police officer's father (and actually the mayor's husband) who had passed away from a motorcycle crash on July 4th.  So, being the really great guy that my husband is (along with other wonderful guys from the PD) he went in support for his fellow officer and the mayor.  He even got dressed up in his suit... Lol... I guess the suit does come in handy every once in a while.

Hubby did bring home lunch for me though :)  He brought home food from the local Sub and Deli... Yummy Yummy.  Just gotta love the turkey and avacado on wheat roll... Of course the Princess got her Peanut Butter Sandwich... Sometimes I wonder if she'd like a spoon to eat the peanut butter out of the jar instead... Wait a minute... I know she does... ::gotta remember to thank the YaYa for that::

Of course the honey is at work tonight... So its just the Robonator and I.  We spent a little time in the spa... Not much since it was so hot outside and then we made dinner (Shake n Bake porkchops and fresh zuccini)... Now its time for us to think about night-night land...

Still can't get over thistiredness... Hmm...

Hope all have a wonderful weekend!!  more later... TTFN

Nothing Particular

I've put some pictures of The Princess Rowan when she was really young... The first picture was when she was about 3-4 months old and the second was when she was about 7 months old.... She sure was a cutie pie... Um, wait a minute!  She still is :)

Yesterday was such a wasted day... ::UGH::  I didn't go work out because my shoulder was bothering me.  I have an old water polo injury that acts up sometimes when I do too much... And I guess I did too much on Tuesday when I went to Curves!  Oh well... There is always today.

So instead of working out, the Robonator and I went to the grocery store!  Never go to the store when you are hungry!!  You always end up purchasing more than you should!!  I didn't do too bad... But I did find something things in the bags later and I asked myself, "why did I get this??".  Lol.  Rowan even got some goodies into the cart... She got her juice boxes... Which she loves and some snacks... Stuff she doesn't always get.  So I guess I made the Princess happy :)

I was dying from thirst when we left the grocery store, so I decided to stop at Carl's JR for a soda and get Miss Thing a shake (her new fav thing).  Well, I ordered a large diet coke and got Rowan a small vanilla shake!  Let me tell you!! Neither one of those drinks were either Large or Small!!  My large was more like a XX-Large and then Rowan's small shake was more like a Medium/Large!  Can you imagine a 2 year old drinking away at a shake that is half her size (lol, jk).  Yeah, she barely made a dent in it!  I guess next time I'll know not to order those sizes.

We did see her Daddy's car last night though!  It is funny how she can catch a police car out of nowhere and say, "Dada's car".  Well, most of the time it isn't him... But last night, she actually got it right :)  He was at the Staples right next door to Carls Jr. What a cowink-y-dink...  We didn't get to see him though... Don't want to be one of those nosey wifes that have to stop everytime they see their husbands somewhere... But we did call and say hi.

When we got home... It seemed like all we both wanted to do was crash!! So we (I say we like she helped...lol) quickly put away the grocerys and grabbed dinner... A frozen burrito and yogurt for her and a Crab Louie Salad for me... and then we crashed on the couch!!  Hubby was nice enough to clean up the house before he left for work... What a nice Honey!... So we didn't have to worry about cleaning.  ::Yippee Yippee::

Well, I have a bunch of checks to stuff into envelopes!  And it is about time to grab some lunch too... TTFN

Hmm....

Well, I got an email this morning... A very suprising email in fact.  This is what it said:

Hello!

WOW!  I've only had this Journal up since May and barely 160 visits... And I'm being considered for AOL Journal!  I know it is only a consideration... But still... Too be noticed... What a feeling!

Anywho... I felt like a candle burning at both ends yesterday!  I went straight from work to Curves to work out and then from Curves I went straight to Weight Watchers!  Good news though, I hadn't gained any weight since I left WW and it looks like I'm already becoming a Loser (weight wise that is).

Then it was off to pick up the Princess!  She was still sleeping on the YaYa's couch when I got there at 5pm.  My mom said they had a busy day... Swimming in the pool and what not.  I guess Robo had also helped her Grandpa do some measuring in the back yard for future projects that my parents have... Sure sounds like she had a busy day.

So we were off!  Rowan was asking about her Daddy on the way home so we stopped by his work and gave him hugs and kisses.  Their police station is actually right next door to the main Fire Station... So you could probably imagine how excited Rowan was when she saw that the Fire Trucks were having a bath!  Unfortunetly, her Daddy wasn't able to take her over there to see them... He was getting ready to head out and the Princess was just in a t-shirt and undies ;) Lol.  She SO didn't want to get dressed before we left!  I guess it will be another day when she gets to see the fire trucks... A day that she is actually dressed... ::Lol::

By the time we got home, we were hungry and very much tired!  So, I heated up some hamhock and beans that my mom had made and sent home with me and then we crashed on the couch!  I did do a little house cleaning... key word... Little!  Like I said, I was whopped!!

I have a lot to do today after work too!  Gotta make the weekly run to the grocery store and then actually go home and do some real good cleaning!  ::Ugh::

Well, I have to get working on some stuff... Gotta actually do some work to get a paycheck ;) Jk... Hope all have a Grrr-eat day!  TTFN.

Another Day at the Pickle Factory

Well, its back to the ol' Pickle Factory for work... I thought it would be fitting to use Green as my font color today since its our season... Meaning, we are pulling in cucumbers from local growers... So, Green is what I thought I'd use today :)

Yesterday was a pretty uneventful day for our family.  We actually got to sleep in yesterday morning and just basically lay around.  The hubby went and worked out and then decided to go and get something to BBQ for lunch.  We had a yummy-yummy pork loin... It was SO good!  We actually had a pretty 'healthy' lunch... Pork, green beans, ceasar salad with low fat dressing, and fresh fruit.  It was a nice lunch... Like I said before, we are stepping over to the healthy lifestyle (again).

Between making lunch and what not, we actually got some swimming in.  The Princess is getting so tan!  Her portugese is definetly coming out in her.  I did some laps... About 20... Trying to get back into my Water Polo days, I guess... It will take some time, but I'm determined.

I'm going to Curves again today.  Gonna do my 30 minute work out and then head over to my weigh-in at Weight Watchers.  See!  I'm back on track!  Of course I've missed more than 3 weigh-ins, so now I've gotta pay the registration fee's all over again... But oh well... Like I said, I'm determined!  So its working out today, tomorrow and Friday.  Monday was messed up because of the holiday... But I'm definetly going to get in there 3 days a week!

Well, I've got to go enter some invoices then work on payroll... Hope all have a wonderful day!  TTFN!

July 4th Parties!

Happy belated July 4th to all!  Hope all had a wonderful, safe time!  I know we sure did.

On Saturday, we went to my parents house for a pre-4th BBQ.  It was really nice.  We got to see people we hadn't seen in a while and share some stories!  The Princess got to go swimming with her Uncle Boo again and we got some wonderful food!  Mom made BBQ ribs, hamburgers, baked potatoes and there were a bunch of sides... YUM YUM!  Hubby had to work on Gang Detail (again!) so he was only able to stay for a few hours... But the Robo and I didn't leave until almost 9pm.  Then we took the hubby food at the office since he wasn't able to eat before he left.

I was a slacker this weekend though... I totally forgot to take pictures!  Yes, I did have my camera, but I just didn't use it!  Ugh.  I guess I'm still trying to get used to the idea that I need pictures to remember what has happened in our lives ;)

So yesterday was a lazy day!  We didn't leave our house until 4pm to go over to his brother's house for the 4th BBQ.  They funny thing was, we thought we were going to be late, but when we showed up, we were the first ones there! LOL.  Actually, hubby's other brother showed up maybe 2 minutes after us, so thats okay.  The party actually started around the time we did show up.

There was a lot of swimming and a lot of people there.  It was a good time and good time to visit.  I got my baby fix out of seeing our little niece Morgan who turns 1 on July 14th... and other people were actually getting their baby fix from Miss Rowan.  Lol.  I guess, when you want a child of your own, even a 2 year old will do for a fix ;)

I actually got to talk to some ladies that I don't really talk to much or have talked to much.  They are wives of other police officers that the hubby works with.  Actually, they are about the same age as I, so that is a rare thing.  Most of the other wives are older and I rarely have anyone to talk to.... So this was a nice change.

Hubby's brother BBQ'd hot dogs... A nice change also...and then we went into the field behind their house to watch the firework show from the local college.  Pretty nice show, once it got started.

We didn't get home until 11pm last night.  We were sure tired... More the Princess than anything.  Well, I've got a house to clean and a monster to get down for a nap. Hope everyone's weekend was great and their week is just as wonderful!  TTFN

T.G.I.F.

My day started early today... At 7am actually!  No!  I didn't get to sleep in on my day off... but it was for a good reason.  My honey and I got to watch his nieces, while their mom went to work at the Pickle Factory (remember, we work together).

So, I was up at 7am.  Got myself cleaned up and waited for the youngins to arrive.  When they did, I made them some cinnamon rolls and basically let them crash on the couch!  Poor girls, it was too early for them to be up on Summer Vacation.

It was a busy day though.  Between watching the girls, I went to Curves for my second work out ::woo hoo::!  I still like it... Ask me again after my 10th or 11th time there ;)  And then it was time to do laundry and clean house (as much as you can when all 3 of the girls were into everything).

Cleaning house didn't last long... Not with it being 94 degrees outside and all 3 girls being part fish!  So, with that it was time to hit the pool!  As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a blast, even the Lola dog.  Poor Miss Ro got tired though from all the excitement and swimming and had to come in before everyone else... But she still had a good time!

After the girls were picked up, my mom, dad, brother and his gf came over for some swimming and dinner.  DOUBLE SWIM DAY!  So we did a little swimming, not much though and then had some BBQ'ed hamburgers!

With dinner being done, my brother decided that he and his gf were going to play my hubby's Xbox.  And of course, the Princess had to follow her "Boo"... Thats where the other pictures come into play.  Uncle Boo decided he was going to teach Rowan (as much as a 2 year old can catch onto) how to play Xbox :) lol.  Well, she got the idea of pushing the button to make the thing on the TV to shoot!  She even 'beat' her Uncle! lol.  I think he let her... But that shows how much he loves her...

Tomorrow is going to be another busy day!  I am going to work out again, this time at 9am ::shudder::... TOO EARLY... But Curves is only open from 8am-1030am on Saturdays!  Then it is off to the grocery store to pick up some fresh veggies for a veggie platter to take to my parent's house for their Pre-July 4th BBQ.  So!  I've got a very busy weekend ahead of me!

Well, it is time for the Princess to get in the bath.  Hope all have a wonderful Holiday weekend... Have a 'safe and sane' 4th... TTFN

Just A Note...

I just wanted to leave a note about The Princess and The Pool!

After I reread a previous entry, I know it sounds bad that she did "go swimming all by herself"... But we have made precautions about her and the pool!

The Princess can't even go outside by herself.  There is no way that she could open the doors, because we have the doors deadbolted.  You literally have to have a key to open the doors (and she can't get to the key).  Plus, we have childproof things on the handles that she has yet to figure out...

We also have our alarm set that if the doors are opened, they chime and let us know that there has been a door opened in the house...

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are protecting our Princess... And we worry about her around the pool too ;)

Well, the Robonator has gymnastics tonight... A good way to get rid of her pent up energy...

But I gotta go back to work now... TTFN
