~Promised Pictures to Come~

Well, I know I promised some pictures of the kiddos... I will be posting them soon, but for now, please enjoy the following...

I took these last night, while my family was getting ready for bed.  Miss Rowan is a camera ham, even at 915 at night!!  Derek, of course didn't want to take part, but I snuck him in there!!  Hehe... Oops, he'll kick my booty now... And of course, Zachary, fast asleep at 9pm!

   
   
    

As you can see, I'm going with an Independence Day theme for my J.  Thats part of the reason why I'm not posting the Picture People pictures of the kiddos...  See, I asked my good friend Nae {Made by Nae}to jazz them up with a July 4th theme!!

So, hopefully, Poor Nae will get over her icky sicky heady and make me something wonderful for my sidebar!!  Isn't she the greatest???  I think we should all be treating Miss Nae to something or other... A Internet Thank You party???

Today is Thursday, woo hoo for me... My weekend starts soon and I can't wait!  So many things to do this weekend.  Tomorrow morning at 9am, my mom and I are heading to the nail place for Fills and Pedis... Then I will be off to Costco for the food for the BBQ.  Thank goodness everyone is bringing stuff, because I can't afford to feed 30 some-ot people!!  Buying the hot dogs, hamburgers, buns,drinks and other condiments (not to mention what ever else I pick up) will be costing me some dough!!

I also get to take the Princess to school tomorrow!  I take pride and get enjoyment out of seeing my daughter go off to preschool.  She is seeming to enjoy it so much.  Although, I have noticed a few little things she is picking up from school that I rather not.  But hey, as long it isn't too bad and we can correct her, its worth her going to school!  She did ask me if I'd take her to lunch again after I pick her up... Of course, I can't say No to that... She is just too sweet!!

Well, I suppose I should get my butt into gear.  I will definetly post those pictures ASAP... And possibly add a little more to the entries and what not...

~Its Almost Time~

Well, the Fourth of July is just right around the corner... I love the Fourth for many reasons.  So, its a Fun Fun time for me.  We are planning on having a BBQ at my house with Family and Friends.  Swimming, Food and Fireworks... Oh I can't wait!!

So, I'm sure you all were expecting to see pictures of Barbie and I.  Well, I guess we did Jinx things, because we weren't able to get together!!  We are so bummed!  Blame it on logistic problems and what not... Its not like Barbie didn't try to get over to here to meet me... They were just on the wrong side of the Hills to make it my way!  When she called at 445pm, she was close to Los Banos, about an hour and forty-five minutes to the South East of me... She was past our place and already in the right direction of "Home"... So, needless to say, we are trying to plan a "Next Time" already!!

Oh well... There is always, Next Time... Right??

Anywho, I finally got my books by Jennifer Weiner yesterday!  I'm really happy too, because I am just pages away from finishing the book that I am reading.  I'm kind of embarrassed to say what book I'm reading, because I literally took it over from Derek.  See, he wanted to read this book, an Autobiography, by a certain Woman.  Okay... I'll spill...Well, its a book by Jenna Jameson, called, "How to Make Love Like A Porn Star".  Haha... Its a pretty good book, but if you are offended by vulgar language and sexual explictive writting, then I suppose it isn't for you.  I didn't mind it though.  She has had a HORRIBLE life, basically "Road Hard and Put Away Wet" type of life.  On Drugs, Off of Drugs, On and then Off again.  Stripper turned Porn Star turned Stripper and then back to Porn Star again!!  Whew, her story literally made me tired just reading it!!

I took the kiddos back to The Picture People yesterday afternoon for their Retakes!  I have a feeling that they'll turn out really good.  I didn't stick around to wait this time, but the girl took her time and made sure the kids were looking at the camera and smiling (if Zach would).  I can't wait to get to the mall this afternoon to look at them!  And I think its the best that the negatives the last time around got jacked, because these pics are going to be way better and I'm getting a FREE pose!!  That is an 8x10, two 5x7's and a page of Wallets!!  Thats a whole lot of pictures :)

Well, I know this is short and sweet, but because I wasn't at work yesterday I have much to do.  I hope everyone has a Wonderful Day... Much Love to You All!

I'm such a Naughty Girl!  I can't believe that I haven't done an entry in the last 4 days!  I guess I was too busy doing much of Nothing to get my butt on here and actually post something.

I was able to get on and read every one else's journals, but neglected mine.  I'm such a Dodo-Bird.  But it was a pretty nice weekend... All together :)

Okay, so you'd all be proud of me, because I went and got the kids' pictures taken on Friday.  Unfortunetly, the stupid negative machine at Picture People killed our negatives and we weren't able to get anything!!  We weren't even able to see how cute they turned out or anything.  I know they would have been too.  We did a Red, White and Blue theme.  They kids matched and I even brought balloons to sit on the floor around them!  Zachary wasn't the happiest camper (he was hungry!), but he did well.  I was ticked in the end though.  In fact, I wasn't happy from the begining.  We had an appointment at 440pm and didn't get in until 515pm... So, that had me Hot already.  We were at the mall for a total of 3 hours before we found out that our pics were ruined.  Ugh... Oh well.  We had a nice dinner... So, that made up for it!!

We do go back on Tuesday for re-takes and I'm going to be calling the Store Manager to see what they will be willing to do for us.  They did mention a Free pose- which supposedly includes an 8x10, two 5x7's and a page of wallets.  Hey, I don't mind... Bring on the Free Stuff... It just means more pics of my beautiful kids :o)

Tuesday should be a Fun Day for more than the Picture Reason too.  If all goes well and everything works out for us, Miss Barbie from "A Ticket to Ride" and I should be meeting!!  She'll be coming from Arcata, where her Sissy moved to, on her way home with her Son... So, if it goes well, she'll be making a pit stop on Hwy. 99 for a meeting with the Pickle Family :)  How exiciting!!  I'm hoping to talk to her today... Gotta get the scoop on when and where... But I'm guessing because I'll probably be at the mall anyways, we'll just meet there and enjoy the resturant there!!  I'll be sure to bring the camera with me to get pictures to share with you all!

Anywho, what else did I do this weekend?  Oh yes.  Saturday, my family (minus Derek who was working) went to the Bay Area to visit with my Grandparents.  It was a very nice visit... With a lunch of Chinese Food... And then we were on our way home again.  The kids did just fine with the hour and a half ride... Although Rowan has started with the whole "Are we there yet" thing!!  Haha... I can't believe it, she is only 3!!

Derek took her to school this morning.  He just called me to let me know that he dropped her off and she did really well.  He said that she was kinda acting shy, but when she saw one of her "teachers" hanging something, she asked "What cha doing?"  The "teacher" responded with "Hanging this picture, would you like to help?" and of course my ever helpful daughter "Yes!!" and so, I guess she ended up helping her hang the pic!  Haha... I just love it.  I swear, that little girl loves to help people do anything.  In fact, she'll sneak into our bedroom, make our bed and then come out screaming, "I made your bed!!  Come see, Come see."  She is just cute... And actually does a pretty swell job :o)

Yesterday was our quiet day at home.  My parents took off to visit my brother and his girlfriend up in Davis, so it was just the four of us at home.  We pretty much didn't do anything... Well, okay, we went to Home Depot around noon and picked up some really pretty blue pots (that match our pool tile wonderfully) to put out in our backyard, but that was about it.  We didn't even have a "Real Dinner" last night... Just some beans and cheese quesidilla's.  Yum Yum.  And my Husband, who just has to have a full course dinner, enjoyed it... haha...

Well, I've gotta run... Many Many things to do.  Gotta pay some bills- my own and the companies- and do some Excell projects.  So, I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

~What I Need~

This, is what I need.  I need my own personal library for all the books that I have started to collect and read.  I need a room, with at least two bookcases that go from the floor to the ceiling, so I can fill them with the books that I have read and the ones that I'm going to read in the future!!

Derek has said that he doesn't want bookcases in the front room, which is a bummer.  Because I think two really pretty, tall bookcases would look great on a bare wall that we have.  But I guess I'll have to apease him and find one that will go in our den/office once my parents move out.  Until then, I'll keep stacking up the books all over the house so that he might finally break down and tell me I can have one in our frontroom!!

Am I horrible or what?  Oh well, he drives me crazy... Can't I drive him crazy??

I finished all the books that I picked up a month or so ago.  I read, "Star" by Pamela Anderson, "The Notebook" and "Good in Bed".  So, I got online yesterday at Amazon.com, after all the great ideas that everyone gave me, and ordered myself two new books.  I decided to stay with an author that I know I like and ordered two books by Jennifer Weiner.  So, in a few days I should be getting "In Her Shoes" and "Little Earthquakes".  Hopefully those will keep me occupied until July 16/17th when I get "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".  Hehe.  I'm like a little child on Christmas morning.  I can't wait!

Poor Miss Rowan had a hard time going down for the evening last night.  She was put to bed (in her room!!) at 915 last night.  Well, when I went to bed at 10pm, she was still awake.  Oh, I was so frustrated.  Then around 1015, I was laying in bed reading, with my door open, and I thought I heard what sounded like pages turning in a book.  Well, it wasn't my pages.  So, I got up and walked down the hall... What do I see??  Rowan lying in the dark (the hallway light has to stay on though) "reading" her Disney Princess book!!!  Oh goodness, I grabbed the book from her and told her she needed to go to sleep.  No more books!!  So, I go back to bed and a few minutes later I hear it again!  I find her again, reading another book!!  That was it.  I told her if she didn't go to sleep, she'd be getting a Spanking!!

So, what does she do?  She starts crying and pulling the "I Love You Mommy" card.  It breaks my heart... But she needs to learn that sleeping in her room is something that she needs to do.  And something that Mommy needs... lol.  So, she ended up having to go to the bathroom and then going to bed.  Finally.  But I would have to say that she didn't get to sleep until about 1030pm!!  Way late... She was still sound asleep with her Daddy this morning when I left.  I hope that she slept in a little bit to make up for the lost sleep last night!

Well, I think Mother Nature finally gave up smoking that shite she was on.  She is finally making it warmer than the mid-70's here.  We are looking at possibly hitting low to mid-90's today!!  Woo Hoo.  But this weekend it will be slighty cooler than normal.  Oh well, as long as it is nice for July 4th, that is all that matters.  But now that I've said that, it will more than likely Rain!!

Yeppers, July 4th is just around the corner.  We'll be having a BBQ at my house this year.  I guess my BIL was tired of having it at his house, so we picked up the slack and are going to throw the Bash!!  It will just be our family (17 people!!) and maybe some friends... Who knows, I just don't want a Big Ol' Bash with too many people to feed and worry about!!  Luckily, we always do a Pot Luck type of deal... So I won't have to worry too much about food.

Oh yes, something very exciting could possibly take place in the next week or so!!  Not to Jinx anything and what not, but this Pickle gal could possibly be meeting the Ticket Lady pretty soon!!  Oh how exciting!!  So, keep your fingers crossed so that there could perhaps be another J-Land meeting :o) 

Hey guys, I don't know if many of you converse of have contact with SloMo or not...  But has anyone heard from her?  Is she doing good???  I surely miss her entries!!  But nothing, not even journaling, can stand in the way of Family Duty.  So, if anyone has heard anything, please pass some information on my way, okay!?!

Well, that is what my mom and I should have been doing yesterday evening.  But I guess Fate had a different idea for us.  Maybe She was mad at me because I didn't pick the Dog Poo up like I had told Derek I would.  Maybe She didn't want my mom and I to have fun... Who knows?  The point is, we didn't get to golf.  We went all the way to the golf course and found out that they had run out of balls for the driving range and they didn't know when they'd be picked up and the machine loaded again!  Such a bummer...

So, I got to go home and pick up Dog Poo.  See, Fate, that nasty lady, did have it out for me!!

Rowan went off to her Second Day of School this morning.  I wasn't able to take her though... But she did okay, her Daddy said.  I made sure she looked cute in her little outfit and fed her breakfast though!!  Can't go to school on an empty tummy ;o)  What kind of mother would I be if I did... lol...

I'll be able to take her on Friday though!  I'm excited too, because I told her I'd take her to get Lunch afterwards :o)  Lunch for her will consist of a McDonald's Happy Meal, but hey, what ever makes the kid happy, ya know!  So, she'll look forward to that all day long...

Oh yes... I was supposed to tell you all Hi from someone!!  Nadine, the gal that does all the wonderful Mirror and Votives }}N2Glass{{ IM'ed me yesterday and asked me to tell everyone Hi...

It is a Quiet Day today.  Not too much going on, which is a good thing.  But sometimes, when it is too quiet, my mind starts to wonder... lol... Then I can totally get off track and that makes getting back to work even harder!  Ugh... Just one of those days I suppose ;o)

Well, I know this isn't much, but truthfully, I have no more to say!  I have some excel stuff I have to work on to, so I gotta run!  I hope you all have a great day, keep them entries coming so I have something to read when I get off task... Haha!!

~Ah, Tuesday~

Well, Miss Rowan had a pretty good first day at School!  She really seemed to enjoy herself and opened up to the whole place around 915am, according to the 'teachers'.  She said they got to play outside and that she painted a picture, but "it had to stay there to dry".  I guess she did have one Low Point during the day though.  Nothing bad or anything, but I guess the 'teacher' threw her Fruit Snacks away before she finished.  Hmm, not exactly sure why.  I can only guess that she wasn't done when Snack Time was and that is why they got canned.  Oh well.  I told her to "eat them faster" next time... haha.

I did ask Rowan if she wanted to go back on Wednesday.  It didn't suprise me that she said "Yes".  I knew she'd have a good time.  We also asked her if she made any friends, she said yes, but when we asked her what their names were, she said, "I dunno".  Haha... Kids... They could care less!  As long as they are having fun, who cares what their names are!!

Last night she had gym.  It was skills check off week and she seemed to do good.  In the 5 months that she has been in the class, this is the first time she has made it to Skills Check Off Day.  Oops!  Oh well, she did well and I'm sure she will move up levels soon :)  She always seems to enjoy it too.  Even with the crazy "sisters" (two unrelated girls that are adopted by their 'mother') fighting and running around crazy!  They started getting into it and the teacher put Rowan in between them!!  I was sitting there thinking, I hope she doesn't get smacked because it isn't going to be my fault if she takes them down... lol... Puts them in a headlock or armbar or something!  That's what they get for fighting my kid :o)

The kiddos were up later than normal last night!  Derek and Rowan spent some time out on the front lawn doing Cart-Wheels and playing around.  Our neighbor came by with her son that is a few months younger than Rowan, so they played also.  And of course, when the Ice Cream Lady came by, Rowan had to have Ice Cream so Derek bought her and her 'friend' one.  They got it every where... It was too cute!  Supposedly they are supposed to come back today so that the kiddos can swim, but we'll see.

My mom and I are planning on going to the driving range this evening.  I can't wait, even though some muscles in my arms are sore from Sunday's woffle ball bashing :)  Derek and my Dad went last night... So tonight is the Girl's Turn!!  We'll probably get some looks from the "Good Ol Boys" that go out there, wondering why two women are out there!!  Yes, that is what kind of place we live around... Where every "important" person is some how related to all the other "important" people... And if you don't have the "right last name" you don't matter... And well, shite, if you are a woman, then you are SOL.  Seriously... Good Ol Hicktown USA.

Well, it's Tuesday, so if I'm lucky, I'll get my paycheck!  Woo Hoo... I surely would like that.  Bills need to be paid and groceries need to be bought.  Gotta plan out some dinners and have some snacky stuff in the house.  You all know what I mean, especially those of you with kids!  Rowan is a bottom-less pit when it comes to food lately... She must be going through a Growth Spurt or something!!

Hmm, I think it is about time that I actually get a going.  My mind is having a hard time wrapping itself around the idea of working, but I guess I gotta.  Hey, at least I don't have to file!!  Yippee...

~Rowan's First Day of School and Something Pink~

        

Well, today was the day.  My little girl, my Missy Rowan, went off to school.  Okay, so its Pre-School, but its all the same... It means she is growing up.  She no longer looks like a Little Baby... But now a Little Girl!

I took a bunch of pictures today.  Not as many as I would have liked, because my battery was dying.  But probably enough to bore you all!  So, I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to show-off my "School Girl", Miss Ro.

My beautiful girl, is growing up!  She did really well at the school though.  Was shy of course, but she adapted!  She didn't even get sad (that we know of!) whenwe gave her kisses and hugs good-bye... I hope she is doing okay.  Derek is supposed to let her call me when she gets out at noon today!  I can't wait for the call ;)

Okay, I also promised a picture of my hair!!  I didn't do anything Too crazy, but I did get a few pink strips put in... Check it out...
   
I know, it looks more red... But its Pink!  It faded A LOT in the last day or so... Not too happy about it, but it will do.  If it goes away more, I'll be calling my hair lady to get her to fix it!!

I've got a lot to do today... Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Fathers out there... And especially to the Fathers I Know and Love the most!! 

Dad- Thank You for all that you've done in my life... From watching "Inspector Gadget" when I was little, to playing Softball with me in the Rain... To being the worlds best Grandpa-pa to my Little Ones... I love you with all my heart, Thank You for being My Father and Friend!

Derek- Our kids couldn't get a better Daddy then you!!  You make their days and nights... I couldn't ask for a better Daddy for my children, thank you for being who you are... I love you!

Okay, enough Sappy-ness... lol...

Our breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and Fattening, this morning!  It was so good, I can't believe all that I ate!  My mom and I whipped up a feast for at least 10 people and there were only 6 of us eating... lol.  Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and pancakes!!  Yum Yum... And you know I had a little bit of everything too :)

The Daddy's enjoyed their breakfast and then their presents!  Derek recieved a Gift Card to Best Buy from my parents while my Daddy got a T-shirt and Mug with the picture of the 4 of us (My bro, myself and the kids) on it... Dad did tell Derek he will love to see him on the next shirt he gets like that :)  Aww... See, we've been getting my dad shirts like that for YEARS!!  He always wants and expects them...

My parents are now taking up golfing!!  They actually are taking lessons and bought clubs yesterday.  Get this, they even bought Miss Rowan a kid club so she can learn too!!  Its adorable and has a Pig cover for it!!  This morning them and my bro went to the driving range.  But when they got back, I decided I wanted to see if I'd be interested (and good) at hitting the ball!!!

Let me tell you... I'm in Love!!  I was smacking those woffle balls and they were flying across the yard!  If only I had enough money, because I'd be getting some clubs :)  My mom and I are even thinking about maybe going to the driving rage tomorrow night so I can really smack the heck out of a real ball :)  haha...

Well, Derek is off with my bro running some errands and my mom, dad, and Rowan are on a walk... Zach is napping... Hmm, what else could I wish for??  lol... Its almost too quiet here~ What is a girl to do??  I guess I could go read some, I'm onto "The Notebook" now.  I finished "Good in Bed" and was suprised at how much I liked it!  It was a good, quick read... I'm thinking I'll have to check out more of Jennifer Weiner's Books!!  My mom suprised me yesterday with a Gift Card to Border's and that she had Pre-Ordered the 6th "Harry Potter" book for Me!!  Yippee!!!

Oh, Mr. Zachary has taken a liking to food!  The last few days he has been eating either Oatmeal Cereal with Applesauce or Barely Cereal with Bananas!  He is loving it... Can't seem to get enough :)

Well, the boys are back, So I must go!  Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!

~Saturday~

Just thought I'd stop in to J-Land and say Hello to all of my friends...

Today has been pretty busy, although I did get to sleep in until just about 845am... But that doesn't count having to get up at 445am to feed the boy and then again at 6am (just as I had fallen back to sleep) to give him his medicine... It was still nice to sleep in though!!

The kids and I were out of the house at 1050 this morning to go do some errands... If I were to tell you what we did, it would ruin a suprise for a Special Man (Me Daddy!) for Father's Day, so I can't say... Then I had to run to the grocery store to pick up stuff for Derek to make a bean dip for the Father's Day celebration at his brother's tomorrow.

Busy Busy day... I was able to lay on the couch for a few, reading my Trash Magazines and cuddling with the boy... Now he is alseep in his bassinet.  Rowan is outside swimming with her Uncle Boo and Derek is cleaning up the dog mess outside...

Ahhh, a break... Of Sorts I guess... hehe.

Oh, listen to this!!  I'm still fuming...

Last night, my mom ordered pizza from a local resturant.  They delivered it out to us, and when the guy asked if we wanted Peppers and Cheese (you know, in those little packets) we said Yes.  So the guy reaches into his pocket and grabs a bunch and gives them to us.

We enjoyed our pizza and didn't think anything else about it... Until Derek got home from work at 230 this morning!  He comes storming into our room, mind you, I'm OUT of it!!

He is like, "Did you see that baggy on the counter in the kitchen?"

Me: "Um, what baggy?"

D: "The one on the counter.  A little baggy next to the cheese and peppers!!"

Mind you, he is sounding kinda upset about something...

I told him No, that I had not noticed any baggy.  That I was the only onewho used the cheese and I just grabbed two packets from the top of the pile and went on with my business.

So he goes out of our room, into the kitchen and brings in this little clear baggy.  A "dime bag" of sorts... He says, "There is F-ing Crank in this"... "You didn't see this sitting on our counter?"

At this time, I was in our bathroom, because, well, you know... So I'm looking at him with sleep in my eyes, not believing what he is saying!!  He shows me this bag with white powder residue in it... Yep, drugs!!  Drugs that were chillin' on my counter... UGH!!

So, I explained to him what happened, that the guy had reached into his pocket, handed us a bunch and that was it... So, the packet came from him!!  Derek was HOTT let me tell you... I mean, so am I.  What if Rowan would have gotten ahold of it??  Derek is going to go talk to his Sgt and then go from there, but this guy and his Boss will be made very well aware of what happened!!

So not happy about it... But at least nothing happened, so we can get over it...

Anywho...

Tomorrow is Father's Day and we'll be making my Dad and Derek breakfast... A big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, linguicia, biscuits and gravy... All the good stuff!!  Yum Yum... Then tomorrow afternoon we'll be going over to the In-Laws for a BBQ and swimming... Sounds pretty good to me!

Well, I'm going to go join my family outside... Oh!!  I know what I wanted to tell you all... I got my hair done on Friday right??  Well, I got a little something funky, not too bad, but semi-funky... Think Pink and you'll have to wait for Pics that I'll post on Monday with Ro's first day of School Pics :D

~A Shot and A Hair Cut~

A Pickle Quickie Here... Due to the Zach-Man becoming fussy in his swing...

I took Rowan to her doctor's office so that she could get her shot- Hep A- and pick up the Doctor Report, stating that she is healthy as a horse!!

Rowan did Not like getting the shot in her leg.  Both the nurse and I held her down... I'm glad we did, because I'm afraid that she would have reached up and smacked the old lady in the nose!  After we got into the car, she told me, "I'm mad at that lady"... lol... She did say Good-bye to her, after the nurse gave her a lollipop though.  Haha... Kids!

On the way back home, we stopped off at the this church that is abondoned to say Hello to Derek while they did some dog training.  Rowan was a little bummed because she wasn't able to see all the pretty doggies... But she was able to see her Daddy and give him a Kissy-Kiss.

Later today, us girls will be going and getting our hair cut... Actually, my mom and I will be getting ours cut and dyed, while Rowan just gets hers trimmed.  After her bangs are trimmed, Grandpa will be taking her and Zach home to hang out.

She's gotta have her hair cut for her First Day of School!!!  Woo Hoo... Gotta look pretty for those pics Mommy will be taking!

The kiddos and I did make it to Target yesterday evening.  Boy, did I spend way too much money :)  haha... But geeze, you just can't get out of Target under $100.

Rowan decided to pick a Barbie Backpack- good thing too, because it was on sale for $19.50 instead of $25.  It is one that has wheels and can roll or be worn over her shoulders.  I thought that would be a good thing to get because of all the stuff she'll be lugging around.

We also picked up 4 pairs of shorts, a pair of jean capri's and a few shirts to go with them all.  Most of the stuff that I picked up were on Clearance!!  Cha-Ching... That is so a Plus! 

We also got Brother new binkies and formula, diapers and a multi-pack of fruit (baby food)... He has been eating cereal every once of a while with applesauce, So I thought we'd try something new!

That was about it, besides all the stuff you actually Need in a house... You all know what I mean... The stuff they screw you on in prices because they know you Can't Live With Out Them!!

Okay, Well Zach-man's patience is running thin.  I better go pacifi him... In more ways then one.. lol...

We are having a problem with birds at my house, a serious problem.  I'm not joking here ladies and gentlemen.  See, we have this Mud Swallow nest that is up in the corner of the over hang of my porch (see picture) and the rest of the Mud Swallow population of my whole neighborhood thinks it is a safe Haven now!  Check out these pictures and you'll see what I'm talking about!!

And my poor kitty, Badge is just being driven crazy by all these birds.  See, the birds only come in the morning.  And he sits on a recliner chair and just stares out the window!!  Poor Buddy- He just 'chitters' at them and swings his tail, it drives him Nuts!

Pretty crazy huh??  I just can't wait for the babies in the nest to fly away so that we can knock down the nest to get rid of those bugger of birds!!

Anywho, yesterday's errands didn't go as we had originally planned.  But hey, does anything?  See, yesterday afternoon, our garage door came off the tracks and couldn't close!  Derek had managed (with the help of my mom) to roll it up and get his Cop Car out, but wasn't able to close it!!  Derek called this guy that fixes garage doors after he is off of work- from a garage door company- but we didn't know if he'd make it that evening.

So, my mom and I decided that we'd meet at the mall after I got off of work.  She left the garage door open and just looked the back door... Lol.  We felt kinda weird leaving the house like that, because Derek had gone off to work, but what other choice did we have??  We needed to get things done!

Too make a very long story, short, we eventually got things done at the mall, but as we were headed out to Target, Derek called.  He informed me that we needed to get home to meet the guy to fix our door!  Ugh.  So, Rowan will have to wait for her backpack and school stuff until this afternoon!!
   

She was a little bummed out, but the new shoes YaYa got her made her a Happy Girl.  Oh yes.  Rowan is a Big Girl now too.  She is actually sleeping in her bedroom all night long now!  Its great.  I don't have to fight her for My bed.  lol... And she goes to sleep with a lot less fight than usual!  I think its because we told her if she wants to be a Big Girl and go to School, that she needs to sleep in her own bed... Harsh, yes, but its working ;)

Isn't she just a doll?  She is a very precious little girl.  She is totally in love with her brother too!  She loves to feed him, help change his diaper and hold him!  In fact, my mom and I believe she actually 'talks' to her brother and knows what he wants.  Now, don't go thinking I'm all crazy or what not, but that is just how we feel.  They are very close... As close as a 3 year old and 4 month old can be!  My mom actually just IM'ed me and told me that Zachary had fallen asleep laying next to his sister on the couch... According to her, Rowan was delighted!!
   

Well, I've got a bunch of things to do today.  Things I actually need to accomplish... lol.  So, I hope all of you will have a wonderful Thursday!!  Hopefully the sun will be shining down on you, because it isn't here!!  Haha...

Isn't that picture gorgeous?  I so wish I was there, on the beach, watching the waves break and seeing the sun come through them.  Ahh, what I would give to be away from all this here to just be there for a few days...

Anyways, there isn't much going on here.  I'm at work and pretty much bored.  I have some things to do, but I don't want to do them.  I hate to file and that is one of them.  And that is a big project in itself.  See, I put it off... and off... and off... So now there is tons to do.  Can you see why I don't wanna??  The other is to enter payables, it is a small stack, but I am still not awake enough to want to do them. 

Ugh, its a funky type of day, can you tell?

This afternoon, my mom and I are taking the kids to the mall and Target.  Mom's gotta get some new tennis shoes and then we will be picking out a backpack for Miss Rowan.  Plus, I'm going to hit up the kid section in Target to pick out some cute Tee's and Shorts for Ro.  She has some shorts and t's but nothing that I'd want to send her to school in.  Although, the school did say to send them in 'play clothes', but still, she doesn't have many!

You can always find great finds at Target for the kiddos.  Like $3 for a shirt and $5 for a pair of shorts!  Yep, you gotta love that Circa brand :)

Oh yes, I went to Weight Watchers yesterday, with dissapointing results.  I really don't get it.  Not at all.  You would think that will all the walking I did last week, somewhere close to 10 miles, and a pretty sensible diet (with a few little slip ups) that I would have lost a little bit of weight right?  Well, no.  I didn't loose squat!  I in fact gained weight... Not a few ounces or anything, but 2 freaking pounds!!!  Can you tell that I'm not happy with that??  Yeah, so now I'm in a funk with a mind set of "Screw It"... lol.

Don't forget ya'll, that Father's Day is This Sunday!!  My brother is coming down from Davis on Saturday and will be here for the weekend, to help celebrate.  We will be taking my dad out to breakfast and then going to my BIL/SIL's for a BBQ later in the afternoon.  Should be really nice, if the weather holds out, that is.

Well, I suppose I should go now and file.  I don't really wanna, but its part of the job, ya know.  And I gotta pay the bills so I have to work!

Ps.  Just to clarify about the dead heffers... I guess I made it seem like they are just laying out there in the middle of the dairy!  Well, they aren't...Oops.  The farmer (or whomever it is) drags the heffer out to the front part of the dairy, by the road, so that the tallow (rendering) plant can come pick it up and dispose of it... Nice huh??  And no, no dead heffer this morning :)

Okay, so the fog has lifted for little ol' me.  I'm here and my fingers are ready to spill out that is bubbling over in my head.  Lol.  I've got some stuff to ramble on about... So, if you are ready, Sit Back, Hold On and Shut Up :)

First of all, I tried something pretty nummy this morning!  I stopped to get gas for my car this morning and because I hadn't had any caffine this morning, I decided to go into Dickies (the name of the 76 store) to grab me a Diet Pepsi.  Well, I reached into the fridge thingy and grabbed a Diet Pepsi, but to my suprise, it was a Diet Pepsi LIME!  Oh my goodness, it is tasty!!  Actually, I've been putting Lemon and Lime (not together sillies!!) in my Diet Pepsi's for a long time...

I've also liked putting Lime in my Iced Tea (Sweet Tea for you Kathi), it tastes oh-so-good.  I'm sure you all think I'm pretty crazy with that one, but its the truth.  Don't knock it until you've tried it :)  Also, if you like Diet Pepsi, give the "With Lime" a try!!

Hmm, what else?  Oh yes!  I've got some really great news about my Little Miss Rowan!  Can you guys guess what it is??  Oh come on, I know you probably have an idea...

She is starting Pre-School....  Can you believe it?  She starts next Monday morning at 8am!  I can't believe it.  Derek went in there yesterday to talk to the lady and she just asked him, "When would you like her to start?" and he said "As soon as possible" and then she asked him if Monday the 20th would be okay!!  I can't believe she is starting this soon... I guess him going in there in uniform was the quickest and easiest way to get her in... Haha!!

It is a Christian school over in the next town (Ceres) that is pretty popular and has a goodrep.  Rowan is very excited about going and she is more excited about getting a new backpack and lunch pail!  She wants a Princess backpack and a Cinderella lunchpail.  I'm thinking the Princess backpack will be something easy to obtain, but I'm not sure about the lunchpail.

What is going to be hard- besides seeing her go- is getting her to wear normal shoes!  Rowan is obsessed with her "Barbie" Flip-Flops and doesn't want to wear any shoes but those!!  So, hopefully we'll be able to find some cute shoes that she'll be willing to wear most of the time!

It will be super hard leaving her there, with people I don't know.  I've been very spoiled by having my mom as her babysitter, so I never had to learn to leave her with people that I don't know.  So, it will be new to both her and I... And yes, I'm planning on taking pictures and crying... All at the same time :)

Rowan did wonderful at gymnastics last night!  That little monster is strong, Strong, STRONG!  She can do flips on the bars, is learning how to do a back bend, and backwards summer-saults (sp??).  She just loves the child interaction too!  Which is one of the reasons why she is going to pre-school! 

Hmm, what else, what else is brewing in my tainted mind :)

Oh yes.  Derek informed me today that we might be adopting another mutt!  I don't know where he gets these ideas, but he wants to take care of a dog that a friend of his doesn't want anymore.  She is an English Bulldog and I guess she has some problems... ie chewing, no discipline.  Stuff like that.  I am not sure if I'm hot on the idea, for a couple of reasons.  One, bringing another grown female into a pack that already has an Alpha Female might be a problem.  Two, she'll have to learn our way and our discipline, which is always fun!!  Three, if Derek gets another work dog next July, we'll have no time and space for her... So, it won't be fair to bring her into our house just to have to turn her out later on.  So, we'll see what happens.

That man is crazy and so are his ideas, but I gotta love him!

Another thing is bothering me right now though.  I seriously think Mother Nature is on Crack or something... That or she is getting revenge on us for destroying her planet.  Get this, yesterday and today were/are in the mid 90's!  Okay, pretty warm right (yes, Lisa, we did turn our Air on then... lol).  Well, this Thursday and Friday, it will be back DOWN to the mid-high 70's and possible rain!!  I swear, she is coo-coo or smoking crack!

Okay, another thing that has been bothering me.  Well, not really bothering me, but something I find weird.  My drive to work is through the country, past dairies and what not.  Well, every morning I pass this small to medium sized dairy, no more than 800 head of cattle- if that.  Well, it never fails that I drive by, at least once a week that there is a dead heffer out there!  I am not kidding you... I don't understand why they have all these heffer's dying... I'm not clueless about animals, ya'll, I did participate for 4 years in FFA with raising my own animals.  But it just seems like too many of those heffer's are dying!

Weird I know, but hey, its been bugging me.

Okay all, it is time for me to get a-going.  I've got things to do and people to talk to.  Plus, I have to fill out all kinds of paper work for Rowan's pre-school.  Fun Fun!!

So, its Monday and I so didn't want to get out of bed this morning!!  I slept like ca-ca last night... Up at 2am to take some pain meds- my back was killing me and so was my toe (long story!!).  Then I tossed and turned for the rest of the night.  It was horribly hot in my house... Even with the windows open and the fan on high, it was sweltering!!

Yuck Yuck...

I swear, I would have thought I was living in Florida or something with the humidity built up in my house!!  I was freaking dying :D

Hmm, I'm so not all here this morning.  I really don't feel like being at work either.

I guess because its Monday or what not...

In other news, there is no other news...

Haha...

I didn't do squat yesterday to report on... And the only other thing I can think of is that Ro has gymnastics tonight and I'm glad, because even with swimming yesterday, she was bouncing off the walls!

The kid needs more energy outlets or she is bound to drive me crazy!! :D

You know guys, I'm freaking sorry... But truthfully, I don't know what else to say today... Maybe later when my head isn't so foggy, I'll have more to say!!

But I'm not going to drag you all anymore through the mud, so have a great day...

~Stopping In~

Just stopping in to say hello.

My day has been filled with a walk, a trip to the dump,pizza lunch and then a nap.

I'm so not complaining!

We were out of the house this morning at 830am and went on a 2.5 mile walk.  It was me, the kiddos and my parents.  Derek isn't much of a walker, even though I did invite him.  He stayed in bed and was still there when we got back :)

In fact, he was still there even after my dad and I made a trip to the dump!  Yeah, we had to go drop a load of green waste and a few pieces of trash too big to fit into our garbage can... I swear, they are too small!

When we got back, Derek requested that I call and place an order at Pizza Hut because he was 'craving pizza'.  Hmm, what is he, pregnant??  (that is what my father said, not me!!) So, because I had a coupon, we got two medium pan crust pizza's for a whole $14!!  Not bad huh??

Of course, I was a tib-bit bad and enjoyed just two pieces of pizza.  Two is nothing really bad, because long ago, I'd eat maybe 4 or 5, just because.  I swear, Pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut is just as evil as chocolate to me... its all about their crust, I'm guessing.

Well, after I ate and after the kids ate, Rowan was sent to nap.  And I thought to myself, "Self, why don't YOU go take a nap too?"  So I did.  I grabbed up Little Man and walked to my room, climbed into bed, and with in minutes, we were both out!

That was somewhere around 1250pm or so.  I eventually woke up at 2pm to give him his meds and then after that, we were both back to sleep until 3!!  Goodness, I think my body was trying to tell me something.  What do you think??

I did stay up a little later than usual last night.  I just had to finish the book I was reading (started it on Tuesday, mind you!!) called, "Something Blue" by Emily Giffin.  It was the conclusion to her first book that I purchased up in Sacramento (while there with Zach) called "Something Borrowed".  Let me tell you, I'm really not into the whole 'chick' books, but they were really good.  Actually, they aren't all that "romancy-chick" stuff, so you might want to check them out!

Now I'm reading "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner (check out her link, its another webblog!!).  I'm not too far into it, but it has to do with her reading an article written by her ex-boyfriend, saying something that he was "Loving a Larger Woman" and that she was "Good in Bed" hence the title.  I'll let you all know how it is when I finish it in a few days.  I have to have it done before the new Harry Potter book comes out!!!

Okay, well, Little Man is getting restless on his PlayMat and Rowan is eating all the M&M's out of the trail mix, so I better go snag that from her!

Plus, I better check on Derek who is outside attempting to fix a broken water pipe frome the sprinklers... And I just know he is getting frustrated.  Maybe a cold one will help him out :)

~Short Friday Hi~

I just wanted to drop in and say Hello to all my J-Land friends.

Today has been a great day so far... I just love my Fridays :) 

I was able to sleep in this morning until 815!!  Woo Hoo... Well, actually, that was after waking up at 550am to feed Zach and give him his meds.  But hey, I was able to go back to sleep.

I enjoyed that part the best because I was able to snuggle up with both Rowan and Zachary!!  Let me tell you.  Zach rarely sleeps in my bed, so to have him in there with both Rowan (who slept in her room from 930pm-2am!!) and I was a nice treat...

Then this morning, my mom and I went and got our pedicures and full sets of nails.  Let me tell you, learning how to type with nails (all over again!) is pretty difficult.  I've already had to make so many "backspaces", it isn't even funny!

After our nail appointment, my mom and I went grocery shopping... And then from there, we stopped at the pre-school that Rowan will be attending... If we can ever get her signed up!!  They director wasn't there, so the girl working wasn't able to give us anything but information.  We want to sign her up and pay the deposit!!  She needs to go to pre-schol... bad :) 

And after all that, it basically brings me to here.  Rowan is napping with Derek, who had been up for 18 hours!!  And Zach is playing on his mat... So, I thought I'd drop in and make an apperance in J-Land... lol...

But as I even type this, Zach is getting frustrated at his giraffe on his mat, so I know my time is limited!!

Guess it will be another short entry for you all.. Sorry :)  Going to go brighten the smile on Zach's face and then do some reading.. I just love reading!!

Anywho...

Today at 330pm, marks the begining of my weekend.  I'm really excited about that too, because Derek is off (or semi-off) this weekend!

Tomorrow morning, my mom and I are going for pedicures and manicures.  I haven't had a pedicure since I got married (in 2003 people!!) and have not had nails since last spring!  So, I'm really stoked about that... Plus, my mom and I get to spend some "Girl Time" together.

I was hoping that Derek and I could go and do something, like another date or so.  But he is so busy with work, it isn't even funny!  I don't mind all that much, because OT means extra ca$h in our pockets, but I would like to spend some time with thim :)  He is supposed to be off tonight, but is working graves (9pm-7am)... Then tomorrow morning, he'll be serving a search warrant... So, that means when he does get home tomorrow- when ever that may be- he'll probably be spending the most of the day sleeping!!!

So, no time with him tomorrow... Maybe Saturday if I'm lucky... lol...

My mom and I went for another walk last night.  That means that we've walked between 5-6 miles in the last two days!  We are going again tonight for another one.  We've decided that we'll be walking Tuesday-Fridays, with an option of walking the weekend mornings, but that isn't required (by me!!).  So, if we do between 2-3 miles each day, that is a total of 8-12 miles of walking in a four day period!!  Pretty good, if you do ask me! 

Hopefully, with my sensible diet and walking, I'll start to see a difference in my body... either in inches or weight...

I know its going to take time, but I'll like to see something soon!! :)

Okay, so Mother Nature is still Nucking Futs... It is a whole 64 degrees and still sprinkling outside.  I just can't believe it!  I'm totally ready for hot weather... Not this muggy shite that is going on!  I swear, you could have just sat outside last night and started sweating.  I thought this was California, not some place in the South!  Geeze...

Man, my eyes have been burning so bad lately.  I don't know if it has to do with them running jalapenos at the plant or from me being tired or something... Who knows, maybe something in the air just outside is bugging me too.  But goodness, I can't take it... I wish I had drops!!

Well, I've gotta go spend some company money... Time to run checks and send them out.  oh so fun...

~Playing With the Camera and Ramblings~

Rowan and I were playing with the camera on Monday, before we were heading off to gymnastics.  Some of them were so cute, I thought I'd share them with you.

We were outside, watering the plants when she decided she was going to climb onto the car and be silly.  So, I took the chance and grabbed the camera.  And of course, she became the ham that I know oh-so-very-well!

this is the last picture of her on the car... I made her get off, even though she was having a good time... I didn't want the neighbors thinking I was weird for taking her pic up there :)

She is the cutest little thing... So hard to say "No" to her too.  Right now, she is just in love with the idea of the "Ice Cream Cone" (Ice Cream Man).  She has the best hearing and will literally here her (yes, a lady drives the truck) when she is about two blocks away.  And when she gets closer, she'll tell me to get my money and will literally run out the front door!!  So, you can see why it is so hard to tell her no.  She is a sweet girl... And when I do tell her no, that she can't have ice cream that night, she'll wave to the gal from our frontroom window!  Can we all say, "Awww..."  Told you. 

Once I did finally get her dressed and her hair done for gymanastics class, I was able to get her to show me her Muscles!  Yes, the little girl that she is, is cut and toned more than you think she would be.  The pictures here can give you a little idea, but truthfully, they don't do her justice.

See, there is Ms. Pickle... In all her glory... Or no glory if need be... No makeup or nothing... Wow... Can't believe I'm sharing these :)  Oh well... Now you all know, the real me... haha

Oh yes.  At the doctors office yesterday, Zachary was loving on his blanket when the doctor came in.  He proclaimed that Zach looked like a prince with his blanket.  See, on one side its this really soft material and the other side is this slippery soft side.  And, it is bright yellow.  A very royal color, needless to say.
     
This blanket is his new favorite thing.  He just brightens up when it gets any where near him!  He loves to bring it to his face and put it in his mouth.  In fact, he gets it so slobbery that he has now made his face chapped!!  He loves it... And he will actually rather have that then use a binkie... But he still uses one, sorta...

Too bad this picture wasn't of his face, because he looks so peaceful when he is sleeping. 

Shoot, what else can I ramble on about this morning??  Oh!  Get this.  The weather here is just Nucking Futs I tell ya.  It is RAINING!!!  Yes, I said raining... It is around 57 degrees and pouring rain.  I can't believe it.  And this Sunday, well, get this, it is going to be close to 90 degrees!!  Holy Cow.  I think Mother Nature is drunk or something!  Haha...

Well, I'm going to run.  Nothing much else to say.  Got a month to close out and there is some stuff to do.  I hope you all have a wonderful Hump Day... lol... Hump... haha...
