Good news on Zach.
He does not have an ear infection :)
The PA thinks he is just teething and that is what is causing his crankiness..
Zach also got a Flu Shot and the PA suggested that the rest of The Pickle Jar get one too.
So you know we will be :)

They are so scarce out here right now, that only people with immunity problems and the elderly get them, and everyone else has to either wait, or not get one at all.
I haven't had the flu in almost 8 years. Now that we discussed this, I will have it by Thanksgiving, and blame you.

Thats good that poor little guy doesn't have an ear infection. Hope he is feeling better soon.
I am glad he doesn't have an infection. I bet he is suffering from those teeth though, poor guy!

Ummm, I'd wait on the flu shot. See how Zach reacts to it. I have had only negative things happen to all of us with that damned flu shot, but it's an individual thing. I personally don't believe in them though.

Hope Zach doesn't react to the shot... but at least, if he does, it won't be the same duration as the real thing :)
I agree, everyone should get one. I'm not even a big fan of flu shots... the only two I've ever gotten, made me sick for a day or two. Still not as bad as the real flu, but ewww I cannot stand being sick.
I will probably get one this year though... still debating that one.
Orajel and Tylenol for Zach baby.... I gave Grace a half dose of Tylenol for pain relief with teething, epsecially those darn 'eye' teeth! Molars seem to break through without as much pain... babies just gnaw the heck outta stuff and slobber everywhere ;)

Gosh, I HATE when the kids are sick. Mine are older and I still feel so bad for them when they are not feeling well. I'm so glad Zach doesn't have an ear infection though. There's a little good news for you today!

SO glad Zach's ears were clear. I haven't ever gotten Casey a flu shot. I've thought about it though. I can't have them because I'm allergic to eggs....weird.
