I don't know about anyone else, but I keep getting Lovely Comments in my journal from people trying to sell their god damned sex sites!!
What kind of BS is this?? Am I the only one??
Seriously, I had to go back into some August entries to block and delete these comments!
I had at least 20 of them!! Ugh.
I'm fired up... What can we do to stop this? Anyone have any ideas??
Going to run now. Gotta clean house for D's party.

Nope, i just got my first one today, and from what i have read, i guess im one of the lucky ones. I sure hope i dont get anymore.
Alot of people have been getting them ..i scanned my J earlier today...but only looked at my last 5 or so entries...cause i thought it had just started recently...but OMG...so far back as August...guess i'm gonna have to go check mine out again....what a bunch of bullshit!

I've gotten a isht load , too! Blocked, deleted, and TOS'd the screen names....
I've never TOS'd anyone, but this is worth it :)

I've gotten them too...but once I blocked them, I haven't gotten anymore. I can't believe they're allowed to post comments in our journals like that. It's indecent. Children read these journals, for crying out loud!! Perhaps it's something we should bring up to AOL for future updates on our journals.

I get them too, but in OLD, OLD entries. I still get the alerts though and that's how I know. I don't get it. Do they look up a code word, like "crap" and then put the comment in?! I just block them and report them as spam, that's all you can do unfortunately.

Just had to block two in mine this morning. It's annoying for sure. AOL can "Fix" everything else but can't stop these spammers. Figures!

I had about 5 from just yesterday, from about 3 different people! At first I thought I was the only one ... but I've seen that almost everyone has gotten them! Each person says it from someone different!
If anyone finds a solution let me know!

Im seeing more and more of these in peoples comments. It bothers me too and I'm the COMMENTOR lol I guess report it to AOL??

Ugh!!! I got those, too. Don't know what to do at this point but press the delete button. If you hear anything, please send the info my way.
No Jen, you're not the only one..I had two different entries of it and of course two different SN (although w/o a doubt SAME person behind them) leaving them in my guestbook..grrrr
I read from someone else's journal that they got these same comments..so someone must have had nothing better to do than spam a bunch of us.
this seems to be happening ALL OVER J-Land in Public Blogs..it's called Spam commenting it's aoutomated comments that are left by Porn people ect..my friend who has blogspot.com was getting them too until she put spam controls on her blog..AOL doens't have that yet...hopefully something to look into for them!
This is happening to a lot of people. What jerks!
