Just Some Babling....

I'm wanting to do something different today... I think I'll do the green colored font again.  It seemed to go over okay last time, so... Today will be a green day.  For everything :D

I'm just planning on rambling today.  I really don't have much to fill everybody in on.  I was bad last night and went to Jack in the Box for dinner.  Rowan didn't help by asking for a Hamburger with Cheese either.  So, it was hamburgers with cheese for dinner.  I really was suprised that I didn't each as much as I had planned.  I got myself the Jumbo Jack meal and two tacos (because I LOVE THEM TACOS!!!)... And I was only able to eat half the hamburger and my tacos.  No fries either.  Weird.  I guess Mr. Zachary is getting a little bigger and making my stomach smaller... How nice.

Speaking of getting bigger.  I thought I'd share a belly picture again.  This time its at 26 weeks and 4 days pregnant.  Here ya go :D

belly2.jpg

Man is that belly big or what???  LOL.  I guess it is true about getting bigger the second time around.... Plus, I feel so much lower than I was with Rowan.  Guess its always a little bit different huh?

Right now I'm enjoying my first bagel with cream cheese AND strawberry jam.  Its pretty yummy too.  I'm usually just a cream cheese kind of gal, but I thought I'd try something different this morning.  I think I'll have to go this route again sometime... Hahaha.

See, I told you I was just rambling today...

Tonight I'm planning on sitting on the couch and folding laundry all night long.  Mind you, I will be watching "Gilmore Girls" and "One Tree Hill" while I do it though.  Gotta keep up on my shows... LOL.  I'm sure Miss Rowan and I will enjoy a great meal of left overs... And then maybe a chocolate shake or something yummy like that.  Hehe.  Me so bad ;)

Babyitscold.gif

Let me tell you... It is freezing outside today.  I'm not kidding either.  When I left my house this morning, it was a whole 30 degrees!  Aaaahhh.  Poor Princess was wrapped up in her winter jacket, pj's and blanket and was still saying, "Mommy its coldy".  Poor girl... And it is supposed to be like this the rest of the week.  With lows in the low 30's and highs in the low 50's.  So not usual here.

Tomorrow I go for my ultra sound to check on Zachary's kidneys.  I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.  I'm excited to see how big he has gotten... But nervous about knowing if his kidneys are bigger and I'm nervous about having to drink all that water again!!!  I hate it drinking all that water... It sucks.  I will definetly let you all know how it goes tomorrow evening though.  I promise.

Oh, I wanted to share a picture of our Christmas tree before I headed out for the day.  I'm really not going anywhere, since I'm already here at the wonderful Pickle Plant... But you all get what I mean.  So, here is our lovely Christmas tree...

Christmastree.jpg

Its not a great picture and the cat has messed up the skirt and the stuffed animals that the Hubby put down there... But it will do for now.

I hope you all have a wonderful day... Enjoy!!

HUGS TO ALL....

I'm Here... I Promise

Wow... So I didn't do an entry on Sunday.  Hmm, where was my head?  Let me tell you... I don't even know.  I'm still so tired from this weekend, it isn't even funny.

Let me catch you up...

Saturday we basically played nice and went and visited family on both sides.  The Hubby's uncle and his wife were down visiting his mom and dad... So, we went there for a few hours in the afternoon.  After we came home and Rowan took a nap, we headed to my parents house for another dinner and to visit with my grandparents.

On the way to my mom and dad's, the Hubby ran something over in the middle of the road and the noise from doing it was pretty loud.  I told him, "there goes our tire"... and his response was, "nah...".  About a mile down the road, the Hubby decides to feed our hungry tires (ride on the double yellow) and the noise wasn't right... So, I told him again, "we have a flat..." and again, his response was "nah... we don't..."

So, he runs on the line again and the same noise happens.  This is when he changes his tune and says, "yep... there went our tire..."  The Hubby pulls over on the side of the road under a lamp post and gets out.  Our front driver side tire was flat as flat can be.  Mind you, its like 40 degrees outside and we are both wearing our PJ's... Yes, we were being very lazy :D

In the end, we were able to change our tire with no problems... My dad did come to help (but the Hubby was able to do it by himself) and poor Miss Rowan did decide to get scared and have a miny fit until I took her out of the car.  But we were all okay in the end.  Now, we just have to get the tire fixed.... And with it being a Holiday weekend, nothing was open on Sunday.  So, today we have to get our tire fixed.... Woo hoo.

On to Sunday....

Sunday was our lazy day.  I was actually supposed to go to a Party Light Party at my friends house at 2pm and didn't remember until 11am!!!  Oh goodness.  So, I jumped up and at them and got ready to go... My mom went with me and I ended up spending more than I should have.  Actually, I shouldn't have bought anything, but because it was my BEST FRIEND throwing the party... I bought.  And boy did I buy :D  Its weird how quickly things add up... Haha.

I did decide that I was going to have a party in January.  It will be early January, because I don't know how much I'll be able to do before I get toooooo big.  LOL.  26 weeks and 3 days ladies and gentlemen.... That means that I only have about 12 1/2-13 weeks left!  And after the Holidays... It will go by very quickly!!

I did bring my digital camera to work today to upload the pictures from Thankgiving.  Yeah, that was a great idea until I realized I didn't bring my USB hook up to upload my pics.  Woo hoo... I'm so blonde sometimes!  LOL.  So, I guess that will be on my tray of things to remember tomorrow.

Well, I know this isn't the best entry possible... But I have too much to do today at the Pickle Factory to keep on rambling!  LOL.  I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and a great week... I'll be back later.

HUGS TO ALL.....

And its Done...

I'm extremely exhausted.  The last two days have been very busy for me and now all I'm wanting to do it sleep...

But when I sleep... I wake to pain and not being able to be comfortable.  I definetly would have to say that I've done too much.  And let me tell you, I never recieved so many lectures from people about resting... Not even when I was pregnant with Rowan and working as a bagger at the local Raleys.

I swear... I think I could go to bed and stay there until Sunday... If my body and family would let me ;D

Thanksgiving was a complete success.  There were 14 adults and 4 children shoved into my cozy little home (its really not small... about 1650 square feet... but the dinning/living room did get very crowded!!).  It was beautifully set up... Looking more like Christmas than Thanksgiving, but hey, I don't care.

Everyone pitched in great and brought what they said they would.  Every bit off all 3 turkeys went... And including some ham!!  The mashy potatos, stuffing and gravy were all my favs!  Oh yes, and don't forget the sweet potatos.  Oh baby.  Those things could send someone into a Sugar-Overload!  LOL.

The girls (remember, 3 brothers produced 4 granddaughters- on the hubby's side) all got along great and enjoyed their time together.  My house has never been so loud... I swear, it was so loud that you couldn't even think!!

The Hubby's fried turkey was a success... Even with the people that didn't think they'd enjoy it.  I think he was proud of it.  He did something different this time with the seasoning and injected it with orange juice.  Hmm, mighty tasty if you ask me.  And again, I'm not a big turkey person.

All of our guests were gone by 930pm.  But we didn't get to sleep until about 11pm.  It took some time to winde down for all of us... And then, when we did get to sleep, it seemed like we were up in a few hours... Neither the hubby nor I could sleep last night.  Weird.

Today we just spent some time around the house and then went to my parents for another Turkey dinner.  My grandparents are down for a few days and my mom made another dinner there... So, we were there pretty much all afternoon and evening so they could spend some time with Rowan ;)  They sure do love that little girl.

Speaking of her... I did take some pictures of her on Thanksgiving that are just too adorable and I will have to share them with you tomorrow.  I am just too tired to upload them and make sure they look okay to do it right now.  I know, I know... Go to bed.

I'm glad to hear that everyone had great Thanksgiving's... Its always good when the day goes well.

Now we just have to start thinking about Christmas.  Mind you...

Christmas Eve is only 28 days away!!!

I did get some shopping done today though... no no... I didn't go out on Black Friday... I did everything from my home computer!  LOL.  I purchased my brother his present and my MIL's.  I also did purchase my hubby one of his gifts... But according to the site, its on back order.  Hmm, and they didn't mention until when.  Just great.  Guess I better find out huh?  LOL.  Luckily Christmas is 29 days away.... HEHE....

Well, I think that is about it for tonight... I will definetly be back tomorrow and let you know about the rest of our weekend and show some pictures of my beautiful princess!  LOL.  Do I sound like a proud Mommy or what??

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend...

HUGS TO ALL.... Jennifer

Let the Countdown Begin!!

              givethanks.jpgtag lounge

Well, Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I'm counting down the hours before my family starts pouring into my home.  I've been cleaning pretty much all day with breaks... Let me tell you, there have been some breaks.  Haha.

cleaningdoll.gifThe only thing that I've really put off cleaning-cleaning is the kitchen.  I know we'll make breakfast and lunch and work on the turkeys tomorrow, so that is something I don't want to clean spotless and then have to go back again.  I did sweep the floors, but tomorrow I'll have to do that again and then mop.  Woo Hoo.  Maybe I can get the hubby to do that.

I'll trade him... I'll clean our bathroom and what not and he can mop the floors.  That doesn't sound that bad does it?  All he pretty much has to do tomorrow is clean the den, fold laundry (I can't stand it!!!) and mop the floors... Yeah, I think he'll go for that trade.  Haha.

Now that Thanksgiving is pretty much here... We can truly start the count down on Christmas.  So, just for you folks that I don't want Santa sneaking up on  SneakingSanta.gif Christmas Eve is only 30 days away!!!  Hehe... Are we ready yet??

Well, until tomorrow folks... I want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope you all enjoy spending time with your family and friends and that your dinners are awesome!!

HUGS TO YOU AND YOURS....

Just A Quick Update

I thought I'd try GREEN since I really don't use it often... If you guys don't like it, let me know... Because I'm not sure if I do :D

My doctors appointment this afternoon went very well.  I gained 3lbs total... Putting me at gaining only 8lbs of the 12lbs I originally lost.  I guess the doctor isn't worried... Maybe its because I have all the extra padding on me already that I'm not gaining the same as I did with Rowan... LOL.

Zachary's heartbeat was about 145/150.  He told me it was a very strong heartbeat and it sounded great.  My measurements were right along where they should be (25 weeks) and my blood pressure was lower than last time 127/68.

All looks well.  I'm still scheduled to go for another Ultra Sound on the 1st to check Zachary's kidneys.  Again, the doctor told me not to worry.  That he hasn't actually seen anything need to be done due to the kidney's being somewhat dilated.  He then repeated that they don't start to be concerned until they are around 10-12mm and Zack's is/was only at 3-5mm.

I go again on Dec 14th for a check up and to let me know about the results from the U/S.  He said if anything was major that they might just tell me there or he would call me... But again reasured me and told me not to worry.

So, I guess that means I'm not going to worry....

He also told me that my pressure and ligament pain was normal.  As long as I wasn't bleeding (too much info??) or having too many contractions, to again, not to worry.  Maybe get a support belt and make sure that there is plenty of movement from the baby after I have the pressure/pain... And let me tell you, Zack is a mover... Haha.

Well, I can't think of too much else to update on.  I didn't do much cleaning today... I feel worn down.  Plus, I know if I cleaned too much tonight... There would be another mess or the same one to clean up tomorrow... Lol.  So, thats what I have planned for tomorrow.  WOO HOO.

Hope all have a great evening... I'll try to update tomorrow... If not... I'll definetly send my Thanksgiving Wishes on Thursday...

HUGS TO ALL...

oh yes... Thanks for all the wonderful comments I've been getting too!

Its Coming!!

*Tag Lounge*

Well sure enough... Thanksgiving is coming very quickly!  In fact, its only 2 days away.  Oh my goodness.  Where has this year gone?  I swear, I was just celebrating my daughter's 2nd birthday...  and that was in JANUARY!!

Yesterday evening I went to the grocery store.  I was sooo not wanting to go so late in the evening and so close to Turkey Day, but at least it wasn't extremely crazy in there.  I ended up buying $145 worth of groceries, but thankfully I had a $25 gift card from my company!  I did get 3 turkeys!!  Yes, I said 3!!!  My hubby wants to deep fry one again... And I couldn't find anything over 11lbs to bake.  So, I ended up getting 2 11lb turkeys that we'll bake together.  Hey, I don't think it will go to waste between my hubby, his brothers and his father.  I swear, they will all have at least 2 servings each :D  Plus, we can always send goodie-bags home with everyone.  LOL.

I'm just looking for the mashy potatos and gravy... Ah... And don't forget the stuffing and sweet potatos.  I could care less about the turkey... LOL.

Here Turkey, Turkey!! *Tag Lounge*

Anywho....

Last night was spent cleaning and arranging my house.  Mind you, I wasn't in the mood much to clean after I had gone grocery shopping and what not.  But I did do some laundry and tidying up.  I guess tonight will be a major cleaning night along with tomorrow.  There are a few things that we'll put off until Thursday... Like mopping the floors and a few other chores.  But I want my house to be pretty much clean by Thursday morning.  I hate to be stressed and feeling like I'm being pulled in too many directions at one time!  And if I don't clean tonight and tomorrow... I'll definetly be stressed on Thursday... And my pregnant butt doesn't need that :D

Speaking of which.  I go to the doctors today.  WOO HOO.  I'm kinda curious of how much weight I've put on.  LOL.  After loosing the weight in the begining, I've only gained 5lbs (as of last month) back.  So, to me, its pretty interesting to watch since at this time with Rowan, I had already gained 25lbs!!  LOL.  I had put on a whopping 54lbs with her!

But I will be bringing up my ligament pain and pelvic pressure.  I know, I know.  Not much I can probably do... But I still need to mention it to him.  Or at least I think I should.  And then, last night, I decided to watch "7th Heaven"... Yeah, did anyone else watch it??  I was stupid for watching it because Lucy went into premature labor!  Ah... How dumb am I for watching something like that... Something like that could fill my head with bunches of bad thoughts!  UGH.  That is just as bad as me watching Maternity Ward on TLC.  They might have some happy stuff on that show, but some if it is sad and that isn't what I need to see!

I swear, a little knowledge for me can scare the crap out of me.  Just like when I found out about Zachary's kidney being dilated.  I did too much investigation and found out too much stuff before we actually knew/know how bad it is and if its anything to worry about.  But that is another story and I go on Dec 1st for an Ultra Sound... We'll see then.

::not going to worry... not going to worry::

Well... I think I've rambled enough this morning.  I have a bunch of stuff that I need to finish before I leave today at 1pm.  So... I'm off to do it!

HUGS TO ALL....

Monday....

Whats coming next?? Better be prepared! :D

*tag by Tag Lounge*

I swear, what is it with Mondays?  Why do they have to be so wack or hectic when there isn't anything important going on?  I just don't get it?

I would have to say that every Monday I feel like I'm being pulled in every direction and that I can't seem to stay on focus.  Today it seems to be just a little bit worse.

It might be because of the Holiday coming up... Did I mention that

**** Thanksgiving is only 3 days away ****

So yeah, maybe my mind is on other things besides the Pickle Factory.  I have to make sure that I have enough food and room for 14 adults and 4 children (from the ages of 1-12!!).  I have to make sure my house is clean and that it stays that way.  And I just have to make sure that everyone will be happy happy on the Special Turkey Day and that I don't have some kind of melt down between now and then!

Then I have the ever growing belly that seems to make me very uncomfortable at times.  Don't get me wrong... I love being pregnant and totally enjoy caring a baby.  But lately, I have so much pressure and ligament pain, that it is starting to bother me.  Thankfully I go to the doctors tomorrow... I think I'll be mentioning this all to him.  Unfortunetly, I don't think there will be anything for me to do besides endure it and drink plenty of water.  I even got an email update today (I sign up for pregnancy updates) that stated that I'd be having more pelvic pressure and ligament pain now that I'm getting further along.  Woo Hoo.  I just don't remember having that pain this early in my pregnancy with Rowan.  But like they say, you don't carry the same way everytime... And believe me, I'm not.  I'm totally carring lower than I did with Rowan and I'm all baby... Ah, the joys of pregnancy.  But I do love it... Especially when Zachary is moving around in my belly :D  Only about 13-14 weeks left!!!

Enough talk about my belly....

Well, I know that this isn't much of an entry... But suprisingly, I do have some work today even with the plant being shut down this week (Yes!! We in the office still have to work!!).  So, I must be going.  I hope all have a wonderful week!

HUGS TO ALL....

Sunday Sunday...

First of all, I just wanted to let you know that my brother's game yesterday evening turned out to be okay... He said he did have to do some fighting against the boards, but nothing too bad.  They even tied up the game in the last minute!!  Woo Hoo.  I think I would rather tie a game than loose... But that is just me.  So, in the end, they won one, tied two and lost one.  Not bad, not bad... Especially for them missing one of their key players due to a broken wrist.  So, YEAH UC DAVIS!!!

I just love Lazy Day Sunday's... Let me tell you... We didn't get out of bed until 9am this morning.  Then we had breakfast and once the Hubby/Daddy was awake (he worked last night), we were right back in bed, watching football with him!  LOL.  And then... Miss Rowan and I ended up falling asleep for about an hour!!  Can you understand how great that is??  What a lovely lazy day.

We did get up around noon to get ready to go meet my parents, brother and his girlfriend for lunch.  We all (yes, all 3 of us!!) met them at the local Mexican resturant and enjoyed a very yummy meal.  Luckily, both Rowan and I didn't finish our meals, so that is what we will be enjoying for dinner too!  Haha.  Hey, why cook when its just the two of us, ya know?

This week is going to be one hectic week.  I have to work Monday and Tuesday... With a doctors appointmen on Tuesday afternoon.  Luckily, my MIL told me to take Wednesday off so I could prepare for Thanksgiving day... But in between all that, I have to clean house and get stuff for Turkey Day.  Be it the food itself or enough place mats for 14 adults and 4 children!!  AHHHH.

 Thanksgiving is 4 Days Away!!!!

*tag by Tag Lounge*

So, I'm hoping I won't go crazy within the next few days... And that I'm actually going to be able to get on and check my emails and post a few entries.... I'm sure everyone can understand how hectic the Holidays are...

Tonight I'm just going to sit back and relax.  Okay, relax as much as I can with a 'almost three' year old running around and a house to clean!  LOL.  I wish I could just light a fire and sit on the couch because it is really chilly here... And the wind is just crazy... But I don't think that will happen any time soon.  Maybe closer to 8pm when my shows come on... But not now.

I should be off this computer and what not... Cleaning and doing laundry, but hey, I don't wanna.  :D

Oh yes, I think I'm prefecting the scruntchie/wind blown/sexy look!  LOL.  The hubby even gave me a complimant about how he liked it that way.  Usually the hubby just keeps his thoughts about my hair to himself, but I guess he really liked it this way or I wouldn't have heard otherwise.  So... I guess I'm going to need to wear it this way a little more often.  Plus, it is soooo easy.  I will be able to do it at 615 in the morning and still look like I did something to my hair  ::hehe::

Okay dokie... I better be a running now.  Miss Rowan is asking if I will sit with her and watch her new Mickey Christmas movie... BTW, its too cute!!  People of all ages will enjoy this movie!

Oh yes...

Christmas Eve is Only 33 Days Away!!!

Its Begining to Look A Lot Like Christmas

For being a Saturday, its been pretty quiet and uneventful... I'm actually kinda glad about that too.  Today is just one of those blah days... I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.  A blah day when you are in your PJ pants at 4pm!!  Haha.

Miss Rowan and I were up around 830 this morning.  I was kinda hoping to sleep in a little longer, but I guess the 9 hours of sleep she got last night was plenty for her... But don't let the fact that she is napping now (snoring loudly, I might add) fool you... She thought she was just fine this morning!  I on the other hand could have slept in until about 10am!

So, after we were up and ate our Dippy-Dip for breakfast (Ro calls anything served with syrup, like waffles Dippy-Dip), we were off to get ready for my brother's hockey game.

Let me tell you, that little girl loves her Uncle Boo and when she found out she was getting ready to go see him play, she practically ran to the shower.  Oh yes, I did scruntch my hair today... I think I really like doing it that way.  And it is sooo much easier than trying to blow it out.  It will take me a few more times to actually get it perfected, but Lisa, you are right about it giving you that sexy look.  Mind you, I don't know how sexy I can be at 6 months pregnant and caring around a toddler... But hey, I try ;D

Anywho... Enough about the pregnant gal trying to look sexy... ::hehe::

My brother's team actually did very well this afternoon.  They tied for their first game this morning and then won the game that Rowan and I were at.  They actually got a shut-out... Something they were not expecting!  They were missing one of their key players (as well as the other team) and from what I got, their moral was just low.  But I guess them beating the team 5-0 was something that perked them up.  My brother scored 2 goals and there weren't any scuffles between his team and the other one.  The team that my brothers team was playing is actually from the local junior college here.  So, it consisted of people that my brother actually grew up playing with on teams and against.  Just strange.  Its hard to play against friends or people you have played with before... You can't just check them into the wall and not feel bad I guess... haha.

I am kinda worried about their 5pm game (which they are playing right now!!).  They are playing Chico... and let me tell you, Chico and Davis don't have good blood with each other!  The last time my bro's team played them, by brother accidently checked another player in the neck, breaking his stick and cutting the guys neck!!  This wasn't done on purpose mind you, just something that happened.  But my brother and his team are really worried about what could happen during this game... And let me tell you, so am I!!  So, I'm patiently waiting to hear the outcome of the game.  ::biting nails::

So, its begining to look a lot like Christmas around here.  I received a few tags today from the Tag Lounge (Thank you all very much!!) and most of them had to do with Christmas.  I couldn't believe it!!  But hey, Christmas Eve is only 34 days away!!!  I've been reading some other journals and I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only one putting Christmas stuff already too!  I just love Christmas... And the longer the stuff is up... The more we get to enjoy it!

Well, its just about that time to start making some dinner.  I hope all have a wonderful Saturday evening and a great rest of the weekend.

HUGS TO ALL....

Friday, Friday.... FRRRIIIIIDAAAYYYY!!!

So, I don't really know why I should be so excited about the weekend starting.  I'm not really going to be able to spend any time with the Hubby this weekend and I'm pretty sure I'll be doing a lot of cleaning too... So why be excited?  I don't know.  I just guess the weekend is something to look forward to.

Anywho...

The Hubby and I put up all of our Christmas stuff today.  Yes, I said it... We put everything up.  Actually, not everything, because the Village still isn't up... But pretty much all of our stuff is out and looking very festive!

Our tree is decorated and our stocking are hung... Now, all we have to do is wait the 35 days until Christmas to wait and see what ends up under the tree and in the stockings!!  Woo Hoo.  I can't freaking wait... And I'm pretty sure our family will be suprised to see a Christmas motif instead of Thanksgiving decorations on Thanksgiving day... Oh well... Its more fun the Christmas way if you ask me!

Also, my mom and I went and got our hair done.  I put some blonde highlights in the front to apease my hubby and give my hair some dimentions.  Now now... I didn't do the blonde just for my hubby people... I did it for me too... But I think he begging for the blonde wife he married did help my decision too... LOL.  The hair dresser also did my hair a little different today.  She decided she was going to try to scruntch my hair.  And it actually turned out good.  So, what did I do?  I bought the spray gel from her and now I'm going to try to do it on my own!!  Haha.  Lets just see how good I can do it...

Rowan and I had dinner at my parents house tonight.  The hubby was out doing some more drug/gang work, so I thought we'd spend some time with them.  I'm not kidding you all, he is seriously working all four of his days off some how.  At least he is getting paid for what he did last night, tonight and tomorrow.  He had a SWAT presention at the local high school on Wednesday and they told him he wasn't getting paid for it!  What the heezy is that???  Working on his day off, but doesn't get any pay.  I could have flipped a lid when he told me that.

Oh well... More funds towards the Christmas shopping I suppose... Whatever that means :(

Tomorrow I'm going to try to get the hubby up and about and head to one of my brother's hockey games.  They are in a tourney in a neighboring town (no driving hours away for me, thank you!!  not after last time!!) so I thought we all would go and see.  If I can't drag him out of bed, I still figure Miss Rowan and I will go.  She loves to see her Uncle!

Well, that is it for now... Hope all have a great weekend... I'll update tomorrow.

Update

Well, all went well with my appointment this afternoon.  It went really quickly too.  He started the process at about 235pm and I was literally walking out of the office at 255pm!  Can you believe it??

It really didn't hurt all that much getting the shots... I swear, it hurt more when he sprayed the numbing stuff than when he put the needle in my toe!!  UGH.  Now it is starting to hurt though... And boy, does it look icky.  I never expected it to look the way it does... I guess that is what I get for thinking!!

After my appointment I went to Starbucks and shelled out $4 for a darn drink.  I figured I could treat myself after all I went through... LOL.  Then it was off to my nieces baskteball game.  Let me tell you, for a junior high game, it was a pretty good game!!  I was very impressed with both teams... And I actually got to see them win their first game!  Woo Hoo!!

We were going to come home and start putting up the Christmas decorations this evening.  Well, that idea got shot down pretty quickly.  Actually, the hubby was going to put up our village while Rowan and I went to gym and then we were going to put up other stuff when we got home... But when he was getting everything out of the attic, he got a call from work, asking him to come in for a while and do some survailence (sp??).

I guess the neighboring police department got some tip about a possible armed robbery at the local grocery store that is supposed to happen tonight... Soooo... My Hubby and some other guys are there watching and waiting.  Hopefully he will be home soon.  The store closes at 10pm... So, hopefully it won't be too much longer.  Plus, he said he'd bring me home something good.  Maybe Tacos from Jack in the Box or possibly a Mint Chip Ice Cream Sundae (thanks to Lisa!!)

Rowan did really well tonight at gymnastics!!  I'm guessing it was because she hasn't been in the last two weeks... Darn HFMD.  She also liked showing off her new gym outfit.  It is too cute!!  She looks just like the big girls out there... And boy, is my Monkey strong.  She can do flips on the bars and even go across the Monkey Bars by herself!  It is actually unbelievable!!  I couldn't believe she was doing it at first... She is very strong for an "almost 3" year old.

Well, its plenty late and I've gotta go put Rowan down... Wish me luck.  It seems to be getting easier each night... But still there isn't anything easy about it... haha.

Good Night and Hugs To All...

Pismo

My Miss Rowan walking on the beach for the first time... She truly seemed to enjoy having the sand and cool water under her feet.

Mom and Daughter Shawdows

Woo Hoo...

*Miss Rowan getting ready to 'shave' with Daddy... Such a happy girl*

Well, let me tell you what a suprise it was to receive an email last night stating that I was one of the journal editors top 5 picks!!  I couldn't believe it.  I've only had this journal going since May and to have it featured is something pretty cool, if you ask me :D  So, I'm going to say a big thank you in advance to all the people that stop by and say hello and leave comments... I swear, I will try to respond to each and everyone...

Well, last night the Hubby got some practice with the Deep Fryer.  I thought he was going to wait until the weekend to try out the whole deep fried turkey thing (for practice for Thanksgiving day)... But he decided he was going to do it last night.  It turned out really well.  Pretty tasty and suprisingly tender.  He might have cooked it a little bit too long (its like 3 minutes per pound) so next time I think he'll just stay to the recommended time.  I was definetly excited about getting a head start on the Thanksgiving feast though... We pretty much had all the trimmings... LOL.  Mashy potatos, beans, stuffing and even gravy (okay, so it was instant, but it still tasted okay)...  I sooo can't wait until next week!!

***** Countdown to Thanksgiving is 7 Days *****

Speaking of Thanksgiving... We might have one more person joining us forthe evening's festivities.  The Hubby's uncle is wanting to come up from San Francisco to spend the holiday's with us... So, that will make 16 people in my house.  I know it probably doesn't seem too much to some people, but this is my only second Thanksgiving and that is plenty of peopel :D  Luckily, I will be getting some help.

Anywho...

Today is the day that I go to the doctors for my toe... Owwiee.  I really don't wanna, but like I said before, I gotta suck it up and get it done because it sure isn't pretty!!  LOL.  My Hubby thinks that I'm going to come home with only 9 toes this afternoon.  I keep telling him "thanks, that makes me feel great".  LOL.  I know its nothing big... But I still don't like needles.

I decided to put some pictures of our trip to Pismo from this last weekend in this entry.  I've been trying to get AOL Pictures to load up for the last 5 minutes and it isn't really wanting to.  There are sooo many that I was going to use that... But now I'm going to have to use Photobucket and only put a few pictures... For now.

This is my SIL and her girls with Rowan running on the beach

This is Rowan and her cousin Morgan (15mons)... They had a great time playing together last weekend

Miss Rowan playing on the beach for the first time... She sure seemed to love playing in the sand and getting dirty...

Well, I'm not very happy with the way the pictures are coming out from Photobucket.  They seem too blurry for me... So, I will have to try to do the AOL Pictures later on... For some reason, it doesn't want to load... Darn it!!

Miss Rowan is home with her Daddy today.  He actually has a day off!!  They are going to "hang out" and then go to our nieces basketball game this afternoon.  I'm going to meet them there after I have my toe cut on... Yuck Yuck!!  I hope that I'll be able to take Rowan to gymnastics tonight too.  The hubby might have to drive, but she hasn't been in the last 2 weeks because of the whole HFMD (hand foot and mouth disease)... So, we better go tonight.  Even if I'm a big ol' gimp!  LOL.

This weekend Miss Rowan and I are on our own.  The Hubby has decided to work some OT for Christmas money... LOL.  Whatever.  I think he just likes to go out and get the 'bad guys' (as Rowan would say...).  He'll be home during the day but working Friday and Saturday nights undercover... Oh so much fun!  Just as long as he comes home... That is all that matters!!

Oh yes, speaking of this weekend.  We have definetly decided to put our Christmas stuff up!!  I know, I know... Early... But hey, what can you do when you want it up for Thanksgiving day and the Hubby works all 4 days before.  So, that is what we'll be doing this weekend... WOO HOO.

***** Countdown to Christmas Eve is 36 Days *****

Happy Shopping To You All.... Woo Hoo!!

Well, I do have to get some work done today because I will be leaving early.  ::owwiee::  Thank you all again for stopping by and saying Hello!  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

HUGS TO ALL....

Knock-Off Jewelry and Other Updates!!

Okay, have I ever mentioned how much I hate the fog??  Yeah, well, I do... I'll get to that story in a minute.

So, yesterday after work, I stopped and picked up some of the yummiest Mexican food that I have had in a while for my mom, myself and Rowan for dinner.  I don't know if I liked it so much because I've really been wanting something spicy, or if it was just that good... LOL.  But all I can say is that I truly enjoyed my Chicken Melinasa and flour tortillas :D  I did ask for a large order of the cabbage dip... I didn't get that... Instead I received a large order of SALSA... I'm not big on salsa, but it seemed to do the trick of satisfing a craving.  Haha.

I swear, with this pregnancy, I'm sooo different than when I was with Rowan.  I never had heart burn with Ro, I do now.  I didn't have morning sickness too bad with Rowan... Some mornings, I still have the urge to throw up, this late in pregnancy.  My cravings have been pretty strong too, when with Rowan I could just pass them off.  Now, I MUST HAVE IT!!!!

Anywho...

We went to that jewelry party last night... Yeah, a bunch of expensive knock-off jewelry and some decently priced knock-off purses and hand bags.  Some of the jewelry was really pretty... But if you happen to have real stones, you wouldn't want to put the fake ones next to the real ones.  There were some rings that caught my eye, but I wasn't going to pay $45 for something that wasn't even close to being real and besides, I have pretty big fingers (7.5-8 ring size) and all the rings were made for small fingered woman :D

I did happen to come across a few purses that I liked.  They weren't too expensive and I ended up buying a fake Marc Jacob purse in this kinda lime-green fall color.  Its pretty cool looking... I just gotta keep it from being seen by my husband!!  I swear, I'd buy a new purse every week if I could... I'm a purse girl.  Some woman like shoes, I like purses.  I'd rather buy something real, like a Dooney and Bourke or something like that... But Idon't have $230 for one now :D  Maybe I'll get one for Christmas...

Oh to dream....

Last night at the party, we headed back to my mom's house to watch "Gilmore Girls" and "One Tree Hill".  Needless to say, I didn't leave my mom's house until after 10pm!!!  Way too late if you ask me... And Miss Rowan was still very much awake!!  Okay, I'm going to get back to the fog now.  See, I live a whole 10-12 miles away from my mom.  So, it should have only taken me about 10 minutes to get home... In good conditions.  Well, last night the fog was so dense that I couldn't see 20 feet ahead of me!  It literally took me 25 minutes to drive home last night.  I don't think I went over 40mph... UGH.  I was almost tempted to just stay the night at my moms... But that wouldn't have been such a bright idea because I would have had to get up and drive in the dark home to get ready for work.  Darn fog...

Tomorrow I go to the doctors to have my toe worked on... I'm getting kinda nervous.  I don't want to have shots in my toes and I don't want someone cutting it open and what not with me being able to see them do it!!  But, I'm tired of it hurting and looking gross... So, I guess I better do what I have to do to make it better.  Bummer deal...

On a brighter note.  I get my hair done on Friday afternoon.  I think I'm going to leave it dark, but I'd like a few blonde highlights back into it.  Besides, the hubby is desparate to have my hair back to normal (or so he says...).  I've been seeing new pictures of Kelly Clarkson (American Idol girl) and her hair is really cute... Maybe I'll look into doing something like that.

***** Countdown to Thanksgiving is 8 days *****

We are having Thanksgiving at my house again this year.  I wanted to have it there so both sides of my family (mine and hubby's) could be all together.  I don't like to leave my grandparents and mom and dad out... And they would have been if we were to have Thanksgiving at one of my SIL's houses.  So, even though I'm going to be close to the begining of my 7th month, we are having it at my house.  A whole whopping 15-16 people at my house!!! AAHHH.  Where am I going to put them all... LOL.  I can't wait though.  The Hubby is going to try a Deep-Fried turkey this weekend and if it turns out good, he'll be doing one for Thanksgiving.  We will also have a baked one too... But the more food, the happier people will be (especially the hubby and his brothers... lol).  Hmm, I can't wait for them mashy potatos and gravy either!!

***** Countdown to Christmas Eve is 38 Days *****

Woo Hoo!!!  I'm getting soo excited.  I picked up three more presents yesterday.  Okay, so I ordered them on-line... But hey, they'll get to me... So, that means that I only need to get about 8 more presents for the family and finish up Rowan and then work on the Hubby.  Both hard to shop for!!  I have no idea what to get the Hubby.  But we have decided not to by too many toys this year, because she gets spoiled by everyone else.  So, she is getting her bike and probably some books and a few movies and that is it from us, I tell ya!!

My mom did get this magazine from Disneydirect.com and I sooo found something that we are going to have to get Rowan when the baby comes.  You know, as a gift from her baby Zachary.  It is too cute!!  Here is the link.... Baby Doll Set.  Let me know what you think, okay!!??!!  I thought it would be nice for her to have her own baby and all the new toys that goes along with having a baby.... Besides, she loves baby dolls!!

Well, I need to get to work.  I hope all have a great Wednesday.

HUGS TO ALL....

Things That Make You Go Hmm...

Things that make you go "Hmm"...

How can people drive in the fog or the heavy rain with out turning on their lights?  I just don't understand that.  Not only does it help you see them, but it would also help them see... Right???

How come people slam on their breaks on the freeway when the see a Highway Patrol on the side of the road with a car that is already pulled over?  Its not like he is going to jump into his car and come after them... He already has a car pulled over.... Aaahhhh

How come when you are at the grocery store, in the line for the checkout and another checker comes over and says, "I'll help the next customer down here", and every other person besides the the 'next customer' goes to that lane?  What part of "the next customer" do people not understand?

*****Going to stop my "Hmm-ing" right now... Or you could call it my "B****ing...*****

Anywho...

So, our breakthru with Miss Rowan has seemed to hit a wall.  She did go to sleep in her bed last night... But she didn't make it as long last night than she had before.  She went to sleep in her room around 10pm and she ended up waking up at 1245am!!  UGH.  And there was no way she was going to go back to sleep in her bed... I think she had a bad dream or something because her crying was different than her normal whiny cry.  So, she ended up in our bed for the rest of the night... Oh well, we'll just try again tonight.

I swear, I could have killed the Hubby last night.  He made some really great dinner last night (homemade lasagna) and cleaned the house... But around 730pm last night, he decides that he is going to go to work to check his supena (sp?) box to make sure he didn't have court this morning.  Mind you, he was supposed to stop and get me a Rootbeer Float from A&W on the way back (yum yum... been craving those)... Well, when 9pm rolled around and he still wasn't home, I called his cell.  Yeah, can you guess where he was??  Yep, at the back of the PD BS-ing with his friends.  I mentioned to him that he'd be gone already for an hour and a half and he throws out "But there has been sooo much happening since I've been gone"... Mind you, he is just talking about him being gone this weekend and he had just been at work on Thursday!!  UGH.  Men.  So, needless to say, I didn't get my Rootbeer Float and he didn't return home until 950pm!!  Aaarrggg....

Still gotta love him :D

Tonight I'm going to some kind of jewelry party with my Mom... Of course Miss Rowan will be with us.  I guess this is some kind of new fad, like the charm bracelets or something.  It is supposed to be something like imposter I'll let you all know how it is... And if I purchased anything cute... LOL.

***** Christmas Eve is 38 Days Away *****

Just a friendly reminder for all of you out there (hehe... Lisa... I'm just as big of a procrastinator as everyone else... )

Speaking of Christmas... My Hubby already wants to put our Christmas stuff up this week.  Is he crazy???  He really wants to have it all up for Thanksgiving, because we are having it our house... And because he works the four days before Thanksgiving, he wants to do it this week!!  I'm sure by Friday or Saturday, it will start to look like Christmas in my house!  How funny...

Well, I need to run.  I have too much to do today... I hope all have a great Tuesday.

HUGS TO ALL... JENNIFER

Pismo... A Possible Breakthru... And Ramblings

Happy Monday to you All... I hope your weekend was great!!

Our weekend in Pismo was great.  The weather was wonderful and the company was great.  We left Friday morning at 10am and got to Pismo around 3pm.  Miss Rowan did a really good job in the car, both there and back.  Truthfully, I was really suprised because she had never been stuck in a car that long.

We made sure we stopped for potty breaks and actually set up the Hubby's laptop on the middle console so Rowan could watch movies.  I think she really liked that... Now it is giving us the idea of putting a DVD player into our car.  But because we have a sunroof, it would be hard... So, that might have to wait until we get a new car sometime next year.

Friday night we went to a local resturant called "The Cracked Crab".  It was a really cute place... The food was alright.  Just a little expensive for my taste.  A dinner salad was $8!!!  Oh my goodness... It wasn't all that big either.  The hubby wanted to share a "Bucket For Two".  It consisted of Crab legs, Slipper Lobster and Shrimp.  The only bad thing about it is that it is cooked Cajun style and with Sausage and Corn Cobbettes.  When the gal dumped the bucket out on the table (that is how they serve it) I literally lost my appetite from the smell and look of the sausage.  YUCKY!!  So, I only ended up eating just my salad and some bread.  Ugh... I don't even want to think about it now... That smell just got to me horribly bad :D  Darn pregnant nose... LOL.

We also went to a local play house called "The Great American Melodrama".  We watched the play, "Hunchback of Notre Dame" and then the actors but on a muscial review.  It was really great.... Just too funny!!  Rowan actually sat through the whole thing and seemed to enjoy it very much.  She just loves music and dancing... We were there from 8-1045pm!!  She just did sooo awesome... Her Daddy and I were very proud of her.  Even the actors were suprised she didn't have a melt down (the mentioned it to the Hubby on the way out)... How great is that!!

Saturday we went walking down around the shops in Pismo.  It is really a cute cute place.  We went to lunch at Splash and Miss Rowan really enjoyed sharing Clam Chowder with her Nana.  I stuck to Chicken Strips (even though I LOVE Clam Chowder) because I didn't know if I should have too much of it or not (the whole shellfish thing and being pregnant)... After we had spent some time shopping and walking around, we went down to the beach by our hotel room and enjoyed the beautiful day.  This was the first time Rowan had ever been to a beach, so taking off her shoes and walking in the sand was a new experience for her!  Her Auntie and Cousins actually took her to the water and let her play in the surf... She just loved it!!  ::I do have pics... They'll be up soon:: I even let loose and walked around barefoot with my pants rolled up... That must have been a site... LOL.  Waddling all along the beach, it was too funny.

We also celebrated our Niece's 9th birthday this weekend.  I think she had a blast because we went to the patio at the hotel and had cake and let her open her gifts.  She got money, a Nintendo Advance SP and a CD/FM Radio (from us).  I think celebrating her birthday in a different place besides home was something she'll forever remember.  Heck, I still remember celebrating my 12th birthday in Disneyland.  That was a blast!!

Basically, Pismo was a great trip.  There are a few things I'd like to forget, but this isn't the place to put those problems in... Just imagine getting 12 people of all the same family in one spot for too long and there is bound to be a person or couple that has a problem... But other than that, this weekend was a blast.  I'll definetly want to go back again... Maybe next November :D

We did have a breakthru in Pismo though... Actually there were two of them.  The first one was Rowan slept in her own bed, all by herself.  In our room there were 2 Queen beds and she actually slept in her own.  We didn't have a problem either night putting her to bed in there.  It was actually great not having her in bed... Sad to say, but it makes it a littlebit more comfortable for me ;)  So, last night, we actually got her to sleep in her own bed at home with little problems!!  She did fuss a little bit, but we just kept focusing on the fact that she is a Big Girl and what not and she seemed to understand.  She didn't make it the whole night in her room, waking up around 230am, but hey, it is a start.  I think with some work, she'll be sleeping through the night by Christmas.  I just have to be strong (because it breaks my heart hearing her cry and what not)...

Another breakthru was with the Hubby!!  He actually talked to me about names and I think we actually decided on one (for now that is, lol)... I believe our Little Man is going to be named Zachary Justice.  I want it to be Zachary Justice Matthew, but the hubby is against having his middle name in there for some reason.  I guess I have about 15 weeks to get him to relent and let me put that Matthew in there.  But for now, his name will be Zachary Justice.  ::awwww::

Anywho...

Other than Pismo our weekend was pretty quiet.  I seem to be getting larger and larger each day.  I will definetly have to post some new belly pics pretty soon.  As of now, I'm 24 weeks and 2 days.  Only about 14-15 weeks left... How exciting!!  We decided after Christmas that we will start working on his room.  We don't want to go and start a project before the Holidays... That would be too hectic if you ask me.

Speaking of Christmas... only 39 days until Christmas Eve!!

We still have so much shopping to do.  I've actually only bought, like, um, 3 gitfs!!  How sad is that... I better get going on that shopping.  But it is so hard to do with out some help.  I guess I'll be having to drag the hubby along one day and do some mad-major shopping.

Well, I've been rambling enough for now... I'll definelty try to get some pictures from this weekend up soon.  But until then... I hope everyone has a great Monday.

HUGS TO ALL....

Veterans Day and Some Updates...

Today is Veterans day and I just wanted to thank all who has served and done their duty for our country... Past and Present.

I've grown up all my life hearing stories of war and military life.  My Grandfather (now 87 years old) served in both WWII and in the Korean War flying B-24 Liberators He was part of the 781st Bomb Sqd Crew, with the plane called the P.O.'d Indian.  This is the picture that was on the side of his airplane.  He has had many adventures and tons of history behind him... I respect him (and all other veterans) for everything he did to help our future.

Thank You Lt. Col. Benjamin Donahue...  I'll love you and thank you for forever!

Not a great pic... But my grandfather is on the left hand side in the back row...

Anywho...

Yesterday seemed to stay an Icky Wednesday pretty much the whole day.  The weather didn't change and my mood really didn't either... I know, I know.  But I did go home and try to get out of my 'dark mood' (as my mother likes to call them)... It didn't happen and I basically went to bed around 730pm to make sure I didn't say or do anything to be a royal "witch" to either the Hubby or Rowan.

But on a Brighter Note:  I'm feeling VERY HAPPY today... no "Dark Mood" here... All smiles and sunshine... Even if it is raining outside :D

Tomorrow we are heading to Pismo Beach (CA) for our family vacation.  I can't wait.  I'm only worried about it being a long drive for Miss Rowan (and mybladder... lol).  She tends to get bored and what not... Luckily we are driving with my in-laws who have a vehicle that is higher off the ground than my PT Cruiser.  That way she can look out the window and have some great stuff to watch for... Usually Cows... Haha.  I'm guess the trip is going to take us about 5 hours with stop for lunch in there (and maybe a few pee-pee stops).  But I'm thinking it will be all worth it!  Even if it will be raining on Saturday.  ::crossing fingers for the littlest rain as possible::

It looks like we will be taking back Kesy, the dog that the Hubby brought down from the training facility.  Sad, I know... But we aren't able to give her the attention that she needs now and it isn't fair to her.  So hopefully, she'll be able to go to a wonderful family who will be able to give her more than we can at the moment.  She is still such a puppy... Plus, her and our Lola dog are still having issues about who is the dominant female.  In our eyes, it is Lola... But that doesn't always mean they understand that.  I'm a little sad about having to give her back, but I didn't get attatched for a reason... Still, I'll miss her cute little black face and her annoying bark... LOL.

Speaking of Lola.  That darn mutt (not really a mutt, pure Rottie she is) woke us up this morning throwing up!!  We have no idea what she got into, besides the cat litter box... YUCKY... to make her throw up as much as she was.  We sent her outside (poor baby, it was raining) and she finally stopped... But it worries me because we have no clue why she was... Hmm...

 Poor Lola Dog....

We are going to go to Target tonight (no gym again because of Ro's HFMD) to pick up our niece a birthday present since we are celebrating it this weekend in Pismo.  She is turning 9!!!  I've only known her going-on 4 years and she is the sweetest little girl and I can't believe how much she has changed in these 4 years!!  Her sister got a portable CD/Radio player for her birthday 2 weeks ago and that is all she has been talking about... So, That is what we will be getting her.  I'm thinking she is going to enjoy it.  Plus, that means the girls won't be fitting over her sisters!!

Well, I've been putting off working for a while now... Guess I better just get to it!  I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and a GREAT weekend.  I'll definetly be posting on Sunday/Monday when we get back... I'll have plenty of pics too, so don't worry :D

HUGS TO ALL....

Icky Wednesday...

It is icky this morning... It rained last night, so the roads are nasty and the weather is nasty and it just looks plain nasty outside.  Its an Icky Wednesday if you ask me.

This morning, I was soo rushed.  I hate being rushed.  And it wasn't like I didn't get up in enough time either.  I was up in plenty enough time.  But this morning, I had to deal with Rowan being up too.  So, that ment I had to get myself ready and try to deal with her (and get her stuff ready while she was with me instead of while she is asleep as normal)... Mind you, the Daddy was awake, but not helping.... UGH... I also needed to iron my shirt.  Get this, I asked my Hubby if he'd do it... And he replied that it was too cold to get out of bed to do it (as I'm standing there with a towel and wet head)... So, I start to do it.  And what does he do???  He gets up and goes onto the computer!!!  But I thought it was toooo cold to get up!  UGH.

MEN!  You can't live with them and you can't live with out them... right??

Don't get me wrong... I love my Hubby to death... I even came home yesterday to a clean house and a fire in the fireplace.  How nice is that??  But hey, if it is too cold to get up to iron my shirt... Then it is too cold to get up and get on the comp.  HAHA.

So, basically, it is an Icky Wednesday because I wasn't able to do my hair and I had to deal with a cranky child that was up way too early for her own good.

Anywho...

I can't believe how many comments I got about the baby name entry.  I think that is the most I have ever gotten!  LOL.  I do appreciate all the ideas and thoughts on the names that we are looking at.  Unfortunetly, the Hubby isn't really wanting to talk names at this point.  He says it is too early to talk names.  I told him we only have 15-16 weeks (scheduled c-sections usually happen at 38-39weeks along)... And he said when we get to about 5 weeks out we'll start talking!  What is that madness???  I want a name and I want it soon!!  LOL.  I guess I'm just impatient.  I guess I'll stick to calling the baby "Little Man" or "Whatshisname" :D

Man, I'm doing a lot of complaining right now in this entry... So, I'll take that as my cue to leave.  Haha.  I hope everyone has a Fab Wednesday... And not an ICKY one like me.

HUGS TO ALL... Will update later if need be and if in a better mood :)

Baby Names...

I'm starting to try to get my Hubby to think about names for the Little Man... He doesn't want to talk about it... And he thinks HE will be naming him... But what he doesn't know is that I have other plans...

So, I've come up with a few names and was wanting to get your opinion.  Let me know what you think of these or any other boy names...

::not in any particular order in favorites... just in alphabetical::

Blake

Christian

Derek (the Hubby's name)

Dillon (or Dillan)

Dylan

Jonathan

Justin

Regan

Zachary

These are all that I've come up with... What ever the first name is will most likely be paired with Matthew as the middle name.  So, keep that in mind if you are going to give some ideas :)

Thanks for your help all!!

HUGS TO YOU!!

Cravings....

So yeah, I went to the grocery store and spent about $80 on food for the house...  Mostly dinner stuff with a few goodies... Like Chocolate Milk for Rowan and some other stuff....

But get this... I DIDN'T want anything that I bought for dinner.  I realized right as I was pulling away from the store that nothing sounded good to me now that I was leaving.  I didn't want chicken... I didn't want something made with hamburger...

I didn't want any of it...

What I did want was pretty obvious to me...

JACK N THE BOX TACOS and a JUMBO JACK!!!

What the heezy?????

I thought I couldn't live with anything else but that for dinner... Man, was I right ;)  LOL.

So, I caved... I know, I'm bad... But what can I say, I'm almost 6 months pregnant and I gotta have what I want!!! AND NOW!!!!   ::giggle::

Just thought I'd share with you all....

I bet tomorrow will be something different... But you never know...

HUGS TO ALL!!

Monday Oh No's....

It's Monday... And my day has already been filled with "Oh No's"!!

The hubby wanted me to wake him up at 8am so he could get up and be at court by 9am.

I didn't remember to call him until just about 5 minutes ago... And that would make the time 8:35am!!!  Oh No.  I'm such a horrible wife ::giggle::

Hey, that is what an alarm clock is for... I can't always remember everything :)

Another "Oh No" was for Miss Rowan...

She received this little beanie-bear type stuffed cat from her "Auntie" for Halloween and has taken a liking to it... She seems to want to take it every where with her and has even named it Stinker (one of our cats' names)...

Well, this morning, she couldn't find it and she didn't want to leave the house with out it.  So, I tried to bribe her with other stuff... And it was basically a big Oh No because she wasn't going with out it.  Finally, as I'm heading out the door, I decide to check the den and it is in there!! WOO HOO.  She was very happy and even laughed.  Haha.  All ended well...

Oh yes... I did find something to eat last night.  My mom and dad are changing their diet to a more European diet (pasta, olive oil and less read meat)... So, my mom was telling me what they were having and I decided to bite off that.  I sauted some onion in a pan, took a can of stewed tomatos (Italian style) and some tomato paste (to thicken it up) and made a sauce.  Then I just put that over some pasta and had me some spaghetti :)  LOL.  It was pretty tasty... And a little healthier than going and getting fast food.

Today I'm definetly going to the grocery store... We need some food in the house.  I figure I'll pick up just what we need and that is about it... ::wishing paid day was here::  But I'll just get enough to have dinner for the next couple of nights, cause I don't have to worry about this weekend...

CAUSE WE ARE HEADING TO PISMO.... WOO HOO....

Well, because it is Monday morning and that I have plenty to do... I'm going to take the cue and head out and hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

HUGS TO ALL...

Sunday, Sunday...

Today has been once again, a lazy Sunday in our house.  It is overcast and pretty chilly here... So, why not spend the day in bed or on the couch with a blanket??  LOL.  That is what we've been doing pretty much all day.

The hubby was up earlier than I expected him today.  I totally forgot that it is Sunday... And Sunday means football.  That crazy guy forfits sleep to keep up on his Fantasy Football and to watch the games.  I swear, he won't be doing that when he is older... I guess him being 24 helps out just a little bit in that department (or so I have been told).  So, we actually got to spend some time with him today... If laying in bed watching football counts.  ::giggle::

Right now, it is just me and the Robonator.  She isn't in a Princess mood today... It is more of "I'm-out-to-clobber-everything" mood... So, she isn't the Princess, but rather the Robonator.  I guess being locked up in the house isn't the best thing for the almost 3 year old (she has started saying that instead of saying 2).  Oh well, tomorrow is another day... Hopefully one where she can go outside...

::side note, just checked the weather... expecting rain... great::

I have no idea what I'm going to do for dinner tonight.  I swear, there is nothing in the house.  I guess I could pull the old Grilled Cheese sandwich or something like that... But I'm not even sure if I have cheese!!!  Geeze, I guess I better be going to the grocery store soon!!  Plus, Miss Rowan seems to be wanting to eat everything in sight (must be a growth spurt) so there is really nothing in the house... UGH.

I'm really looking forward to this evening's TV though.  "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is on and it looks great... Something to do with a family with deaf parents and a child that is autistic and blind!  So, I've scheduled that to be DVR'd so the hubby can watch it when he gets home and "Desparte Housewives" too... We usually watch it together, but I'm not going to watch it with out him... I guess I'll just have to wait to find out what happens this week :)

Something else that I'm looking forward to is this coming weekend...

We are off to Pismo Beach for the first time!!  Actually, the whole side of his family is going!  That is right, there will be 12 people going to Pismo for the weekend.  The hubby and I have never been and his mom and dad wanted the whole family to go away for the weekend... So, I guess we are all going away!  We are leaving Friday and coming home Sunday.  I just home the hubby can find someone to cover his shift for the weekend or we are SOL.  ::crossing fingers::  But I can't wait... I think it will be sooo much fun!

Well, I really don't have much else to write about, my mind seems fried... I've gotta figure something out for dinner and that is taking up pretty much all of my working brain cells at the moment (hehe).  I hope all had a great weekend!

HUGS TO ALL....

Saturday....

I'm tired today.  I can't wait to go to bed... But it is still a little bit too early for that.  I have to finish watching COPS and then watch "Third Watch" that I DVR'd the night before... Then I can go to bed... But for right now, I'm tired.

Today we went to Davis to watch my brother play some Hockey with the UC Davis club/league.  I've never driven to Davis (just a little outside Sacramento) by myself and my parents had driven up earlier in the morning... So, I was a little nervous.  I don't mind driving, I just don't like not knowing where I'm going.  I always seem to not believe in myself when it comes to where I'm going and what not.

We did make it to Davis though.  Just in the nick-of-time too... We got there right as my brother's team was going onto the rink.  Whew.  And that was with a pit-stop for Missy Rowan so she could go pee.  LOL... I didn't mind though, my bladder was pretty full and being kicked by the Little Man... LOL.

She didn't like to hear that I might have had to stop on the side of the road for her though.  We were way in the middle of no-where and I told her if I couldn't find a potty room, she'd have to go on the side of the road.  I don't know if she just didn't understand me or if she didn't like that idea, because I got this look of disgust and a big "WHAT?"... LMAO.  I guess she isn't going to be much like her Mama... Who had no problem doing that when she was younger.  ::giggle::

Miss Rowan sure loved to watch her Uncle play some Hockey (its Roller, by the way, not ice)... She seemed very into it... Even yelling "GO DAVIS" at one point.  It was too cute!  I wish they had done a little better... But it was still fun to go watch and hang out with my brother...

The drive home wasn't that great though.  Missy Rowan did fall asleep no more than 5 minutes away from the rink... But like I said before, I'm not good with driving in places I don't know... And being night time, it made it all the worse.

Yep folks, Jennifer pretty much messed up her whole drive home!  LOL.  I started off fine, then thought I missed my exit, only to realize that it was actually coming up... Got that one fine... Got about an hour down the road and realized another exit I needed was coming up... This exit is tricky, so I was trying hard to remember where it was and to make sure I didn't miss it... What did I do???  I missed it!  AAHHH.  Then... I keep going... Call my mom, she tells me to take another exit by a certain number... Then when I drive past an exit that has the place where I wanna go, but by a different number, I call her back... Only to find out that I wanted that exit and now was heading in the totally wrong direction!!!

::not blaming Mom at all... LOVE YOU MOM::

So, after having a pregnancy-meltdown (yes, I do have them.. fun) on the side of the busy, busy freeway... My dad tells me the right way to go... And I end up home, only about 15 minutes longer than it would have taken me if I didn't miss my exit.  See, I don't have any confindence in myself when I drive in a new place... IT IS HORRIBLE!!!  But at least I got home... LOL.

Wow... what a day!! I'm glad I have no plans for tomorrow... I'm definetly going to have to recoupe all day tomorrow... LOL.  I'm such a dork!!

Well, that is pretty much my update for now... I can't think of too much and I'm really wanting to go watch "Third Watch".  I hope all have/had a wonderful Saturday and enjoy the rest of their weekend!!

HUGS TO ALL....
