Baby Names...

I'm starting to try to get my Hubby to think about names for the Little Man... He doesn't want to talk about it... And he thinks HE will be naming him... But what he doesn't know is that I have other plans...

So, I've come up with a few names and was wanting to get your opinion.  Let me know what you think of these or any other boy names...

::not in any particular order in favorites... just in alphabetical::

Blake

Christian

Derek (the Hubby's name)

Dillon (or Dillan)

Dylan

Jonathan

Justin

Regan

Zachary

These are all that I've come up with... What ever the first name is will most likely be paired with Matthew as the middle name.  So, keep that in mind if you are going to give some ideas :)

Thanks for your help all!!

HUGS TO YOU!!

I really like Dillon.  Its fun picking out the name, I bet.  With my son I didn't get to pick out his name, my ex's family has a tradition where the first born son is named after his grandfather.  So my son's name is Robert Wilbur.........but we call him Robbie, that I was adament about.  Anyway, good luck.

very nice strong masculine names!  all wonderful choices.  luckily your hubby has a nice name too, incase he names him after  himself.  If I had a son, he would have been named after my husband.... it's just nice when they have a nice name to be named after!

I love the name Zachary, but it's my son's name.  I also love the name Logan. Logan Matthew has a nice ring to it.  Good luck with your name hunt.  My DH and I NEVER agreed on names.  He was heckbent on having a "jr", but I said NO.  I went through the 9 months, and the labor, as far as I was concerned, it was my decision! :) I just never let him know that!! LOL.

I love Christopher, goes well with Matthew too. :) Of course I am parcial to Alexander. A friend of mine has a boy by the name of Josiah which means "little king" and is from the Bible. I love old fashioned and Biblical names. :) This froma mom who has an Alexander, Emily and a Kaitlynn. :)

Not fond of Blake Matthew (would be great if you switched them around though).  Derek is great though.  If we have a son (whenever we have kids) we want to name him Corbin Michael.  Have a wonderful day.

I love Dylan. My husband thought he was going to name our child if it was a boy! Thank goodness is was a girl...he was not going to budge on the name COONY! I don't even know if that is how it is spelled! Thank god for small miracles!

I was reading back through your journal (congrats on making top 5 this week)... wanna know a secret? Pick a bunch of absurd, awful names and one or two that you really like. Give list to hubby. He is bound to go for the reasonable names (the ones you really want). LOL Worked for me. Awful name suggestions... Gaylord, Eggbert, Homer, Francis, Maurice, Wendell, Oscar, Leonard, you get the idea. LOL
